Good Morning Challengers!
Yesterday I did all 6 of my main HHs, stayed in my 💚 zone of pts.
My “KISS” HHs (Keep it Simple and Specific) - Avoid salted snacks: 💚 - JGTB: 💚
2 microhabits: - “50 pushaways”: 💚 - “No seconds with snack”: 💚
Yesterday we walked 2 mi in am. I’ve been busy with work, house stuff and prepping for my Sis visit beginning Fri.
KELLY - GFY with the OP day and 3 mi. Yes it’s often strange how a death in the family ends up either bringing people closer or separating them further.
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

WEDNESDAY! KELLY -- Isn't it nice when the kids grow up and do the right thing? Again, good job OP and walking and tracking! CONNIE -- Our (my) historical marker project started a few years ago. I printed off a list from the state historical society, and I just highlight the ones we find. Of course, now there's an app that helps us find them, but I don't think there's a way to check them off, so we keep my notebook . We love the back roads and have many stories to tell! Now we're a little hampered because we drive electric cars, and in a state like ours there's a lot to see off the beaten path! We just need to work out how to get to the really remote markers and back. I like the way of framing that you suggested -- thanks! CAIT -- Good comeback after your slip. At least one not-so-great day doesn't derail you completely! Glad you enjoyed your family time. Yesterday and today I went to the other pool for water aerobics. The instructor yesterday was okay, but I liked the one today better. A big drawback in that pool is the terrible acoustics! I need to stay in the shallow end, so it's really hard to hear the instructor. Today, though, the regulars in the shallow end were just passing instructions along. Nice! Counting 4 miles for yesterday and today, and I just finished stretching. 273.75/250 miles 71/75 stretching Stretching: 2018:141;2019:192; 2020:182 2021: Jan.15; February:13; March 16; April: 12/30

Good Morning!!! Today is my Friday!!
I stayed OP yesterday, tracked and added 2 miles. I will be in a training all day today and have to travel 45 minutes to get there. Morning commute won't bee too bad but the 5 pm commute home will not be fun.
Off tomorrow to get some errands done I normally do on Saturday. Church is having a Men's Conference Friday night and Saturday. I am helping mid Saturday Morning and in the afternoon. Then we are having a special service with the Pastor that is speaking at the Conference.
Carol: Yes, I am glad he decided to come back and help. He is very responsible but does have his own life and responsibilities.
Great job on your water workout.
Cait: Great job on your good day and miles. She did not die, but is a nursing home to stay. It is kind of like a death in these times since the visiting is limited and you can't take them out of the home yet for dinner or family functions. I do find that al ittle ridiculous, especially since the staff comes and goes daily. She is also vaccinated.
Waving to all!! Happy Walking!!

Good Morning Challengers! Yesterday I did 2/6 of my main HHs, ate above my red zone of pts but I did stop and JGTB at 11. My “KISS” HHs (Keep it Simple and Specific) - Avoid salted snacks: N - JGTB: 💚 2 microhabits: - “50 pushaways”: N - “No seconds with snack”: N Yesterday we walked 2 mi in am. I’ve been checking in online and by phone all week for jury duty. If you don’t get called in all week then you’re “done,” but last night it said I have to report for jury duty this afternoon. So I’m rearranging priorities and trying to adjust to this monkey wrench tossed into my plans. My Sis arrives tomorrow. Work and house stuff and prep to do. “Accept the things I cannot change, change the things I can...” I found this good article in my WW Daily email - filling foods for when you’re actually hungry. www.weightwatchers.com/us/m/cms/blog/food/filling-foods-weight-loss-journeyBe well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other. THURSDAY!
KELLY -- another excellent day for you! I am sure you'll get some walking in running your errands. Have a great, long "weekend!"
CAIT -- I need to be available for jury duty, too, starting May 3! I've only been called up once before, and after I filled in the online info I never heard a word from them. Maybe this time will be different. A friend who lives in Seattle just finished jury duty for a 3-week trial, all via Zoom! I think it would be hard for me to concentrate. I checked with my attorney neighbor, and she said all the district court trials are in person now, so at least I won't have to Zoom for three weeks! Is yours in person or virtual?
No miles for me today. I had lunch with my sister, worked a little in the yard, and I just finished stretching.

