Good morning friends. I slept okay last night. Woke up early but that was due to all the napping I did Sunday. It's all good.
We are in for 1-3" of snow at some point today. I would like to get to Hannaford and Walmart for a few items, but we'll see. So far I'm feeling a heck of a lot better than Sunday and for that I'm most grateful.

Bitter cold out there and decided to skip the shopping. I want to give my body another day to relax.

Good morning!
I went to bed early last evening, before 10:00, with my neck really sore. I slept surprisingly well and feel much better this morning. I can turn my head without pain and just have a little tightness between the shoulder blades. I headed out early to get the car serviced and am waiting on it now. When I get home, I’ll have some fruit and yogurt for breakfast, reboot the laundry and head out for a walk with Debbie. It’s already 55 degrees and should climb into the low 60’s . Maybe the remaining ice will melt.
Dinner will be a boiled dinner with cabbage and various vegetables cooked with either ham or sausage. It’s a favorite of ours. At 6:30 I’ll head to church to hear a Lenten speaker.
Ann- I’m glad you are feeling better today.
Waving to Sue and Judy!

Pam so happy to hear that your neck pain has improved. Also great news on the melting ice. Win win on both accounts. Enjoy your breakfast.
It's going to be a nice low key day for me. I plan on kicking back reading and just puttering around.
Day is planned and tracked. Found a container of lentil soup and that will be supper along with a Rhodes French roll.....lunch is FF Greek Yogurt with fruit and a tuna salad rollup, and breakfast was a veggie cheese omelet. I split a Bay's English muffin with Carl. Have plenty of hummus and petite baby carrots to munch as well.

Hey all,
Snow is on the way...again. Not sure how much this time but my hairdresser rescheduled my appointment until tomorrow over lunchtime. That works better. I won't go driving in snow unless I really need to do so!
Pam, I am glad your neck and shoulders feel better. I have a lot of pain the past few days in my neck, too, and not sure why. Nothing as bad as you describe but very achy in that area so I have been taking Advil which helps. I especially notice it when working here at my laptop. Not losing mobility but almost like a dull ache there. Don't know if I told you all but I was able to get my vaccine!! I skipped the state site after all the trouble and received my first dose from Walgreen's. Other than soreness on the arm and feeling tired yesterday, I am fine. I am so happy to have had it. I practically kissed the nurse! I really lucked out as there was one appt available when I checked randomly on the Walgreen's site. My neck pain could be from that and hopefully temporary. Dh has his second vaccine on Saturday. We both had Pfizer. Since I am flying in April, this makes all the difference. I had already decided I would not go unless I was vaccinated. I do believe more shots are on their way as I am hearing about more and more friends getting shots.
Pam, the dog story makes me so angry. I don't understand some people and their careless neglect and abuse of animals. That poor dog and poor you and your friend having to worry about getting bitten. Ugh. Poor animals, like children, are just at our mercy and need a lot of luck to survive and be happy. Wow, your DH is a terrific cook whipping up that Mexican feast. He sounds like a master chef! :-)
Ann, Carl, too, sounds like a great chef. I love to cook and love my kitchen so much that I am secretly thankful that my DH is not a good cook. It is about the ONLY area where I can contribute happily every day. lol
Back to the grindstone. Have a great day ladies and I will check in later on. I will do Leslie Sansone later on. Breakfast today was oatmeal with blueberries and lunch was an all beef hotdog on a slice of Dave's thin ww bread. Dinner is going to be a pork chop with green beans and roasted potatoes. Have a good one.

Judy I must have missed where you got your shot. Have a hard time finding anything out. Maybe we'll go back to Walgreens. I would like it before I go to the eye specialist in June as if I don't have the shot I shall cancel. I will not have cataract surgery done without that layer of protection.
Your meals sound good.
Lol to wanting to kiss the nurse.
Snowing at a good clip here but not sticking. Happy for that. If course that too could change!!!

Ann, keep checking the Walgreens site. You need to have an account and just sign in. The appts pop up. Worth a shot ...no pun intended...and also CVS. My friend just got one at Harrington in Southbridge. Also towards the western part of MA like Amherst and Northampton...

