Happy Mother's Day!
I hope you enjoy your classes with the dogs today! Good job taking the necessary break from the mind boggling audit work!
I realized though I'm not making anything new, I can still share pics of what I've done and what is new. So I will do that. ALso I will be sure to keep my idea book going while things are boxed so I remember what it is I want to make!
Craft: -This is the custom graduation card I made for my friends business. It has her business logo for middle square. The maroon colored triangles are faux wood, match her logo color, then we have the "Ready for an Adventure" square, a compass, maps, faux wood for the border and a rustic, non descript green alternating with it. The front of the square has "Congratulations" written below it in almost same font as her logo. On the inside of the card, on left she had a different logo written out on top, and a standard message to to student clients that filled that portion. SHe leaves the right side of the card blank to write a more personal message. Back of card just has my name, shop name/link.
AM TaDas: -boxed 8 small (small means regular, banker/file sized), this was all t.ve. components, DVD's, game DVD's, cords and one box of framed pictures and knick knacks from family room areas, boxed all personal family pictures, extra knick knaks...oops already said that. -1 large box, of basket floral decoration, leather storage boxes. -showered, dressed to the shoes -folded/delivered custom cards, she loves them!
Scanned a baby photo of DD prior to boxing that framed photo for graduation slide show.
Oh, I forgot to say a gentleman, probably older, who ordered two packs of the Chukar cards sent me the nicest thank you note, on one of the cards, saying how much he liked what I do and liked his "Thank You" note as well, it was really sweet!
I'm driving to Mom's today to spend one night to see her, my sister before they leave, and get my laptop I accidentally left there.

Z, That avatar is great! BTW I told you so about the birds being popular so I am so I am not surprised you got that wonderful note. Not much went on today. Took the girls to class and they did fantastic. The trainer just absolutely adores them. We have a lot of room in our area and they are constantly playing with each other in the cutest manor imaginable while they are waiting for their turns to run the courses. The trainer is enthralled with the way they act and was taking pictures of their antics while class was going on. They are just adorable in their outfits. Both of them had little felt roses clipped to their harnesses today. Back to the audit grind tomorrow. Happy Mothers day!

Hello,
I stayed one more night at my mom’s and will drive back this morning. While here I transferred my new house papers from a binder that was too small and put in a larger binder. Three hole punched remaining papers snd put them inside.
Sister and I went to HD and had a small piece of plywood cut, got stain that tried to match moms tv stand, applied that, let dry, brought in and put on top of tv stand, then putt mom’s new smart tv our other sister got for her on it. The legs of new tv it were too wide to set on current stand, but that stand fits her corner. This turned out really well, looks quite nice, mom is happy.
My plan when I return today is to box the three remaining lowers of family room built ins, to box or clear dining room table area snd or move what is crowded around there. Because big goal for week is to purge pantry, empty it, paint itt, I got the supplies for this while at HD also and we have leftover paint to allow for this to happen. Though it’s just a pantry it’s been painted half one color half another every badly with uneven jagged stop start pointy. Plus it’s overfill. Also if I can take a load of packed boxes to storage I will do that as well.
I’m glad the classes went well with the dogs! I hope your day is off to a good start!!
Can you remind me the brand name of the shelf liner you use/like or link it? I will neee to get some. Sorry, I know I’ve asked this before.
Update: -home, emptied one cupboard of three large builtins, CB'd about 5-7 games, boxed the remainder. -boxed a couple more boxes of stuff -DH and I loaded boxes into car and I took those to storage unit and a third of a car load of stuff to Goodwill again -stopped at Staples, paid for shredding of 5 pounds of paper, this cost $1.00. -stopped and got flowers for the front of house pots, I hope to get this done tonight -editing a horrible edging thing DH did to my border work done last year, it looks pretty bad, why, why, why.....sigh, I spoke to him about it. -hauled several boxes of DD's stuff up to her room in hopes of her going through that stuff -CB'd some stuff to GOodwill from garage shelves that was mine
That's about it.

Z, You got a lot done! I bought the shelf liner at BBB. It is called Life Liner and is the ribbed kind. Also I used Alcolin Sticky Putty to tack down the corners-just a small amount rolled up, then squeshed down. I went to the BBB website and had to type in "life liner shelf liner" to get it to come up. It comes in 12 and 24 inch widths. Made by Warp Brothers. The sticky putty I got on Amazon. Another busy work day for me. Also worked on watering the trees. We are having the lovleyest weather! You are doing such a great job decluttering!!! I think it is interesting that the more I find, the more I find. At first I think I only need to declutter these one thing, then I find four more.
Long day for me, I cannot wait to call it a day. 14,860 Steps and yet I didn't think I did that much. Yoga still has to be done. I can do this!
Hope yu are having a relaxing evening!!!

