LOL June...loved the 'lentil soup' over the loud speaker. Yes it was good and we so enjoyed it. My tummy is feeling a little better...but not quite 'there' yet. Still have that dull headache but grateful it's not a bad as it was. Contemplating shopping today or not...time will tell. Glad you knew when to 'walk away' from the stuff and enjoy! Hope R and DS feel better after the shot. The sun is nice and bright and melting all that nasty black ice. Happy for that. MJ also happy that you set a time for YOU and just relaxed with knitting and tv programs. Atta girl Susi you've been busy. Enjoy that hair appointment. A light dinner will be a good thing. I'm going to brew a cup of ginger tea and see if that helps my tummy. Waving..........

Hi all, Having lunch at my desk. KOKO I'd like to ask for an extra prayer for Sylvia. She is not doing well and having lots of negative side effects from treatment. TIA - Becky, cute pic I know the wash and blow dry will feel good. Longer hair in the winter keeps the neck warm That Scooter is a hoot! Ann, might be better to rest another day since tummy is not quite up to par. Glad the sun is shining. It is here too. and warmer in the 60s today. Audrey, enjoy the nail pampering and Leo Cathy, not sure how the processer does the venison dogs but they are not that great to me. They are "tougher" than a regular beef Weiner for lack of a better explanation. The flavor is not bad but they are just not for me. June, I hope all is well with R and DS when you ck on them and the vaccination helps keep them safe. Howd you do with the second? Have u had it? Susi, I was thinking that rim was closer to Vegas. We were thinking of flying into Phoenix and riding thru/touring Sedona otw to the South Rim then heading to Vegas and flying home from there. One day. That's on hold for now but I still have my plans I had put together so I dont' have to research all over again. Sorry the class was full! MJ, good luck with all the computer work and the RC sounds perfect. Always a good meal choice. Bee, hope you are well today!

LaDonna R said that he feels nothing at all- no aches, chills, fever, rash, fatigue. Nothing. He said ifhad had not pressed onthe injection site, he would not have known he evengot the shot. My sister, Karen, has a slight fever, is a little chilled, and her lower body aches a bit. She has a compromised immune system though. My oldest sister wwas like R. She felt nothing except when she bumped the injectionshot onetime.
I go for my second shot on Thursday.
I think that without traffic & one quick pit stop, the drive from Phx to the G Canyon is about 3 -4 hrs. one way. Phx, does make a pretty good base for some side trips. I've also likes Tuscon's Saugaro Natl. Park at sunrise or sunset, Hoover Dam. Las Vegas, Redrock Canyon, and so on. GRand Canyon is pretty majestic and inspiring whether you stay a 1/2 hr., 1/2 day, or more. It is always worth the trip.
Randy would enjoy spotting the Desert Bighorn sheep inthe canyon. I have to tell you that the flying squirrels jumping from tree to tree along the upper canyon wall made my stomach clutch! Also I did not appreciate seeing a big ol rattlesnake coiled on the road.
I also think that venisiontrail baloney or smoked sausage tastes better than deer dogs.
Mj I know the feeling! I spent a chunk of yesterday trying to get a definitive, for sure,no surprise coming, this bill is closed , confirmation from Quest labs. This has been an almost year-long situation. I stuck a pitchfork in That particularly task!
han inthere!!!!

The ginger tea helped the tummy issues so I saddled up Carl and LuLa and we took a hood walk, came home and left for Hannaford's Skipped Walmart as I didn't want to push it. Tomorrow is another day. MJ so sorry that things that were supposed to be done yesterday were waiting for you today. Hope you can get some R&R in. LaDonna so sorry to hear that about Sylvia. She shall remain in my prayers and do keep us posted. A KOKO day is a good day June thanks for the feedback on R and DS shot. Our neighbor went for her shot and she said it felt like she had a charlie horse in her arm...other than that, nothing. Her arm pain lasted about 2 days. While we were at Hannaford's we picked up pork chops for tonight. I have plenty of tasty sides to add. Carl will 'man the grille'

MJ so sorry that things that were supposed to be done yesterday were waiting for you today. Worse. Something that was supposedly "done in its entirety" yesterday needed corrections today that took twice as long as the original bank transaction (and I am awaiting confirmation that what I submitted electronically today is complete and accurate and solves the problem). <sigh>.

LaDonna Phoenix and its suburb Scottsdale and Sedona are wonderful cities but don’t go in August when it’s over 100.[ We used to go There to conferences for Bob the same time it was spring training. There is a fabulous museum of Indian artifacts called the Heard as well as Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural school. Sedona’s red rock formations are beautiful. br]Definitely including Sylvia in my prayers. I feel so sorry for everyone who has to go through cancer treatments.

June, Thats wonderful that R had no ill effects and the DSs is minimal. Good luck with yours. Oh my flying squirrels and rattle snakes is a little too much nature LOL but I know Randy will love it all. Ann, enjoy the pchops. glad the tea seemed to help. I hope you will be back to Ann soon Audrey, springtime is when we want to go. Not this spring but hopefully 2022. We were all set to go last year and Covid and my heart issues put a stop to that. MJ, so sorry hope that is resolved soon Thanks so much for the prayers for Sylvia. I know they will mean a lot to her..

Been a busy, gorgeous day.
I shopped groceries this morning.
The nurse visited.
I cooked butternut squash ravioli with stir fried chicken. Made a sauce --- not healthy --- with Boursin garlic and herb dip and yogurt. Was good, but the sauce wasn't pretty. Had a large salad with it.

Audrey I think it's the OTC sinus pills I was taking and also Ibuprofen. That's the only thing I can think of. The ginger tea seemed to work wonders. LaDonna the pchops were very good. I made a salad and mixed veggies...and a crusty roll of course Happy you got out to shop, Bee. Your meal sounds tasty. I took another very short walk as it started to mist. I can't stand when it messes with my eyeglasses!

Audrey Yes Scooter definitely has me trained. The cats have been much better through this than she has. They eat their food. I know you enjoyed the manicure and helping Leo.
Cathy The scale will move again but I know it's hard to be patient. Scooter is something else. Funny was not the word I had in mind. I kept calling her an obstinate child. Hopefully by tomorrow night we may be able to take a hot shower.
Ann Glad you slept well. I did too. I am also grateful. Snow does look pretty from the inside. I feel like a million dollars after a shampoo and trim.
June LOL on the loud speaker in your mind. I did so enjoy my hair cut and shampoo. Phil is not appreciated around here. There was nothing wrong with Scooter but plain being stubborn. She hasn't eaten today but some days she only eats her food once a day. Today I seem to be her BFF. When she is in the house she follows me around. At least I'm not getting the glare from her anymore. Darn rotten spoiled canine. I thought cats were finicky but mine aren't near as finicky as she is. At least they will eat their food. Absolutely right on the mug life.
Susi Yes she does have me trained. We keep saying she is so rotten she is black.
