doordie50Yes, that darn groundhog!π₯Ά I'm in. Not as cold here and snow is about done for a day or two but then we may get rain, mix for a couple days with all this snow on the ground.π€ Any one else getting flocks of robbins? Our neighbor across the street had a large flock of robbins eating the berries off their tree. We had a mild winter until all the snow hit us recently the reason they didn't go south. You can put dog food and blueberries out for them if you want to feed them according to a wildlife gal who rescues wild animals. My DD said they were eating on a Hawaiian role she put out. Have a great day!π€

Good morning! The sunny morning is lifting my spirits today. Or, it may be the coffee! Whatever, feels like a regular Monday. Going with DH to the dentist and then we'll pick up the grandkids. DD has a work day at school but the kids get another day off. I'm not sure there has been much education going on for the past year. I hope they get back into their schedule tomorrow. Water damage in the schools and no water available is still an issue in a lot of the school buildings.
I'm IN. I grilled extra chicken yesterday so we'll eat that with a big salad.

Good morning everyone! Thank you for the start MJ π€ I keep forgetting to ask, none of the Texas peeps are going to be hit with one of those electric bills we keep hearing about on the news right? How is that not illegal?!? I have never been so grateful for having a fixed rate on my electric as I am now although they are talking about raising the rates. ππ€¬ I still have snow on my roof!! Almost gone but sheesh. (There are big pines blocking that part of the roof.) Good luck at the doc doordie50! I am IN! Have a great day everyone. βοΈβοΈβοΈ

a fixed rate on my electric Two weeks ago, I renewed my electric contract with Reliant which I know is higher than most but maybe it's big enough to survive. The contract is for 24 months and I'm hopefully this was a good decision.

Hi everyone, We are getting snow here. it started around 9 and is supposed to end at 2:00 so we are in school. Everyone is freaking out, but I could not handle a fourth day of virtual learning.
I have a rheumatologist appointment at 2:00, so I took a 1/2 day. My sub just called off so I'm staying here until 1:00 instead of 11:30. then they will find someone to cover.
I have to put 3 days worth of data into the kids program books and try get a start on the recommendations I was given. I just feel very frazzled right now.
Stay safe and warm everyone

Good morning. I'm in. Nothing news worthy. Diva49: Thank you for starting the thread DotRen: Your instagram foods ALL look delicious. Doordie50: Split pea soup sounds DELICIOUS. Mac: No Robins but if we leave the gate open the wild burros eat the oranges. Dog food for the birds? Any birds or just Robins? Dry or wet? Linda72: Well good morning. Glad your spirits are high. How fun to be close to your grandbabies. DebDoesWW: Nice to see you on here. An electrical contract? So now you can go out and buy an electric car and you still pay the same amount? hpeterson: It sounds like you have an extreme calendar along with the weather. Hang in there.

Hi all!
Snowing really heavily right now, nearly a white-out. Supposed to amount to about five inches. Very pretty!
Wishing all in Texas a speedy resolution to their problems!

Not flocks, but after we feed the ferals and they go to where ever they go, the birds pick at what's left. And the squirrels.
I'm in, planned and tracked.

RidgeRunnerDry dog food for the robbins that the gal threw out on the snow. Dog food probably softens up with the snow. Thanks for sharing the beautiful picture, is it where you live?
