Cutting back on the portions some today...not hungry so not a problem...so far. I find that the closer I eat to the old Core whole grains and such...the less hungry I seem to be. I don't eat a lot of sweets so...it is interesting...wonder if it is mental?
Yesterday I found I was WAY over on all programs because I had a chicken sandwich with french fries in it BUT I had activity points to spare and had not dipped into the weeklies so didn't fret.
DebDoesWW, Right now I am leaning toward Purple...will see how it goes today. am double tracking still to see

Okay...day two of tracking Blue and Purple:
22 or 23/23 OR 17 or 18/16 Weeklies 28/28 AP's to borrow from are 4 so plenty for the 2 extra on Purple
It is interesting to see what the difference is...will see how tomorrow goes. I do like the carbs for free BUT if I don't need them then might stick with blue? Time will tell...
I am sharing with my sister and send her the food breakdown with points so have that information too...will post below:
Breakfast(4 or 1): 1/2 cup wheat berries(3 or 0) mixed with nonfat yogurt/labneh, chopped banana and strawberries with sugar-free sweetener and TBSP Flax Seeds(1 or 1) and black coffee
Lunch(7/8 or 5/6): spinach with bulgur (2 or 0) made with onion and 2 tsp olive oil(2-3), black eyed peas, with hummus on top (3 or 3) [Normally I would count the olive oil at 1 point per tsp...so???]
Dinner(8 or 8): 2.5 oz halloum(8 or 8), cherry tomatoes, zucchini soup
Snacks: boiled egg, grapefruit, ice latte(3 or 3)

3AP ~ Walked 30 minutes 28/28 Weeklies remaining 7/16 Purple Dailies Used 23/23 Blue dailies used
Tomorrow I begin a new week...seems either program will work fine...weird! That SAID...leaning toward purple since I am not missing the bread or other things most might use points for?

cathygeha since it appears the vast majority of " the way you eat" foods are the same points on both yeah definitely go with whichever makes you most comfortable. The only time you will see a major difference is when say, a carb lover, tries to do purple. I believe each food list a has a 100 increase and a new category is added each time. Green F&V Blue F&V + Lean Protiens Purple F&V + Lean Proteins + Whole Grains
