This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

GM Cats! I feel I should cut and paste my post from yesterday onto to todays thread. Not many cats were online yesterday, hoping you all were having fun. Me? I had to order a new headboard for my bed, as the one I ordered couldn't accommodate my higher mattress. If anyone happens to have the need for a headboard, might I suggest to go online to the big box retailer named wal___ and look at their options. They are inexpensive, and look good. Most prices were under $100. You could do a show at my house, decorating on a dime. Anyhow, I have the pink tufted one, a white sleek leather looking one, and a tailored one with contrast piping.
I didn't do well on the Blue Dot Challenge yesterday either. It started with dinner and went south from there. I knew better, I guess I just didn't want to do it. I will not let one high point day derail me. I will have to go back and track my points. I am sure I finished up my weeklies and went into my fit points. Which I haven't done so well with this week either! I didn't run yesterday as planned. I took the day off.
I could sit here and chat all day, putting off the TM. I better get to it before breakfast needs to be made.

G'day, Frieda, and any others who wander in. Yesterday was a full day, and I got to bed late again. I tracked throughout the whole week, including what felt like my uncountable Friday and Saturday evenings, and wound up in the red. I then had a discouraging post-evening-out WI this a.m. Two late evenings of entertaining in a row do not a pretty picture make, but like Frieda, I'm moving on. I have rebooted my day and I got my walk in. When the rings get loose again, I'll have a fairer assessment.
I'm back from dropping off DGF at the airport, and I have so many things to do, I can't decide what to tackle first. I made a light tuna salad with plenty of added veggies; that's counted. Tonight is roast-a-chicken night, decreasing my dependency on sodium-saturated deli slices.
It's quite nice here, not hot and humid, and a stiff breeze is gusting. I am tempted to go buy plants for the pots. The geraniums I picked up at Costco last weekend are doing well
Thinking of movers and shakers.

Good Afternoon, CATs!
Went to ww mtg/weigh in yesterday. It was ugly - up 2.4 lbs. Only ended up with one day of blue. So far, already matched that. Hoping for #2 today.
Had msg from DSis, DMom is being more social, going to dining room for meals. CNA caught her snacking one evening. Snicker, snicker from me. She is on medicine to increase her appetite as she has lost about 10 lbs.
Last night's dinner: Beef Stroganoff over egg noodles. From WW Comfort cookbook. 10 sp Tonight's dinner: Turkey Polska Kielbasa, hot dog bun, grilled onions and fries. 7 sp with out fries.
Tomorrow is the start of the CNA training. I haven't heard from anyone - phone or email. I'll show up and take it from there.
HUGS to all~
