The solar maintenance guy came, did something, and now we have hot water again SO there will be a shower or bath sometime today or tonight, I think.
We have leftover chicken to use up...chicken salad, stir fry, with bulgur and vinegar...something!
CHERRY: It sounds nice to walk outside!
BEVERLY: My sister was told to do BLUE. I think the purple has the most free foods but the least points to play with. I sometimes think that purple would be nicer since whole wheat pasta and some grains are free. I am doing Blue and it is in between...keep us posted on how you are doing!
LYNN: Nosebleeds can be scary! My daughter had a few bad ones when younger. Are your husband's related to hypertension or??? Green seems the hardest of the programs though you do have the most points.

Hi all!
Cathy, DH does have hypertension, but the doctor seemed to think he should see an ENT, which he hasn't done yet. His BP has always been under control when he was at the drs. And yes, the green is more restrictive, but sometimes I need that.
DH left for his camping trip and will leave the office at one to head up to the Delaware Water Gap where the house is located. I'm free until he comes back on Sunday. I have a few classes booked online for today and tomorrow, so they will keep me busy. My next one is at 11:30 on password managers and then at 3:30 on Ancient ruins. I think I double booked one at the same time, I have to check.
Have a great day all...Cathy enjoy the hit shower!

Good morning. I didn't get in my walk yesterday. It didn't get as warm as was predicted, and the wind kicked up before I was ready to go. There wasn't supposed to be much wind. Today it is even windier and the next few days too and the temps are cooling down with rain and snow predicted for a couple of days. So I guess it is back to the treadmill for awhile.
Today I think I will work on a couple of things down in the basement and maybe prep my cupboard top for painting. The one cupboard door will not stay latched, so I'm going to see what I can find to keep it closed, maybe a small hook and eye for a latch. Right now it has a bent nail that turns over the edge of the door. It works, but it is pretty high up on the door and a little hard to reach.
I weighed in this morning and lost 1.75 lbs. so am getting back closer to my goal weight. I just have to pay closer attention to what and how much I'm eating.
Have a nice day, ladies.

Good morning friends,
Another beautiful day here, rain coming tonight & tomorrow.
I think I will spend the most of the day, trying to get my porches together. So much crud forms all over everything during the winter. Nothing else really planned for today, I do have to go over to DD's house & feed her cat. She is spending a few days with her hubs (who lives about an hour away) (Thank goodness).
I am finding the purple plan a bit restrictive. Of course, any weight loss program is going to be restrictive. It is good to have whole grain pastas & brown rice free of points, but on the other hand an 8 oz glass of skim milk is 3 pts!!! Used to be that you could have 2 teas. of olive oil each day without counting it, no more, now it is 1 pt per teas. Adds up pretty quick when you only get 20 pts per day. I am trying to adapt.
Off to start a load of laundry & start on the porch. Have a great day beaches!
