Hi Lin. glad to see Owls here. I did miss it.. You sure tire me out just reading all the things you do in a day. I'm lucky to get my daily chores done and laundry.
Did get my errands done. Library to pick up a reserved book A Promised Land by Barack Obama. Just started it. Fleet Farm to stock up on laundry soap, dish soap, TP and M&Ms. The drug store to pick up meds which weren't all ready, naturally and the bird seed place. Did go out for lunch after all of that. Neat place with yummy chicken wings.
Got my laundry finished this afternoon and walked Ozzie twice. Very nice day, snow melting and ice is all gone at the end of our driveway.
Tomorrow we're meeting friends for breakfast. Have a good night.

Ever heard of this? Supposedly the three days foretell the next three month's weather.
“What Are Ember Days?
The name is derived from the Latin quattuor tempora, meaning “Four Times” or “Four Seasons.”
The specific themes for each Ember Week of the year are as follows:
Spring: the Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday after Ash Wednesday, to give thanks for the rebirth of nature and for the gift of light (usually flowers are offered at this time).
Summer: Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday after Pentecost, to give thanks for the wheat crop.
Fall: the Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday after the Feast of the Holy Cross (September 14), to give thanks for the grape harvest.
Winter: the Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday after the Feast of St. Lucy (December 13), during the third week of Advent, to give thanks for the olive crop.
The significance of the days of the week is that Wednesday was the day Christ was betrayed, Friday was the day He was crucified, and Saturday was the day He was entombed.
When Are Ember Days In 2021?
Lenten /Spring Ember Days – February 24, 26, 27
Summer Ember Days – May 26, 28, 29
Fall Ember Days: September 15, 17, and 18
Advent Ember Days: December 15, 17, and 18
Ember Days Folklore
According to folklore, the weather conditions of each of the three days of an Embertide foretells the weather conditions for the following three months.
The Farmers’ Almanac has long carried the Ember Days in each of our editions. “

My first Covid shot next Tuesday. Hope Dave is picked soon. MN runs like a lottery, names in a hat and those drawn out can make appt.
All the usual precautions. Masks until we get to our table. Tables are spaced so no one is closer than 6 feet and amount of people restricted to 50% capacity. I never go into a public bathroom unless it's an emergency. Hand sanitizer used as soon as I sit down. Kind of a process but worth it to see friends.
