Monday I hope to be back to myself. I have a few odds and ends to accomplish and would also love to be able to stop at either Hannafords Walmart or ideally both. We shall see how that pans out.
Sweet dreams and prayers continue.

It seems like I have been getting in here a day late and a dollar short. Thanks everyone for your prayers and good wishes. We are doing well just busy and exhausted by the end of the day. It has been a beautiful day with highs in the 70's. We went back to HEB this morning to get bottle water and a few other things we heard they had in. We also went to Walmart but they had to throw out all frozen foods, meat and dairy. We have decided if we don't need something there we will give all our business to HEB whether we have to stand in a short or long line. They do so much for the state of Texas in disasters.
I will KOKO. I have been tracking meal by meal instead for the whole day but that's okay too.
Ann I hope you are feeling better.
Bee Thanks to all the Louisiana truckers for the help. I love chicken but I don't care for fried chicken anymore. Your meal sounded good though.
June I love to hear your stories. LOL on underloons.
Audrey I hope you enjoyed your dinner with Rob and his family. I hope it helped Rob to interact with family. We had sunshine this afternoon and it was a beautiful day.
LaDonna Only a small chance of rain tonight but temps will be in the 40's. The only bad thing about snow melting is the mud outside and it gets tracked in the house. A neighbor has offered up his travel trailer for us to take a shower. I can't wait.
Cathy Your dress is beautiful. You made a very good looking couple and I'm sure you still do.
Scooter is still miffed with me. She refuses to eat her dogfood. It was a different kind but at the time we couldn't find hers. She thinks her world has been turned upside down. I let her lay across my lap before dinner and that made her feel a little better but she still won't eat her food and I even found her regular food today. I told her if she was hungry she would eat her food. There is nothing wrong with her. She is just acting like a spoiled rotten child. Right now I don't have the time to make her eat. She licks out our paper bowls and what table scraps she talks us out of. Critters are funny creatures.
Susi Yes it will come off again. It sounds like a wise idea to cancel the cruise. Scooter barely tolerates the cats at best.

Hi all, Sunday got away from me. After church Randy and I went out for a quick lunch and had a few errands to run. Monday goals: Eat OP and move. Ann, I hope you are feeling better. Come spring claritin will be my friend. The pollen tears me up. Susi, I'm sorry you had to cancel your trip. I hope you will find someplace fun to go that will be fabulous. Randy and I are thinking of taking a road trip to The Pensacola/Gulf Shores National Seashore area once the pandemic settles. I love going places I've never been and our trip to the Keys/Miami a couple years ago was so enjoyable. I really like Florida. Audrey, Love Nashville, and Charleston. I've been to Savannah/Tybee Island twice for long weekends. River Street is fun. I hope your DS is feeling better. The Grand Canyon is on our list of places once I feel comfortable flying again and the Pandemic has settled. June, you and I both were the cleaning ladies this weekend LOL but I'm glad it is done once again. Did you find the pillowcase? I like Zoupa Becky, how nice to of your friend to offer the TT for your shower. I know you'll feel like a new woman. We've had a sunny weekend but windy and cold. Rain tomorrow to start the work week. 70 sounds great! Like your plan to support HEB. Bee, sorry the chicken meal make you tired but it really sounded good. Hope you are more energetic today. Prayers for you as well MJ, good busy is good. Cathy, thanks for sharing the beautiful wedding photo of you and your DH. You were a beautiful bride!

Rob and his family seemed to have a great time and the boys really entertained us. They are so starved for the friendship of other children. Rob hopes to be one of the first to get a vaccination when educators get them since he interacts with everyone in the district. He is only 40 but he has so many contacts and has to go to school sites if things cannot be done remotely. Bee, we have a wonderful soul food restaurant called Rhapsody and they have delicious fried chicken but there is truly nothing on the menu that isn't over the top rich. I feel badly about not supporting them but my scale doesn't like it when I order food from them. LaDonna, Monday is always a good day for setting weekly goals. I sent the cookies home with the grandkids and their ice cream doesn't tempt me. Becky, Lily Belle is just like Scooter going on self imposed hunger strikes with nothing wrong with her. Tonight she ate like she hadn't been fed in days and other days she sticks her nose up at her food. I think it's good to support local stores and only buy from Walmart and Costco occasionally. Our store called The Market is owned by one of Rob's classmates and his brothers. Their dad owned it and they inherited it when he passed away.
This morning I will try to get in a quick walk because I have a urology appointment across town at 9:15. It's just a 6 month check up. Then I'll buy my favorite vinegar at Enzo's Table. Last time I accidentally bought two bottles of the olive oil and no vinegar.Dinner is roast chicken, sauteed kale and salad. Getting back OP.

Quick note...things are the same...still chilly. I am still eating on the blue program and the scale seems stuck BUT the last two days I did not walk and today I did so am hoping movement will help. talked to our son and briefly to our granddaughters. REALLY - one day is just like the one before with only the food combinations and books read slightly different.
Glad you enjoyed the wedding photo...I was 26 then and had my hair "layered" though it usually was all one LONG length. My husband was 39...we were so YOUNG!
AUDREY: I loved that Mexican wedding dress with the embroidery BUT think I got something on it and it stained...couldn't get it out. Always thought that the fine embroidery should be saved and used in some way...it is with my daughter, though, so not an option.
I am sure there was more I should have commented on but...will do personals tomorrow.

