It’s April the month of asparagus and strawberries, let's challenge ourselves to eat more vegetables and fruit. A great place to start -at least 5 fruits&veggies everyday! And don't forget at least 30 minutes of exercise too!
WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycle, spin, swim, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, Pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday through Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins(WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here.
This challenge runs the month of April.

Thur- two servings healthy oil
Fri- self appreciation day
Sat- at least a serving of whole grains
Sun- at least two servings lean protein

Good Morning Everyone
Tomorrow we are going to the Meadows Racetrack out in Washington Pa for the Ky Derby. I usually take bets for friends--I dont get a commission because that would make me a bookie, but I like to see what bets others make
From time to time, some have won a little.
We usually dont win much but you never know.
I had a pretty good week except for Tuesday but that is in the past.

Hi Mo Thanks for starting us. I am cooking my whole wheat pasta in the microwave, I have nonfat marinara.sauce too. I bought water 6 24 packs and spent 12 dollar. Scott is going to put it in refrigerator and I will start drinking tomorrow. Scott is going for his second vaccine in minutes. Then when he comes back he will put butteries in my jar opener.

Amy, enjoy your pasta, yum! Glad Scott will soon have his second vaccine!
I have not been good about my food choices the past two days but as Mo says, that is in the past. I'll do better today! Tomorrow SuSu and I are driving to Brooklyn for Timmy's birthday! We'll be going to a Italian restaurant, yay! Usually my family never wants to go out for Italian! I don't know why?! Should be pretty good weather there so hopefully will get in a lot of walking ... or as much as possible given my excess weight and bum knee. I've got to get this weight off, it's really dragging me down!
