In 3 weeks they'll be having to do a hard shut-down from all the stupidity and spring break.

And here in New Mexico it's bad news for us, especially those close to the border of Texas.

Well, we now have 16 states that are dropping restrictions.
Ohio is not one of them, the governor said we have to be at 50 cases per 100,000 for 2 weeks for him to lift restrictions. Last week we were at 178 per 100,000.

I'm glad my energy company said they won't do this, but it's probably still a possibility since ERCOT says providers owe them billions for the energy used during the freeze. Even Texans with fixed electricity plans may face high energy costs due to this feeMy company had this on their main page: "Rest assured you won’t see a rate increase for February usage in your next bill because of the winter storm. If you used more energy than normal to heat your home during the severe cold, you could see an increase in usage. Reliant’s residential fixed rate and month-to-month plans are not tied to real-time market prices, insulating our residential customers from wholesale power price swings."