Good Afternoon, WW Friends ~
Happy Monday!! I have been to school and done my gig and am now back home. I didn't have a chance to get online this morning, as I went in early and consequently left early. I slept well, though I dreamed a bit this morning, and ended up waking up at 6 a.m. I got up and had time for coffee and news and then had FF Greek yogurt & blackberries w/F1 for breakfast.
Ann ~ I was relieved to hear that you are feeling better today. I have suffered with sinus pressure/pain in the past and know how undesirable that is to deal with. I believe you made the right decision about putting off your shopping. Why be cold??
Judy ~ Congrats on getting your vaccine! Your perseverance certainly paid off!! DH and I are now more than two weeks out from our second shot and feel much relieved to have that extra layer of protection. My VBF got her second shot this past weekend and we are planning to go out to breakfast after our WW WI this coming Saturday. That will be such a treat for us!! Oh, BTW, I will not give up anything I love .... but I will find a way to fit it into my daily plan (whatever that may be at any given time). I learned from my first leader not to do anything to lose that I wouldn't be willing to do the rest of my life. She was so right!! OTOH, I feel sad for the lady who thought she had to be so rigid. Food is NOT our enemy! (learned from my first leader as well) but we have to remain in control. I prefer to be able to enjoy my food, not fear or hate it.
Pam ~ I am very much a dog lover, but they need to be taken care of! Letting dogs run loose is animal abuse in my opinion. It is wonderful that your neck is better! Do you think the heat helped? or the anti-inflammatory? or both? Your boiled dinner sounded delicious! I was so sad that last year the State closed the restaurants on March 16th because we always went out for boiled dinner on March 17th. Those days are gone now, as we always ate at DH's VBF's restaurant (which is closed and for sale). I see a lot of plain white and plain black masks around here too. I enjoy my characters, and my decorator ones - today I wore a red with silver snowflakes on it. It suits me and the way I dress. Fortunately there is something for everyone. And, you're right, the kiddos enjoy them too.
Speaking of soup, my DH has absolutely fallen in love with our veggie/bean soup. The batch that I made on Saturday is already half gone. I put one container in the fridge and one in the downstairs freezer. I gave him a cup of it Saturday when it got done. Yesterday he asked if he could have some for lunch and I paired it with Laughing Cow cheese dippers & red grapes. Today he called me that he was coming home to work on the washing machine, and "perhaps we could have a cup of soup each?" Now the first container (which usually lasts me a week) is gone, and I had to bring up the one from the freezer already. It barely had time to freeze! Looks like I'll be making it more sooner than later?
So I was home early today and had time to fix lunch for DH and me, and we ate together and then he retired to the basement (where my laundry room is) to spend some quality time with the washer. I feel so blessed with a hubby that can fix just about anything. I was so sad when it broke, but he said "no worries, I'll look at it". That also happened with our water softener when we moved here, and later on with our water heater. What a gem!! That's only a couple of things that he has replaced around here.
I finally got my library cleaned out from my Kindle, and now I can find my books. I started a new one, and I am fearful that it is not going to be to my liking, but it's too soon to tell. If it is, I'll dump it and choose from the collection I already have (plus I added one yesterday).
BBL. Make a great day!!

Sue LOL to your DH loving the soup!!!! I love soup and frequently we will have it for supper. I have it at least once a day. It's my 'to go to' food Sorry for your dreams. I had a strange dream but can't for the life of me remember. I'm not sure if it was when I was sleeping yesterday or at night. Yeah to getting the kindle cleaned out. In looking over my books there are a few others that I need to purge but will wait. I'm still reading #9 in the series and so enjoying it. Yesterday I didn't get to read much as I kept nodding off. Today was different. I made a good dent in it. It's still snowing out there and coming down at a good clip. Winter wonderland once again LOL. I showered early and got jammified and just puttered around. Felt good to not have an agenda. Sue I also bet the kids LOVE the masks

Judy I think that's the site that Carl signed up for. Not really sure. Last time we stopped in Walgreens they weren't even sure if they were going to be distributing shots at that location. They 'thought' Gardner was but it was still too early in the game.
As much as I want it to be one and done, I can't obsess over it. That never works well for me LOL.....