“Yet it would be your duty to bear it, if you could not avoid it: it is weak and silly to say you cannot bear what it is your fate to be required to bear.” ― Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre
Can you tell me what you used, the clear or the white? I'm thinking white, cause then you can see if it needs cleaned?
Jane Eyre is a favorite book of mine, and this quote from it is very much on my mind as of late. I appreciate your encouragment. I do not feel like things are going well though, but I will keep going!
Tadas: -last night I got the flowers in the pots -this morning I hand trimmed about 7 bushes, dead heady the hydrangea shrubs on side yard and did a minimal weeding the area of a filled in pond where there are hostas. -did an extra large box of framed pictures, using the bubble wrap, and filled it -a large box of den items and decoration -3-4 regular size boxes of books, picture albums -loaded said boxes above to car -moved 3 three ladder back chairs, fan, child rolly toy, small/bagged tent -emptied one guest room built in closet drawer of obviouse trash and trashed it -spoke to DD, briefly about what needs to be happening with her room ultimately, I think I have permission to do as I see fit, we shall see -DH and I spoke about deck area and railing, this is overwhelming us both right now, this whole area is on south side of house, never gets sun, it's always, damp, mossy, paint peeling nightmare, I should have had metal railings put in when the deck was built, I'm unsure what we'll do. -tried calling handy man, this was overwhelming and I said I'd call back.....CALLED BACK< GAVE LIST< WILL WAIT FOR ESTIMATE -I set many largish bulky things to take to Goodwill again today and am going to do that now, a mirror, baskets, planters, neck pillows, pillows -spoke to DD about going through the stuff I set in the guest room which was moved from her downstairs dumping ground, this was met with TT, I'll try to touch on it again later today. -loaded and ran the DW -found a good 12-15 inch stack of papers from when both kids took online class for credits, these where the books, tossed those in the recycling -took another load of boxes to storage unit -dumped another load at Goodwill
Goal for rest of day: -start boxing the craft supplies from the MB -there are some lighter, bulky things in entry way area that will make impact when boxed, so want to hit those today as well -unload, box, move three items related to the "little kitchen", a wood little kitchen replica of what my my grandpa made for us, and get that moved to garage and covered, this will clear out a large area of kitchen -empty a drawer in an end table and put the end table back into the family room where it belongs, ....DONE, including the lamp that goes on it, plugged in. -move coffee table back out to family room, put rest of furniture back in place in family room, it is still out of place.....DONE -address the two other cupboards from lower family room builtins, when this is done, that room is "done"!
Z.
Challenges: -trash and paper trash/clutter....I am trying to not stress out there is soooo much doo dads, carp, odds and ends, DH just wants to box all and sort later....I'm trying to avoid this.

Z, You are doing fantastic!!! This is a series of really large projects and you are getting them taken care of over and over. Wow!!! on having sold the cabin and figuring out what to do with the entire contents. Now you have to declutter an entire house and get it ready for showing and then keep it immaculate. And that's with three other people living in your home. Not to even mention trying to get the new house figured out. And then there are the repairs that need to be made. And, oops, now the outside of the house has to be worked on. I say you deserve five gold stars ***** and also much drum banging #@!!!*&>>>)*""!!@. And at the end of this monsoon is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. A brand new house just the way you want it!!!
We have to watch out for the doing things only the perfect way syndrome. I managed to end up running a wholesale business in the automotive business once and the amount of stuff I did not know how to do was mind boggling. I would become frozen so I finally adopted the concept of--get it done NOW and then get it done right later. In other words just give it my best and don't let perfectionism freeze me up. Well, I am just chatting.... I love all those sayings like--Make it Happen!
Today I spent most of the day cleaning, doing laundry and everything is so much better. The drought has made the dust unbelievable. So I worked really hard to get areas I had been skipping done. I thought I would do one load of wash but ended up doing four. Clair watches the dog TV channel so when she likes a dog she will get up near the TV and give the dog a kiss. So I had to get those kiss prints off the TV. That made me laugh.
Stay strong. You can do this!!!

