Thanks for the start June and great goals.
Tomorrow I shall PTMH and house clean. Carl is going to have our car serviced tires rotated oil change and all that jazz. LuLa and I will keep ourselves amused.

I will continue to PTMH. We need to make a small grocery run but thankfully don't have to buy any water. Our water has been restored and I enjoyed a long hot shower.

I will have a more normal slower day. I will walk before breakfast and PTMH. After breakfast I will help Leo until noon and get Nora's new packet of learning materials at her school if she has one. On the way home I will stop at the bank, the one errand I didn't do yesterday. I also walked under 5000 steps yesterday skipping an early walk to get the dogs to the groomer at 8 a.m.

Enjoy your slower day, Audrey.
Becky I bet you are pleased the handyman fixed the leak. That shower must have felt like winning the lottery.

Good morning, June - Ann - Becky - Audrey - Bee - Cathy - LaDonna - Susi - Pam - and AWL!
Prayers continue for you and your loved ones, and thank you for your prayers for me and mine...
Extra prayers for any in the path of fire and storm(s)... and for those who need extra helpings of divine intervention at this time... and a few extra for all students whether IRL, virtual, or hybrid... and for those who mourn... and for peace in our nation.

It's been a melt-y week! <YAAAY!!!> <YIPPEE!!!> Temps are mild and snow's melting away. And since we opted out of a lot of shoveling-every-inch-just-to-say-we-did-it (thereby saving the old folks' backs) we are delighted to report that the back end of the driveway is looking GOOD and we'll have no problem getting the garbage cans out this week. These are 95-gallon rolling cans for automated pickup (those claws on the trucks) so we had plenty of room for a couple of weeks' worth of garbage and commingled recycle.
The meltdown (which had to do with the YM encampment on March 6-7) was resolved in a Zoom meeting that was not at 4:30 PM, as originally stated, but at 6:30 PM. Now the project can move on. Heaven knows, there's enough background work still to be done to get ready for Hay Day at the Farm.
Yesterday was also the Mouseketeer's birthday - he is 10 YEARS OLD (or, as I think of it, TWO hands-full). It was an asynchronous-learning day so they had time to bake and deliver cupcakes to us and to Son#1's house. And Toots & I FaceTimed with him and played/sang "Happy Birthday". No gathering but a lot of "special" in the day.
Today? I've got a newsletter to prepare and some lists to make. And a sunbeam that's just calling my name. Dinner may be Italian take-away.
Coffee... βοΈβοΈβοΈ... <aaahhh>...
πππππππππππππππ Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! πππππππππππππππ
medUPDATE on Jeanne & Neal: Neal needs a negative test before he can return to his office; the one he got yesterday was still positive. His eyes are almost back to normal. Jeanne is doing better but is nowhere near 100%. However, she has not said "no" about resuming her child care routine with two grands beginning next Thursday. So MissMouse & Spouse think that she will cave in although they are of the opinion that she should take more time to recover.

I will track, hydrate, stay positive...not sure about the exercise. Nothing really to report.
Not sure if I mentioned this or not. If I did...skip over it. There was a big kerfuffle the other day because it came out that the politicians, president of the country's wife and her aids were all given preferential treatment for vaccination. The parliament members had the vaccine brought to them in the parliament building, had photographers and the Red Cross to witness it, etc. Anyway, there was a deal with donors of funding to Lebanon for the vaccine that there would be no cronyism/wasta and by doing what was done the donors could remove funding impacting...not the powerful but the laymen. It was...not nice. Not surprising but...not nice. Glad they were called out for it. Some did apologize while others said they did nothing wrong.
JUNE: Hope your submissions stagger in making grading easier. Did you go out for a drive?
MJ: Love the avatar update.
ANN: Need to record lunch...put it into the pan and thought it was okay on the blue plan BUT on the other plan it might be pointy I bet you are eager for spring! You made me laugh with it being easier to plan a trip to Pluto than figure out the scheduling of vaccination.
SUSI: That is a lot going on with your sister...hope she does okay with the parts that are causing difficulty and easy solutions can be found. Am sure Lily enjoyed her walk even if it was later and shorter than usual.
BEE: It is a good idea to welcome and embrace the day! Thank you for sharing.
AUDREY: So glad your children and their spouses were able to be vaccinated! I would LOVE to go grocery shopping BUT don't trust the people here, won't go to a big supermarket, and to go out and about requires requesting a permit so...don't do it unless we need to. Will get one for the vaccination appointment on Monday.
LADONNA: Do you have a fridge, microwave, etc at work to help with the lunch or is it old school like taking lunch to school and keeping it in a lunch box to eat when you can?
BECKY: You look spiffy with the new haircut, pretty top and jewelry on! It must feel marvelous!

June, I am aiming to drink more water also.
Becky, glad you got a long, hot shower. My DD lost power during the storm, then when it came back on her hot water heater quit working. I know she is enjoying a hot shower this morning.
Audrey, sounds like a fun day. Enjoy.
MJ, congrats to the MouseKeteer reaching 10! Glad your meltdown is resolved.
I am bad about not labeling stuff I stick in the freezer. Today's goal is to identify or toss.
Waving to LaDonna, Cathy, Susi and Pam!

Cathy happy I gave you a laugh. I just hope they get their 'act together' and soon. I'd like that vaccination before my appointment with the eye specialist in June. We shall see. Such upheaval in government shouldn't happen. Bee happy 'figuring out' what you have frozen. I learned that lesson years ago. Now when I seal I write what it is on the package. I also try to keep certain foods together...they remain that way until Carl gets in there!!!! Nuff said My day is all planned and tracked. Will CBL

June - 3 squares are a good plan and my goal most days. Carl really stays on top of things. Enjoy the housework with Lula Becky - Yay for running water again! I bet that shower felt amazing! Enjoy your slower day Audrey. You deserve it. Good to see you Pam Happy birthday to the Mouseketeer! 10 already! Glad the YM issue was resolved, if a bit late. Continued prayers for Jeanne and Neal Cathy - So much corruption and not just there. Hope you can fit some exercise it. It's so helpful Bee - I learned the hard way to label when I packaged and I still didn't label some of my soups so it's a surprise when I take one out. Like Ann, I try to group certain things together. Fish, ribs and veggies on the top shelf, chicken to the left, pork and lamb in the middle, beef to the right on the bottom. Soups and misc on the door. Nothing new is going on here. Cleaning company comes today so I go home to a nice clean house. Forecast for the weekend is lousy so I may go through the pantry and make sure nothing is outdated and perhaps better organize one or two shelves.