Yesterday no am walk - trying to get house stuff done before Sis arrives today, and family coming over Saturday. I walked at the courthouse 1.3 mi, to and from the parking structure, and walking around in the building during a break, and we walked .4 mi to get dinner takeout, so 1.7 mi for the day. Coming down the escalator in the courthouse I fell, but I think I’m ok, just a little sore.
Back to jury duty today. The judge said probably almost everyone we know will get a jury summons soon because there are so many cases backlogged due to Covid.
KELLY - GFY OP and 2 mi. Oh I got the MILs mixed up - another friend’s MIL died. Yes it’s hard to deal with all the restrictions but I see the need to keep the peer pressure for compliance and awareness of the risks. And the more comings and goings, the greater the risk 😕
CAROL - GFY stretching. The jury duty I’m on is at a local courthouse just a few miles away. It’s a two -three week trial. It would be very hard for me for getting work obligations done, and financially because I’m self-employed but it’s hard for everyone, and most people are in harder circumstances than I am. The judge made it very clear that this is a patriotic duty. To each person who wanted to be excused, she asked “Why are you not able to serve your country?” Your day sounds nice, time with Sis and in the yard
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

You ladies are doing GREAT ! Ok, I got out yesterday for 2 miles. I can't believe my last walk was on March 19th. Not kicking myself as I know it was all necessary. On to the next. Working on rentals again today so I doubt I will get in any miles but at least it's movement.
108 miles on the John Muir Trail. Have a great day !

for my bones I am eating 3.75 cups of Dannon nonfat plain yogurt with some stevia. Then I am eating broccoli 5 cups frozen steamed. Then I am 2 high fiber packets of Quaker oatmeal for breakfast. Then I am eating 2.5 cups of unsweetened applesauce. o get 5 meals after my breakfast with 3 courses. Broccoli then yogurt then applesauce. I spoke to to my bone doctor's nurse who prescribed 4 tums a day prior. Now I will get 1600mg from yogurt and 150 from broccoli. 1760 w3hichemy bone doctor thinks is good. I have a real problem of not having enough calcium. I steam the frozen broccoli in a microwave steamer. i want to start the treadmill at 1.6 mph by spring. I weighed 204 this morning. I would like to lose 54 pounds more. I believe what I am eating is healthy. I am a lacto-vegetarian made necessary to get enough calcium and eat healthy foods non fat.

Yesterday we walked 2 mi. I also walked a mile or so with Sis along the bluff above the beach but we were ambling so I’m not counting it as exercise.
I finished jury duty, yay! I am not one of the “chosen people.” Back to our regularly scheduled stress.

SATURDAY!
CAIT -- "Regularly scheduled stress" is a very apt term! Good job getting back to your HHs! Your amble with your sister sounds so nice!
CONNIE -- GFY staying off that foot so it could mend. Good job!
I went for a ride yesterday with my sister, but before that I went to water aerobics and caught up with a friend. It was nice to see her, but I don't think I'll make it a habit. Checking in once in a while with the "yakkers" is enough! I'm counting 2 miles for that.
We ran errands this morning, and I just finished stretching.

Good morning. As I suspected we worked on the rental from 8-4 so no walking in. Today. Carol: You can't count 2 miles for listening to someone yack Amy: Glad you are keeping those bones healthy. Where are you at with the walking every day? Cait: 2 miles is 2 miles. I would count it. Congratulations for being off of the Jury. I NEVER want to do that again. Have a great day !

Yesterday DD1 and DD2 and their DHs and the DGDs came over for lunch and to spend time with my Sis who is visiting from MS. One person had concerns because Sis had flown from out of state so we stayed outdoors and wore masks. It was a really pleasant day. My post-event eating syndrome kicked in and I ate leftover chips and pastries, decompressing from the excitement.
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.
