Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Sun is shining, temps over 30*. Decided to go for a walk around the block. Felt great to get some fresh air.
Ruth - you can post the daily questions here if youād like. My red light food is definitely chocolate, and it doesnāt even have to be good chocolate. I bought some kisses before valentines thinking Iād enjoy a few pieces after dinner and the bag would last for a while.. nope, gone in 3 days. Iām on Blue when I track, but Iām not doing enough of that. 2 coworkers signed up for WW, one on Blue the other Green. We all decided if we didnāt do something we wouldnāt be able to fit in our capris this summer.
Dottie - floors look great. Had to laugh about youāre putting the tools away where Bill couldnāt find them - thatās something Iād do.
Martha - glad youāre feeling better. It does feel great to accomplish things early in the day.
Mike enjoyed the cupcakes, his dad (also works at the dealership) asked for cupcakes for his birthday in May. He said mind were the ābombā.
Just doing dome puttering today. My taxes are done, refund will cover cost of sump pump so Iāll schedule that in March.
Enjoy your day

I āthinkā, oh wait, I āKNOWā Iām not a happy camper. Got up early (for me) (7:00 am) headed to the lab for fasting blood draw for routine tests. 3 pokes, 2 arms, 2 lab techs; and I get to go back tomorrow and do it all over again! Even with drinking lots of water before I went, they got just a trickle of blood! Onward and upward!
Target curbside pickup; drop off some things at younger DDās house; and a trip to the post office to mail a couple packages.
Martha, so nice to see you early in the day!!! You got a lot accomplished early.
Joy, I can do that - post the questions here too! My answer was Ben & Jerryās Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream; chips; and M & M candies!!! If I have a bag of the small pieces (like your kisses) I can spread those out. Stan loves dark chocolate, I donāt like it at all. And I know itās supposed to be so good for us.
I looked yesterday and both our state and federal refunds were in the bank and had cleared. Now to transfer them to investments until we can do the flooring. Always good to have a project or something in mind so the $$ donāt get frittered away.
Wild are on a roll. 6-2 wins in both of their last 2 games. And Sharks just had to cancel games due to player(s) with Covid. I think players are getting it places other than hockey and then spreading it to their teammates. Wild have won last 4 in a row and are using a goalie called up from farm team in Iowa! #1 goalie out after offseason surgery; #2 goalie was injured and then had covid; so #3 call up is winning!! #2 goalie is back but riding the bench! Fun to see the team doing well for a change!
Waving hi to Dottie! Iāll bbl to check in! Have a good day all and stay safe!!!

Martha, Iām so glad you are feeling better. Even your post is so much āperkierā. Stay healthy. ((HUGS))
Joyce, glad that you got your taxes done. Nice that your cupcakes are good and very appreciated. Fresh air and sunshine is good for everyone.
Ruth, sorry to hear about the problems with getting your blood. Do they use the butterfly needle, it is supposed to be good for people who are hard to get blood from. Good luck tomorrow. Our state refund arrived today also. It will be used to help pay for the new flooring. Nice not to have to take all the money out of savings. Your hockey team seems to be doing great.
Busy morning, I got lots done and even got my exercises in. Ran to 4 different stores, 1 return, prescription at one and 2 other places. Now I plan on getting some reading in. Dinner is left overs so this will be an easy day for me. Yesterday I did see the message from pro-boards about paying for the boards. It appeared after I signed in.

Dottie, they did use butterfly needles, 3 of them! Itās the only kind I will let them use on me anymore! I learned that years ago! But thank you for mentioning it. If I hadnāt known, it maybe would have helped.
We did get packages mailed (the necklaces to my DN & her girls); dropped off 3 doz or so egg cartons at the local truck farm; did our Target parking lot pick up; ran to DDās and dropped off a few things; then stopped at Fresh Thyme on the way home. We love their Boom Boom Shrimp and were out and got some fruit for Mara being here this weekend too. Boom Boom shrimp for dinner tonight.
And I made up plastic bags with a variety of masks in them for each car. I have 2 cloth masks in the carsā glove boxes that are from our health care provider. But I wanted a variety of others, including disposable in case someone needed one. Last week when Stan took DS to get his car fixed, DS didnāt have a mask because his were in their other car since he hadnāt been driving his much. And he didnāt think to get one because he left with Stan in a hurry. Luckily I had 1 disposable one in the car and I have one in the car with the car seat for Mara. But I donāt have them for the other girls. And you never know when a stranger might need one in a pinch. I do carry a couple in my purse also. In case I forget one.
Trying to get all the yarn boxed up and a few other things done tonight before we get Mara tomorrow. I wonāt get a lot done with her here and this is stuff I donāt want her getting into.
More later!
