This is an accountability thread where ALL plans and everyone is welcome. Just a place to put your numbers out in the universe. I just know I am more likely to stay on track if I have to post my numbers so I thought it may be helpful to someone else out there too. 😉 It's here, it's here!!! Welcome to 2021! Goals will be met, challenges will be created, resolutions will be fulfilled. We've got this 🤗

I am going to switch things up. This week I will be paper tracking with no numbers *gasp* involved. I am in need of a hard reset, so I have flipped the switch and will be "rebooting" this week and I will paper track every BLT. So my check-ins will be a yes or no to tracking.

Even though I have stayed within points/calories I definitely need a reboot of some kind also. The scale lies. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I experienced numbers withdrawal when I tried to paper track with just the food 🤣🤣🤣
Thus a change of plans, paper tracking calories for the week.

I was one over dailies 4/11 so
24/23 dailies 27/28 weeklies 0 APs
scale was
168.8 yesterday (so up two pounds) 167.8 today (so down one pound of the two gained)
Not worried about the weight(s) because the trend/routine for this time losing weight seems to be to maintain a new low weight for anywhere from a day to two weeks then a gain - even when OP - then a slow loss to a new low weight and it cycles through again with up, down, new low, up again. Glad I enjoy what I am eating and my mind is not boggling and juggling the idea of new eating plans like it has in the past when the scale doesn't move or moves up when it should go down!

I don't know if any of you know Pahla B. She is a very very chatty youtuber, fitness trainer. She specializes in the women over 50. I follow many of her challenges and her 20-25 minute workouts are effective. She has a 5-0 program that many are successful with. Her theory is that at this age we have to eat more and work out less.... what she touts is moderation. Once I get past her excessive chattiness ( I sometimes have to mute her videos and listen to my own music) She works on calorie intake, sleep, water, moderate daily exercise and mindset. pahlabfitness.com/weight-loss-over-50/www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDfDojzk9Uw&list=PLxEW_OukMMsqHPdKC72mtO06ouYzBbmJk

I am still deciding what I wanna be when I grow up. I may join Deb in calorie counting and going back to working things through Pahla. DebDoesWW, I can so relate to number withdraw... the Corinne No BS stuff just spins me into a whirlwind. I am not ready yet for that. Looking into calorie counting apps that work well in Italy ( I dislike MFP terribly). Will let you know

Rene Have you tried Lose It for counting calories? I don’t know if it will work in Italy.

reneinitaly, I stopped looking for "the diet" or "program" that works...they all work. I seem to have joined my sister with the WW Blue Program using I Track Bites to track the non-zero point foods and manually setting the dailies and weeklies to correspond with the program. If I have a question on a food I ask my sister or use what is in ITB for SugarSmart. Someone on one of the ITB forums mentioned it as an option and so far, so good. It is NOT fast but it is steady. My sister reached her goal weight and is maintaining five pounds under. I still have about twenty pounds to lose but figure by the end of 2021 that should be accomplished and if not, I like the way I am eating and it is fine to stay where I am now...since it is so much better than where I was.
Since May of last year I have done at least three versions of the ITB options, Core using ITB, WW Blue using ITB, tracked calories on MFP (but could do that on ITB, I think, too), thought about SparkPeople, and finally settled in with this and seem okay with it. I have also realized what pattern my weight loss is taking with the ups happening more than I might like even when OP but...as they are expected...I don't worry...just keep eating on program and waiting for the next drop.
Good luck figuring out what you want to do, Rene!
