Thanks for the start June.
Lol Becky too funny.
I'd say we got about 3" of snow. Going to be 40 tomorrow so only thing Carl will do is shovel end of driveways from the plow.
I plan on getting shopping done. Along with PTMH.

Becky, I think we have to rethink Phil’s advice.
I’ll walk early today. I have a manicure and will then help Leo till noon. This afternoon I have another Song Writers of Rock and Roll class. It will be 70 today so beautiful weather. Our next storm and weather change will happen this weekend. Bob is grilling bran Zion for dinner. I’ll roast asparagus and make salads. Ann, Carl is making good use of his snow blower.

I will PTMH and KOKO. We need to make a produce and dairy run to HEB in the morning then I have a hair appointment so I can get my hair shampooed and even it out a little in the back.
Audrey Phil is on a hit list in my town. Wednesday the high is supposed to hit 80 and so is the weather in Texas.
**Breaking News**(LOL) Scooter picked up her food bowl and brought it to me to put her kibble in it. I knew there wasn't anything wrong with her besides being stubborn. I paid her more attention today and I guess her feelings were soothed. She is no longer glaring at me. Pets are funny creatures.

Nothing new to share. Scale is not moving but I am on program and positive it WILL move eventually. I have a book review to write and books to read so will keep busy. I have garbanzo beans defrosting to add to a zucchini stew OR to make hummus or something else with. It might be time to make a yogurt-cucumber salad? Hmm...
BECKY: Too funny about Scooter...and loved the groundhog post! I am glad you get a bit of pampering soon and can look forward to a hot shower, too.
AUDREY: Hope you enjoy the class. Too funny about the cat(s) and how they chose where to live!
ANN: I agree that maintaining/plateaus can be good things. Why? Because it gives the body more time to adjust, acclimate to the changes and tighten up whatever it can. So, no worries. How does tea smell if "off"? Interesting concept...I have some OLD tea!
MJ: I hope that you managed to get the food to the place it is meant to go and will have that checked off your to-do list. Also hope you managed to avoid being on the road in bad weather. Just read you DID make the delivery before it turned bad on the roads...hooray!
JUNE: It was like yesterday in some ways...the wedding. In others...a LONG time ago! Your mention of "date shake" reminded me of a time in the car with my parents and stopping for a date shake somewhere in California. I think we might have been coming in from Iowa on a trip at some point or??? I just googled and found: www.seriouseats.com/2008/05/best-date-shakes-in-southern-california.html and wonder if it was Hadley's or Shield's...looking at the map it could have been either since the freeway was the same and dad went to medical school in Loma Linda...hmm...AND either that trip or another one I remember coming over a hilltop and seeing all the lights of Los Angeles after NOTHING for miles.
BEE: Your breakfast bowl sounds delicious! I love granola but don't have it often. Used to make it...hmm...
SUSI: Sorry your travel plans have been changed It will be nice to have Barbara trained to assist or take over when you travel.
LADONNA: I have never heard of venison hotdogs! Do you make them yourself and do you use a sausage filler device?
Okay...think I am caught up. I reinforced my sister's win with the weight loss...she has not been losing so I asked her to see how long she has been maintaining UNDER her goal of 150 and that did put things into perspective for her...she went to bed a happy camper

Good morning girls. Slept well last night and grateful. Snow looks pretty out there. We are under an 'ice advisory' but by the time we go out it will more than likely be melted. Surely hope so.
Great attitude, Cathy. So happy that you were able to help your sister. My tea just didn't smell like tea LOL...it was supposed to be peppermint and I didn't get that aroma so out it went. I do better buying the individually wrapped teas...these were just in a box and maybe that's what happened.....
Becky enjoy the salon appointment. I'm sure you will. Hope you find what you need at HEB....LOL to Scooter. Fur kids truly DO have us trained!!!!
Audrey enjoy the manicure and helping Leo with school work. Yes Carl has put that snow blower to good use. It was delivered on 9/11 ... a day we'll always remember....
Waving and will CBL

