Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
A bit of a wintry mix going on today. Temps expected to reach 38 today, 44 tomorrow so this should clear up nicely.
First Covid vaccine scheduled for tomorrow morning, finally! All of the local Walgreens had openings.
I do need to get to the grocery store today. Will wait until after noon.
Other than that, nothing going on. Quiet day and that’s ok.
Enjoy

Joyce, glad to hear that you were able to get your appointment for the vaccine. Do you know which one you will get?
Ruth, the gift you had made for Carol’s DDs and DGDs is lovely. I’m sure they will treasure them. Bill is on Tamsulosin and that has helped with his nighttime trips. Hope your team won the hockey game. We feel the same way about being too old for us to get on the ground to do some of this clean-up.
Waving to Martha, hope you are feeling better. Are you working today?
The supervisor finally came around 5 last night and did a lot of clean up, which I thought the installer should have done. Things are definitely looking better. He had a helper with him and they stayed for almost an hour. The salesman will call today and we will make final payment. I have been doing a lot of cleaning, just general cleaning after having work done in the condo. My right thumb is really hurting, from all the extra cleaning and also from using the computer. I will be doing quick check in while I give my thumb and wrist a rest.

Good morning. Sun was shining earlier and now it’s a little more overcast. It’s 36 now and heading to 40 again. I didn’t get out yesterday, but will shortly. I’m going to follow Stan to the Subaru dealership to get the Outback in for a recall. I haven’t driven in quite a while, so will be very cautious going. Then we will run down to Heather’s as she made me 3 new shirts. She got an email from the fabric place she likes and saw some fabrics she thought I’d like and she showed me and then made the shirts. 2 of them I’ve seen the fabric, the 3rd I have not. Will get 3 shirts out of the closet to donate when I get home.
Joy, I’m thrilled you are getting your shots soon. There is just no rhyme or reason to how it’s being done. Our former cleaning lady checked in the other day and she was saying her 80 yr old aunt and uncle still were not able to get signed up. And she said they have computer access. But their clinic had not contacted them and they are on our state lottery but hadn’t gotten called. As 80 yr olds they should have been in that first wave, not waiting in the 65 plus lottery! Our older DD said that in WI she will be getting a shot in early March. They will be starting teachers (and special education ones are at the head of the line because of special needs students); plus she has asthma & rheumatoid arthritis and you put all that down on the questionnaire she had to do. Hoping it gets her close to the head of the line.
Martha, hope you are doing well. Going into the office at all? Is your snow melting at all?
Dottie, I’m hoping the dr will put Stan on something. We’ll both sleep better. I’m just happy he finally is doing something about it. And about half way thru the night last night, the weighted blanket became too much and I moved it aside. Will try it again tonight when I go to bed. Want to give it a week to see what happens.
Sounds like the supervisor took your comments about the cleaning needed seriously. What are they doing about dings to your furniture and all that? Send a picture of the new flooring. Would love to see it.
I hope they all like the necklaces. I’ll try to get those mailed today.
Ok, need to get moving to go with Stan to the dealer and Heather’s. More later.
and yes, they won the hockey game. 6-2 was the final score. And it was over about 12:15 am!!!
