That is beautiful, Bee. Thank you for sharing. Great job on walking unaided. Yes I can imagine how scary that was. Good job and prayers continue. June Carl has finally signed us up to get the vaccine 'when it becomes available' I won't hold my breath waiting. When it comes it comes. He stuck with it as our good Lord has blessed him with much more patience than He did me Now I am going to put all this out of my head until it happens. We are also enjoying nice weather. In a bit we'll leave for that walk then the trip to Walmart then it's RELAXATION for this chick lol. Hugs and prayers to all!

June, a friend from high school posted yesterday she was depressed and I sent her the You Tube link for You've Got a Friend. Actually several of Taylor's and King's songs are uplifting.
Bee, congratulations on those 16 steps.
June, I am glad R has no side effects from the vaccine. Our children and their spouses were able to get shots. Rob was the very last on the schedule and there were two doses left so two lucky drivers not on the list were able to get them. There is a real effort to make sure nothing goes to waste.
MJ, you cannot let others' meltdowns affect you. I know how hard that is but sometimes you have to step aside.
The girls are at the groomers and I have to leave for my dermatology appointment.

Lunch at my desk again. Nothing really new to tell. I need a pedicure and may try and get one after work one day this week. Becky, I agree with others that is a great color for you and such a great pic. You do not look like you just weathered a major storm! LOL on the mullet. The hair stylist you ended up with did a great job. I hope you are able to get your errands done. How is Texas doing post the storm? Ann, I hope you are able to get your vaccine soon. Glad you slept well and seem to be feeling better I hope? 38 is definitely better than what you have dealt with...enjoy! Hope Walmart has what u need and is not crowded. Audrey, Its 70 today here too and just beautiful! I'd love to be home in my yard. Love that you sent the Youtube James Taylor song to your friend who was feeling down. Good luck at your appt. Cathy, Its so frustrating to put time and effort into a post and lose it. Been there. Portion sizes may do the trick. June, hope you get more early submissions! I say go for the new boots MJ, you are a lot like me when it comes to food planning. I often have a plan and revise based on how I am feeling in the moment LOL Don't let others steal your joy Susi, wow Carol has a lot going on. Sending up extra prayers for her. Good deal on the hair appt. Bee, thanks so much for the inspiring quote. Beautiful. Great job on the 16 steps.

Audrey good luck at your dermatologist appointment. Yes those are uplifting songs. Nice of you to send those off to your friend. LaDonna hope you get your pedicure in. Mine is scheduled already for March 12th and so looking forward to it We do love our pampering. Yes our Walmart wasn't crowded at all. We were in and out of there in record time. Gotta love that. After an afternoon coffee we'll take miss LuLa for another walk. I hate to waste this wonderful weather. Messy walking but that I can deal with!

Ann Messy sidewalks are so much better than slippery ones. It was a beautiful day here, too. Am glad that Carl could get you on a list! We really will start to see more availibity soon. in our area we are gearing up for increased service to match that availibility. Audrey Music can be very uplifting. Good of you to share that idea w/ your friend. Hope it helps. This has been a very tough time for many. We didn't pt headto Cabelas b/c the pack boots were only medium width. Went for a country ride & picked up a few items at the grocery store.
LaDonna Nice to think of you'll enjoying a beautiful spring day. A pedicure would be a nice treat for you! Our 50s w/ sunshine was a real gift. Every bit of ice on our cement pad is gone.

Thanks Ann. He came and fixed one leak. We do have a leak at the pump so he has gone to Elgin to see if he can find some fittings for it so no water yet. Thanks for the compliment on my top.
Audrey You are always so busy. I hope your dermatology appointment went well.
Cathy Yea on DH getting an appointment for vaccine.
June Thank you. I was very impressed with the "new to me" stylist. I am still praying to be able to shower tonight. Happy R is doing fine after second vaccine.
MJ I'm hoping the fiasco gets resolved soon.
Ann Weather is indeed relative...38 would still be considered cold here. We had a high of 82 but won't get out of the 50's tomorrow. I'm so glad I never put seasonal clothes away.
Susi Thanks. The stylist did a great job. I hope you are happy with your hair. Glad she got you out of there in record time. WTG on staying in your comfort zone. Always nice to have a cushion. I am glad Carol is progressing. Continued prayers for her. No getting old isn't for sissies.

Ann We have been on a waiting list for the vaccine for over 2 months. I'm glad I didn't hold my breath.
Bee I know that felt scary but WTG on 16 steps. Baby steps remember. Thanks for sharing the devotional. I like that one. If I walk in the morning the first thing I say is Good morning Lord. Thank you for another beautiful day even if it's cloudy and humid. Every day is beautiful if you decide it will be.
LaDonna Thanks for the compliment. I have learned a lot in the past week. God is still in control and I can't do anything to change a situation. Different areas are doing better than others. We have everything back besides running water and that may still come today. Any power outages in the state are from falling trees on power lines.
June Texas is still way behind on getting vaccines out. This weekend they are going to test a mass distribution site but we don't drive in Austin anymore. Teachers are a priority and the those 65 and older.

LaDonna, no news is good news. I got out of the dermatologist office exactly when the girls were ready at the groomers. I picked up Peggy and we were home before noon. I had lunch at home and then took my first trip to Aldi. A friend sent a suggestion list from hungry girl but some of the suggestions had too many fats or carbs for me. I thought a very nice produce, cheese, a cauliflower dip, kalamata olives, a few bottles of wine, a whole chicken for 79 cents a pound, a few bottles of wine and snacks for Bob to take to the coast. We are gone March 8 to 15. Restrictions are the same as they were in October but may change next week. After Aldi I bought chocolate bunnies at Sees for the grandkids and then went to the dollar store for Easter items. I will make bags for the children in Nora’s class

Wow Becky that's a huge jump in your weather. Praying your handyman finds the part he needs.
I also hear you on traveling to get the vaccine. I shall wait until it becomes available in our vacinity. There is no way on God's green earth that I will travel into Boston. Too much of a hassle getting to and from.
I'll roll the dice and take my chances while praying for results 🤗🙏

Becky, all of our local legislators including city council, supervisors, Congressmen wrote letters and called Gavin Newsom and President Biden. It is actually made a difference because all of a sudden we’re getting twice as much vaccine as we had the first few weeks. A huge FEMA site was supposed to open at Fresno State but that has not happened but vaccine has been distributed to several places in the county and a lot more people are getting their shots finally. Who’s first? 65 and older, educators, farm workers and now truck drivers. Unions are pushing the Democratic leaders for their members to get their shots. Then there are the vaccines for people of color who tend not to be near the sites were they are distributed. Some states are doing it simply by tiers of each in our method is rather complicated but it’s longest lots of people get their vaccines I guess that’s all that counts.

Ann Can understand why you would avoid Boston. Hope that you slept well.
Audrey What a difference a year can make in confronting the virus. Am hopeful that the J & J vaccine will be approved. Hope you have fun making up the goody bags. That is very thoughtful of you.
Becky Can understand that you would prefer a local vaccine site over Austin. Glad that there are more vaccines ordered and the promise of a one-sot vaccine.

Thursday's goals Give gratitude. LOL. . . this is not the day for my second Moderna shot. I made a mistake thinking that I was on the schedule asRichard who rec'd Pfizer.. Am very grateful that I could dash to the fairgrounds and keep a dose from being wasted. A win-win Am grateful that the vaccine distribution has been steadily improving over the last month.
Waving hi to Mj, Susi, LaDonna, Bee, and thinking ofPam. Will check back later.