Good morning
Ann How is your tummy feeling? Funny how my mind works. . . Clerk's voice coming over the speaker, "Not sure what to make for dinner? We have, homemade lentil soup-- just like your mamma-- or somebody's mamma-- use to make-- in the freezer section. Perfect for a winter evening." Hope that you enjoyed your soup. My vegetable soup sure hit the spot last night.
Audrey LOL. . . Autocorrect makes for interesting reading. Yesterday my "Croatia" became rotissirre. Today, I am guessing what your "bran Zion". Is. Pork loin? Enjoy your time w/ Leo.
Becky Enjoy having your hair washed and styled. It will be good for you to be pampered. LOL . . . Poor Phil He. tired to warn us that winter had us in it's sights for 6 more weeks. Glad that Scooter is eating kibble again. Nice to have everyonefeeling more like themselves.
Cathy Great attitude! Celebrating both you and your sister! What a great memory, Cathy. Thanks for sharing it. I will have to look at those date farms. We had visited Yuma, driven near the sand dunes where part of the first Star Wars was filmed, and then Mom insisted that we gett R a date milkshake. Mom & R had a thing where they introduced new foods to each other.

Ann Glad that you can work around the ice advisory. Snow is pretty. I am not complaining. We have ice on the large cement pad in front of the garage & driveway. But Mother Nature is melting it. Will let her do "her thing." I usually shovel, but this year I have been busy with school work.
Mj Very proud of the productive food drive by your YMs! Glad thatyou were able to deliver the food, esp. since so many are in need this winter Hope today is one in which you and Carl can linger over your coffee. I saw this somewhere and thought of our group. I did not choose the mug life, the mug life chose me.

I forgot to press send before I left for the gym Thanks for the start June Too funny Becky! Yes, Scooter has you trained. For you that's not too bad for the snow Ann. Enjoy your mani Audrey. Is that branzino? How does he grill it? We can only buy it whole here and I'm not sure how to prep it. I just couldn't sleep any more. Realized I hadn't signed up for my spin classes for this week. Next Sunday's class is sold out!

Tuesday's goal Head to my study to do some school work. Call for an appt. or two. Check on R & DS. Both had their second vaccination shot yesterday. Very grateful that a more coordinated vaccination effort is underway. Sad that we hit a milestone for recorded C-19 deaths yesterday. Susi Hope today treats you well. No more disappearing payroll stuff! That is not like you to overlook the sign up for spin class. Was it because you are alternating some of your workouts? LOL. . . Good one! Niceto have an innocent laugh b/c of autocorrect. Hope that you do not mind,Audrey. I can't imagine typing onthe phone as you do. My iPad is wonky enough.

Good morning, June - Becky - Ann - Audrey - Cathy - Bee - LaDonna - Susi - Pam - and AWL!
Prayers continue for you and your loved ones, and thank you for your prayers for me and mine...
Extra prayers for any in the path of fire and storm(s)... and for those who need extra helpings of divine intervention at this time... and a few extra for all students whether IRL, virtual, or hybrid... and for those who mourn... and for peace in our nation.
💞🐵🙈🐵🙉🐵🙊🐵💞
After we went to the bank and then delivered the 240# of food to the health center, we dropped off a couple of items at a YM's house in Fords and then went to White Castle for lunch. Not the healthiest or most WW-SP-friendly choice, but we enjoyed every bite while sitting in our own personal snowglobe - GracieTOO in the White Castle parking lot.
The rest of Monday? I did a bit of computer work but then deliberately walked away from it at 3 PM and spent the rest of the day/evening knitting and watching various TV shows. That means that I actually ignored a couple of phone calls, e-mails, and texts; however, none of them were high enough priority that they couldn't wait until today.
Today's cloudy but temps are above freezing, so some melting should occur. We'll see if we feel motivated to "help the melt along" on the driveway.
Otherwise, today is going to be spent processing a bunch of Russ🤹♀️Stuff and also some more computer prep work for the YM encampment.
Dinner will be rotisserie chicken, our one trip out of the house.
It's time for coffee... ☕️☕️☕️... and breakfast...
💖💐💝💐💖💐💝💐💖💐💝💐💖💐💝 Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! 💖💐💝💐💖💐💝💐💖💐💝💐💖💐💝

Susi Goodness. . . Today must be the day for pampering. Enjoy it. I always like to have someone else wash and style my hair. R has felt fine except for when he rolled over on the injection site when he awoke. Will check on DS later.
Mj Sometimes a FF burger just iseasier and tastes good. I liketo look at the falling snow also. It is prettier though when the roads are manageable & people are safe.
I think we both decided to "stick a fork in it" about the same time. what smart cookies we were.
