And then I get buffeted around by all the health guru claims. Eat starches and not meat! Meat will not hurt you in Paleo land! Meat is bad for you and destroys the environment! This, that and the other thing cause inflammation. These foods reduce inflammation. Alkaline diets are best! There is no clinical evidence that alkaline diets are effective. Makes your head spin.

I think that the point that the food industry guiding a lot of the nutrition is interesting. For me, decreasing my sugar consumption, has made quite a change for me re weight. I do eat less beef but it is still my favorite protein!
