It’s April the month of asparagus and strawberries, let's challenge ourselves to eat more vegetables and fruit. A great place to start -at least 5 fruits&veggies everyday! And don't forget at least 30 minutes of exercise too!
WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycle, spin, swim, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, Pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday through Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins(WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here.
This challenge runs the month of April.

Wed- at least 6 servings water
Thur- two servings healthy oil
Fri- self appreciation day
Sat- at least a serving of whole grains
Sun- at least two servings lean protein

Good Morning all!
I had a fairly good week once I saw my DR on Thursday lol. Well she said I gained 18 pounds this year! I was supposed to lose weight....
So I said to my son Sam that it was COVID weight --He said Covid 19 weight so I gained 18 pounds instead of 19 lol I am actually an underacheiver!
Anyway, my frame of mind is better now that I bit the bullet and saw my DR. I refilled my thyroid med and my atorvistatin which she has been begging me to take for my cholesterol.
So.... I have decided that I need to focus on decades. I am 224 this morning so I need to get to 219 to get to the next lower decade. I have been focusing again on the entire amount I need to lose instead of smaller, more immediately attainable goals.

Hi MO I start today over too. i am eating purple but with 20 points for people who are at goal. I am not at goal. But I am using 21 points for 4 packets of high fiber 2 at a time. 3.75 cups of p-lain yogurt. 2.5 cups of unsweetened applesauce. 5 servings of apple sauce. 5 servings of yogurt. and 2 servings of oatmeal. 1325 calories and budget friendly. I was 204 today but wearing shorts. I am now in my warm weather weighing uniform. The shorts were cut off from pants so comfortable. I want to start walking on my treadmill. I want to lose another 55 pounds and I can do that with what I am eating. I get 1600 mg of calcium in the yogurt. my bone doctor likes that instead of her giving me 4 tu7ms a day. I may add a bag of broccoli instead of 4 packets of oatmeal. just 2 packets of them.

I adde3d the bag of broccoli 5 steamed cups. 2 packets of oatmeal in morning for breakfast. Then 5 meals with 3 courses.

I am eating 10 points in purple. i get 16 a day.