Good morning all. Slept pretty well. Woke up early but that was due to the extended naps during Sunday. It's all good. They are predicting 1-3" of snow today. We shall see. Luckily our supermarket and Walmart are close by so we'll get there. Cathy so long as you are following your program, the scale will move in the downward direction. Maintaining is a good thing at times. Audrey I hear you in supporting the little local business during this time. Also know what you mean in ordering from a restaurant that only offers over the top rich foods. My stomach can no longer take that type of food. LaDonna nice that you and Randy got to go out to eat after service. Becky LOL to Scooter and happy that you and Kenneth went back and picked up more of what you need. Dogs are so spoiled at times Bee, happy planning. Waving and shall CBL

Good morning, June - Ann - Bee - Becky - LaDonna - Audrey - Cathy - Susi - Pam - and AWL!
Prayers continue for you and your loved ones, and thank you for your prayers for me and mine...
Extra prayers for any in the path of fire and storm(s)... and for those who need extra helpings of divine intervention at this time... and a few extra for all students whether IRL, virtual, or hybrid... and for those who mourn... and for peace in our nation.
💞🐵🙈🐵🙉🐵🙊🐵💞
Yesterday turned out odd and I nearly spent another night in my recliner as I did Saturday night (but I did make the move to bed). I started with some YM inventory work and computer work and then Toots & I went to Wal-Mart in search of a few things for the encampment March 6-7. We were partially successful but took advantage of the trip to get bread (and donuts for the Kressling). Then more computer work, then NASCAR. and finally a TV-viewing combination of heavy-rescue towing and PBS.
Of the fewMany other things that need doing, some will get done today. We also need to fill out some paperwork at the bank. I am checking weather reports; today's "99% chance of rain" has, according to weather.com, turned into rain/snow from noon to 5 PM 🤨 so we'll need to be mindful in our planning. I don't want to be driving around in it if I don't need to be. I think that any other items for the encampment (stuff that the Kressling and I will need) will be ordered on Amazon.
One thing that needs to close out is the YM participation in the "214 Have-a-Heart Challenge". The 240+ pounds of food need to go to the health center and due to all the crazy weather Toots & I will be taking it there. So I'll call the head of We Feed Woodbridge and see what morning he can accept it - the building is locked, with limited entry by outsiders. <fingers crossed> for today, pre-precipitation.
I have no idea what I want to make for dinner. We have a portion of ham in the freezer, so that may make an appearance on this wintry NJ day.
Coffee... ☕️☕️☕️... and a peaceful start to the day...
💖💐💝💐💖💐💝💐💖💐💝💐💖💐💝 Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! 💖💐💝💐💖💐💝💐💖💐💝💐💖💐💝

Decided to pass on the shopping. Bitter cold out there and want to give my body another day to relax.

Ann I know what you mean. Eating as you normally do will make you feel better. Let the shopping commence!
Audrey I have kept Rob in my prayers for a while. I will add more. The strain of being IT and having so much in-person contact would be hard. Good luck buying your speciality items.
Bee Here's to making today a great Monday. I am thinking of hitting the store for some whole grain & fixings for easy to construct "bowls" for lunches. My niece sent me a list of mix & match ideas.
Cathy You do make a striking couple. Is not funny how young 26 seems now? I married when I was old--24 years.
Hope you can work in some movement into your routine today.
Becky I imagine that a shower will feel heavenly. Can understand why you will continue to support HEB. It's thawing here too. We are letting it do it's thing. Will put down Ice Melt before the temperature falls.
Thanks! we have so many good memories of my parents. The never ending drive to find the date farm that had the best date milkshake is one of them. Dad was telling R to try here or turn there. And R patiently did so. I was so very fortunate that R loved my parents andthey loved him.

Mj Will add my prayers that the food delivery takes place as you hope. Maybe the one who has to unlock the door will be equally motivated to beat the rain. An easy dinner seems like a good plan on a busy day with some moving pieces.

The sun is out bright and shiny! Venturing out.
June, share the ones you like with us. I love bowl things. I just did one for breakfast --- yogurt, strawberries, blueberries and some granola by Cascadian Farms. It was delicious.
Audrey, it is not something I do often.
Cathy, enjoy the day.
Ann, hope you are back to yourself. LOL
MJ, make it a good one.
LaDonna, my body is just not used to fried foods of any kind. Not my cup of tea. Hope you have a good day.
Becky, glad you got some bottled water. Read on the news this morning they say Texans will have HIGH electric bills. Sure hope not too bad for y'all.
Pam, waving at you!

(((hugs))) June as you remember your DP's. It's wonderful that R had such a great relationship with both of them. Carl was the same way even though he didn't understand what my dad was saying with the Italian accent. Funny...I never noticed it My day is planned and tracked. I found a container of lentil soup and going to defrost that in the crock pot for supper. Gotta love food shopping in the freezer Bee, like you I have fried foods on occasion only. Love fried clam strips and I can 'get away' with eating a few of them at a time...also love fried haddock and fries and same deal. My mind and taste buds want them...but my belly rebels LOL. Waving to all. Going to get comfy on the sectional with my kindle and read. This is the perfect way to spend my day!

Audrey/June - Thanks for the Venice feedback. All of my travel companions have been there and were looking forward to showing the some of the highlights. We were booking a walking food tour of the Jewish Ghetto. I was looking forward to Croatia as many of our J-1 students come from there and talk about how beautiful it is. Becky - I can't believe that after what you went through you are now in the 70s! Animals can be picky about food. Lily, bless her heart, will eat almost anything. As will Jack. Midnight not so much so. Enjoy your shower! Ann - Glad you slept pretty well. Stay warm! Nice to go freezer shopping successfully! LaDonna - Some days just get away from us. Audrey - I'm so glad Rob and family had a wonderful time at dinner. Good luck with your appointments. It was 3 years ago this week that I went to the Grand Canyon West Rim. My pictures did it no justice whatsoever. We have a store similar to The Market called Delicious Orchards. It's a bit of a haul to get there so I only go a few times a year but they carry very high quality items. It's also the only place I can buy venison but at almost $29 lb.... Hi Cathy. Have a great day!
