Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
My vaccine is scheduled for 10am today. I’ll let you know which one I get.
Making cupcakes today for one of the detainers birthday. He’s the one that I have detail my car. Sweet guy, very polite. We have a monthly birthday board. He was kidding around with me a few weeks ago and asked me what I was getting him for his birthday. I asked him what he wanted, he said cupcakes. Easy to do,

Home from Walgreens. I got the Pfizer vaccine. Waited the 15 minutes since I don’t usually get vaccines. Next one is scheduled for 3/24. It feels great to have one in. They were very organized. I felt bad for a couple of seniors that were hoping to schedule in-store. They don’t have computers and I guess the phone access scheduler is not easy to use. I actually checked my phone to see if there were appointments available, I would have helped them, but they were all booked.
Made cupcakes already, will frost them around noon, they’ll be cool enough then.

Good morning. Woke (late) to beautiful sunshine! 30’s outside! Did not sleep well because Stan did not sleep well. So glad he’s talking to his doctor soon!
Joy, so glad you got your shot. It’s so sad that those people can’t get a shot. There needs to be a more equitable system for getting people signed up. It shouldn’t come down to who you know, or staying online or on the phone day and night to get in line! Hope you have no problems with it. Pfizer is what we both got also.

Dottie, loved the pictures of your new flooring. That is gorgeous! Bet you are loving it already! The continuity is great! Now you can move on to other things.
I have a massage at 1:30. I need to get busy and get going with some cleaning before it’s time to leave. And eat lunch. I have been in a funk energy wise and just not getting things cleaned up like I’d like to. I need to get myself going. On our old WW community threads, we had a group called Just Girlfriends. We supported each other and stayed together on FB. A couple of us (hockey fans) were chatting late night a couple nights ago, and we decided to get back to our WW roots. 3/4 of us are WW members (a couple re-joined when we put up the thread) and others are doing other things but like the idea of checking in daily and being accountable to each other. I start a new thread each night and everyone comments. Right now I’m asking a question of the day: (1) what is a red light food you cannot have in the house; (2) which color WW program are you going to do, or what other program/diet are you doing? It’s been fun so far! Hoping it makes me more accountable! Something has to!!!

Joyce, that is great that you were able to get your vaccine. My ODS is having a hard time getting scheduled for her vaccine. YDS is helping but so far nothing. ODS is on 6 waiting list but both DSs have heard that people should keep checking. Cupcakes are a good choice now for the birthday celebration.

Ruth, I think your new group sounds a good way to stay on track. My trigger food is chocolate and I really shouldn’t have it in the house. Enjoy your massage.
I still need to do a good steam cleaning of all of my floors but Bill is in the middle of a project and what he does is usually nice but he isn’t very neat. He has tools all over my kitchen counters. We are having 2 couples in on Friday night for cards so I told him by Friday morning he has to be done and put his tools away or I will put them away for him and he might never find them again. He does this all the time when working on a project, slow and messy and expecting me to do the cleanup. Sorry for the rant but I just want the mess cleaned up and my counters not used for tools. I haven’t seen the message from pro-boards about paying. Where was it?

Spent some time soaking up Vit D outside. Oops, lunch break is over. Had to stop in tho.  (((hugs))) ps - feeling much better. I think it was leftovers that were leftover too long in refrig. Work - busy, busy, busy! Still working from home. Unless needed for special project in the office, I'll be homebound. TTFN |
