This is the easiest recipe EVER. I make a batch and store it in the fridge for a week. Hot healthy breakfast every morning. Add what you like... a pinch of salt, cinnamon, raisins, whatever ...
In a large 6qt pot add...
1-1/2 Cups Steel cut oats 6 Cups water
Cover with the lid ajar (I use a small binder clip) Bring to a boil over high fire (6 minutes) Put on a very low fire and simmer for 25ish minutes
Let sit until cool (or eat), Place in a large covered bowl and store in the refrigerator. Scoop out a cup and microwave until warm to your liking.
