Yesterday I was gone until 2:30. I had 15 minutes to change, make sure Lily Belle went outside, empty the dishwasher, get the mail etc. before my rock and roll class started. It was James Taylor and Carole King so very relaxing. Today I will PTMH and walk quickly before breakfast. Lily Belle and her friend Charley have their monthly beauty appointment at 8 a.m. and I have a dermatologist appointment at 9:30. I will have to pick up the dogs so I told Leo I may not help him tomorrow. That is why I stayed longer yesterday. It was 70 degrees and I couldn't enjoy it so perhaps today. Bob is grilling pork chops for dinner and I will make butterstick squash and salads. Have a good day.

Well...I came inside, hit the screen to wake it up and the LONG post I had created with personals...poofed.
I will keep it brief this time:
* hubby has a date for his first covid vaccination - next Monday * the scale is stuck - I am going to watch portion sizes and keep exercising * the weather is improving and windows are open * personals will wait...again. I did read all the posts and had done personals so know I was thinking of each and every one of you!

Becky Looking good! Very nice haircut. Ann is right. That is a great color for you.
Ann Good plan for staying on track. Hope that your WM trip is successful.
Audrey You needed to fly like the wind when you returned home yesterday. Carole King and James Taylor produced many great songs. Do you have a favorite song? Good luck at your dermatology appointment.
Cathy That's too bad! We all hate it when we lose a long post. Sometimes a little change can make a big difference. Go for it!

Wednesday's goals Crossings my fingers that I have more early submissions. Much easier to grade in small batches. Make a decision about next week's module. Drink more water.
Decide if I want to make a trip to Cabela's. I would like a pair of boots where the lower part is rubberized. R had no problems w/ the second vaccine. He said that he cannot count the injection site beingsore when he put weight in it. I have to agree.

Good morning, June - Ann - Becky - Audrey - Cathy - Bee - LaDonna - Susi - Pam - and AWL!
Prayers continue for you and your loved ones, and thank you for your prayers for me and mine...
Extra prayers for any in the path of fire and storm(s)... and for those who need extra helpings of divine intervention at this time... and a few extra for all students whether IRL, virtual, or hybrid... and for those who mourn... and for peace in our nation.
💞🐵🙈🐵🙉🐵🙊🐵💞
My wish for Tuesday (as posted on another thread): "A milder, melt-y day is forecast. Let's see if I can keep MY day mild... and productive... and not melt-y (or is it melt-down-y)."
My yesterday was mild and productive, but definitely touched by others' meltdowns. HOW did I know that the day would slide sideways fairly early with a fiasco is not yet resolved? <meh>. And of course, the fiasco puts a delay on other things that I need to get done. Fortunately, I built in a cushion and I'm not out of time yet.
Today? Temp-wise, it will be melt-y again (high 40*s). I have things to get done, both in and outside the house. And then there's a 4:30 PM Zoom about the fiasco.
Dinner will be the rotisserie chicken that didn't happen yesterday (I made pot roast instead).
It's time for coffee... ☕️☕️☕️... and morning prayers...
💖💐💝💐💖💐💝💐💖💐💝💐💖💐💝 Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! 💖💐💝💐💖💐💝💐💖💐💝💐💖💐💝
Avatar is three pics (THREE!) posted on our mayor's FB page: "Thank you to the North Jersey Young Marines and their amazing donation of over 240 pounds of non-perishable food for the 214 Have-A-Heart Challenge."

LaDonna - Sending extra prayers for Sylvia June - Hope you get the early submissions and can decide about next week's module. Happy shopping! Becky - Love the hair! Audrey - I did know JT was a heroin addict. Hope you enjoyed the class. Hope the dogs enjoy their pampering and all goes well at the dermatologist. Ann Enjoy your spring like weather. Cathy - Sorry your post poofed. Portion control can really help. MJ - Hope you can get the fiasco behind you. Hair appointment went fairly quick. I was out of there at 7:15 which is pretty much a record. She kept working while she was talking. :-) I took Lily on a shortened walk when I got home. WI was 3 below goal, which is my comfort zone. That's it for me. For those who were asking about my sister: Carol's foot is healing so she can take the boot off when she is just relaxing at home. Then in 2 weeks she can transition to a sneaker starting 1 hour a day and increasing another hour each day. She also has arthritis in her hips and knees. He gave her a med to take and ordered PT for 6 weeks to figure out the best exercises to help her. Then likely gel shots for her knees which are pretty much bone on bone. And at some point she will need to get the shoulder replacement. This getting old stuff ain't for sissies!

Yeah to being below goal Susi. That's a great feeling. Glad hair appointment was quick and you got to walk Lily.
Keeping DS in my prayers.
I've been trying to get into a site to schedule vaccine appointments for Carl and me. So far it's not happening. I think I'd have better luck getting a trip planned to Pluto!!!! Oh well, better luck tomorrow. My nerves can only handle trying once a day. Our town is working with 2 local hospitals to have a station set up at our senior center. That may be our best bet.

The sun was overtaken by clouds almost the minute it rose. LOL
PT came and she asked me to walk without holding on. I did about 16 steps, kind of scary, but is productive.
My cousin sends me lots of devotionals.
In the Mornings With Jesus for January 5th, Grace Fox who wrote the devotional told the story about her mother.
She said each morning when her mother woke up, she'd say, "Good morning, Lord. what wonderful things do you have planned for us today?"
This really struck me so I'm sharing it with all.

Mj Sending you an "hang in there" to cover the fiasco along with an "atta girl" for planning a buffer. Sending some positive energy and prayers because sidewise causes frayed nerves.
Can you sit in a sunbeam for a bit?
Great that you can switch to an easy leash rotissierre chicken today.
Susi Super WI. During the pandemic, I think that 3 lbs is an even greater achievement. Nice to leave the salon early enough for an evening walk w/ Lily.
Happy that Carol is recovering and has a clear path ahead.
Ann From what I read, the support system and availibilty of vaccinations will be improving. It's a frustrating situation. Locally, hospitals seemed to be the best and fastest way to schedule. I wish that was so in MA. (My SIL was able to schedule with the local hospital. They had several locations and scheduled every day. She had aSunday appointment).
Okey dokey
We are in the 50s and the sun is shining. I will take that! The rain is supposed to come in the evenig. So clear skies, sun, and darn balmy tempt.
I have graded all the early submissions in the pipeline. Now it is time to decide whether we should take a drive.
