This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here!

Good morning friends! Just popping in to get us started. I've been up for a while, so a nap could possibly happen later. It's my first night of sketchy sleep in a good while, so I'm not going to complain. On the upside, here it is 430am and I already have a load of laundry going, so it might end up being a productive day. I'm thinking about maybe painting some this afternoon. It's been a little bit since I've done that as well. Sending out good Wednesday mojo for all! BBL

Good morning, Lora, I thought of you yesterday when I went to DG. I came out with something floral, little, and fun for my mantel. Maybe last night of interrupted sleep was an outlier, and tonight you'll be back at it. I am going back on broth today... I woke up to a lot of tenderness again. I hope everyone has a great day!

Jill - Oh no! So sorry to hear you're hurting again. Hoping it passes quickly. Yes, I'm also hoping that the sleep situation is just one of those things. For the moment I feel fine, but I know later I'll probably be feeling a little droopy. I haven't been to DG in a while. I should go soon.

Lora, sounds like you and my DH woke at the same time today. He has something on his phone tracking his sleep, and I think that is the kind of thing that gives people insomnia. He has a stomach ache too, so is working from home. I can certainly understand how you could have grocery shopping after working in the industry for so long. That is one chore I really don't mind.
Jill, sorry your stomach is bothering you again. Mine has been OK, but still having that ultrasound tomorrow. Great that you had a good dinner and fun with your MDS. Did you ever look into NAMI?
Nice sunny day here and the snow is finally melting, which means the dog wants to pull me onto the grass spots for what he needs to do, and what I need to clean up. Got to get running to work. Always plenty to do and sometimes the day gets away from me.

Hello Everyone...guess I missed yesterday. I had a zoom book club on Monday and another book club zoom on Tuesday. Now I have 2 new books to get busy reading ("A Woman is No Man" by Etaf Rum AND "Woman on the Edge" by Samantha Bailey). I hope to start one of them today. So far this week, I have gotten to my outdoor ex class on Mon, Tues, AND today - wow. I am on the schedule for tomorrow and Friday too - feast or famine, huh ----after all the cancellations due to the weather the past several weeks. I also got to play mah jongg OUTSIDE with MASKS today - wow.... it has been a L O N G time since we have played and it was WONDERFUL to see the sunshine and Go For It!
Jana - hope all went well yesterday...man, Pops' schedule is really keeping you busy...you are a wonderful daughter but that doesn't help the added stress on you...thinking of you!
Lora - love the idea of making your own detergent tabs - I will let my DD know about this !! I remember when you couldn't shop at Kroger because they would always way-lay you! Hope you get a nap today.
Jill - sorry to hear you are not feeling well again....loved the idea of the candy sayings to help the kiddos! So glad you had another great dinner with MDS
RobinS - hope all goes well with the ultrsound tomorrow. I love that I was able to get outside in the SUN today!
Waving to Janet and RobinMD - I'm sure you will be by later

Susie, I read A Woman is No Man, and excellent book, but a difficult read. I have not heard of the other one. It was warm here today during the day too, but now that I am home and went to walk the dog it was very windy, so didn't feel very warm at all.

Happy Hump Day!
It was my wfh day but sadly, it is my last for a while. One of the staff at work has quit, so it screwed everyone because we are so short handed. The girl who is still out for her cancer treatment (she is doing well and is supposed to be back March 17th) is still wfh, so she will run my doctors on Wednesdays and I am going back in to the office. On the positive side, I will be working with my old provider and friend, so she is VERY happy and I am not as disappointed as I would have been!
Susie, so glad you got to enjoy the day.... I took the dogs out in the field during lunch. There was not a cloud in the sky and the temps were in the 50 to 55 range. This is the stuff that REALLY makes me long for spring and better weather! It is just around the corner.
Robin, lots of my snow has melted, but I still have a LOT in the shady areas. I hope your ultrasound comes back with some answers and/or a normal result.
Jill, I sure hope your tenderness settles down. Frustrating that it is still hanging around!
Lora, I really hope you have a good night's sleep tonight! But getting some stuff done early is a good thing... did you get a little painting done?
I am making a pork tenderloin tonight. I only made one that is a little over one lb. but it will still give me some leftovers. I used to always double the amount of meat and sauce, but that just lasts me too long these days. I make a baste/sauce with soy sauce, cinnamon, ginger, dry mustard, a little sugar, and some sherry...it is so good. My mom got this recipe when I was in 7th grade, and it has been my go to for many years. I need to feed the dogs and get some things ready for work tomorrow. I hope everyone has a good evening, and sleeps well tonight! Waving to all,
RobinMD

Hi Everyone, I didnt get here yesterday. I have been working on the never ending binder. I told our director that I wouldn't have the second section by Friday. No way plus I have extended care in the afternoon tommorow. My non partner did help me some yesterday while driving me nuts at the same time. I am seeing a little light at the end of the tunnel as the second section is coming along at least. I got more film from our director and my partner looked at some pictures she had stored on our computer. She had another storage card that had more space on it and was able to transfer the newer pictures as well as the older ones. I tried to take pictures off the other night but it wasnt working. Today she was asked to help the other teacher. I hope this is not going to be a daily thing even tho she does drive me nuts. [br Jill, sorry that you were feeling tender again. Can you think of anything within the last day or so that might be the culprit? It seems like you were improving up until now. Jill, how is your doggie doing? Lora, sorry you were up so early.
Robin Md, sorry you wont be able to work from home for now but glad that you can work with your provider and friend. Have a restful night!
