Chele, how did Iggy's appointment go? How was grocery shopping? I find the stores tend to be less crowded on Tuesdays here, probably because the new ad comes out on Wednesday. The air fryer made the eggplant fries extra crispy on the outside. I warmed up some for Dale's dinner and he agreed they were even better than out of the oven. How much snow did you get in total?
We watched Men in Kilts last night, Kathy. Were you, like me, secretly hoping that Sam would lose the wager? I was amazed at how competitive Graham was, given that he is almost 2 decades older than Sam. Good job on putting together a plan for the week. You aren't working toward competing, so it doesn't have to be particularly detailed. We streamed The Luminaries last week but are not caught up. I knew I had seen the guy playing Emery but didn't think to look him up, which is unusual for me. I liked him in Yesterday. I finished watching Torchwood: Children of the Earth today. I think I liked Capaldi better as Frobisher. I wondered if Lois would become part of Torchwood. Guess not. I may wait on series 4. I'm still getting over losing Tosh and Owen and now Ianto.
Linda, I wish I had the terrain to do what you've done with your landscaping. We have the acreage, but it's anything but level and has lots of rocks and heavy clay soil. We decided yesterday that we are going to relocate the blackberries because of all the weeds that we can't seem to stay ahead of. We'll solarize the area and then plant a cover crop there. I saw the Duke on SNL. Yes, he can smolder. I've heard the series was pretty racy.
What kind of a day are you having, Liz? I hope the concussion symptoms will disappear and you won't need the MRI. But next week is going to be next month, so you won't have to wait long. I had one from a wreck in the late 70s and it took a while to get fully recovered. Good to hear that Zoe is showing improvement.
Denise, are you back to work this week? Did you enjoy the lake this weekend?
Gym was a bit more crowded than usual but I managed to keep my distance. Grocery store wasn't bad and we didn't need that much anyway so it was a quick trip. I saw something there today that I hadn't seen before. I was sitting at the traffic light and looked to see what the price of unleaded was and saw it change from $2.25 to $2.32 in the blink of an eye. I heard they had to close down some of the platforms in the Gulf due to the cold, so I guess they'll be playing catch up for a while, at our expense. We have a beautiful day and it's already over 60° so I think Sweet Potato and I may go out on the deck to catch a little Vitamin D.

Thanks for the start, Karen. Iggy says his back feels better but he still has an ice pack on it and is going back next week. His bending is limited. I didn’t go to the grocery today. I should have but I wasn’t in the mood. I usually enjoy my shopping trip but have been in a funky mood for a few days. We ended up with a total of 13.4 inches in February. It is sunny and warmer today at 48° and the snow is melting. We can see some grass now. The dark eyed juncos will go away because they show up when it snows. That is why we haven’t seen them since we put up the feeders, not enough snow before now.
Waving to the crew. Hope you are all well.

Chele I am glad Iggy is feeling better. I hope your spirits lift soon. That is a lot of snow.