GOOd Morning,
I though I posted yesterday, but I see it is not here. I agree with avoiding perfectionist syndrome in approach to problem solving some things and also use quotes, phrases, mantras to keep me going to try to stay motivated. Thanks for all the encouragement. I'm glad you made headway on your cleaning, chores, laundry and dusting. I love hearing about CLair!
Yesterday TaDas: Sorry if I repeate..I can't remember -emptied the two remaining two lower family room builtins, double cupboard, 24 inch depth of contents. These held 3 largish, plastic, three drawer storage containers of things, keepsake toys, camera supplies and box of exercise physical therapy items. All of this was boxed. -assembled boxes for DH to box his camera and doo dad elctronic/cord corner. He used an empty tote instead for camera, but didn't box any of the doo dads. He did box some of his shoes and organized his floor area of the MB closet. -boxed several boxes of pictures, large decor items, jugs, pillows, hurricane lamps -DH helped me remove fabric from the old kitchen valance hardware and that was put in box to donate as well as some electronic items and a few toys. This filled one regular sized box. -DH unscrewed bookcases from wall in corner craft closet, moved to garage and we moved the oak hutch to the garage from there as well, and I moved folding chairs, t.v. trays, weight bench and kitchen chairs to garage -got the last picture out of laundry room -loaded about 10 boxes, most regular sized, one large, one extra large, one tote to car, put that mover plastic wrap around the 3, 3 drawer plastic storage unit things to keep drawers from sliding out, and took all of this to the storage unit. Second storage unit probably only has room for few more boxes where I can reach to put/stack them until we can start tansitioning to new house, more will have to go in garage.
General State: Because there is so much small, messy things about, it still feels like not much is getting accomplished. I'm trying to remind self of all that is done, and just keep going.
I need to post less "ToDos" for myself each day and just focus on the "TaDas" as they happen because everything is going a bit slower than planned. Big jobs are the Craft stuff from MB and closet and DS' room. Emptying pantry, purge food donation, so it can be painted normally and only put minimum back in, get DD's grad announcements mailed. THis is through the next three days area of focus.
I hope your day is off to a good start. I Hve to go get a temporary crown today for a broken tooth.

Z, I love the avatar! I agree about posting To Dos. I had to stop since I had developed massive To Do list burnout. However I notice that I don't seem to be able to account for my time as well unless I am working on an audit since I tend to do that work for many hours at a time. Great job forging ahead with the organizational/decluttering work. Today I finished up an audit, cleaned up a bunch of strange papers that needed to be dealt with. Put my nose to the grindstone about the tree watering project. Now I take my Kindle out there and read while their huge troughs are getting filled up with water. Also had a pile of paper work to go through pertaining to responsibilities that AA formerly had as part of her job. My interest level is low lately which is hard for me to deal with since my enthusiasm is generally over flowing all the time. Well, I am just tired. Tomorrow is errand day for me. That's about it--15,952 Steps for me today so I know I was busy doing homemaking stuff all day.
I bought the clear shelf liner and I can definitely see all specs of anything on it.
Hope you are having a great night!!!

Good Morning,
Thanks for info on the shelf liner material, I will probably copy you on the clear as probably that is less "busy" on the eye when opening cupboards and drawers than white, it dissapears? Sounds like good plan for the tree watering project.
Yesterday was sort of no accomplishment day, I had long dentist appointment morning, catch up coffee with friend in the afternoon then accompanied DH to one of his favorite dinner/beer places for dinner. I did however get 12K steps in, made myself walk after dinner and the day before I had 20K steps. Eating choices is calming down, don't really want to post about this, because I don't feel like I'm back on it. I will try to start streak posts again and maybe I'll post my weight also every day to help me stay accountable through these stressful times. I need something to keep me on the right path. I wanted to be at my goal weight when we moved, did not make it and have lost a little ground. SO, I can do this, I CAN turn this around, I WILL turn this around! I also have a lake vacation planned for after July 4th for 5 days in my hometown. THere is no reason I cannot be in better place by then! Walking is a very important, stress reliever, and thinking time for me I realize, so I need to make sure I'm getting this in each day and for health/weight management! THanks for listening! Update: I am thinking more postively about where I'm at. THough I have lost a little ground, I am below where I was at this point last year, so this is good and with some determination, food planning and diligence with exercise, there's no reason I can't turn this around and get back on track.
I went to my friend/neighbors house, she has nice picturesque back yard with features, and asked if she'd take some family photos of us today, this evening in her yard before DS goes off to Air Force Basic training. She said yes, so we will do this this afternoon. Family seems to be on board with this plan, I hope it goes well. I have made her some cookies and mixed card pack as a "THank you" for use of the yard and her taking the pictures.
Goals for today are actually get the Etsy, craft tools, raw materials boxed and sellables and hopefully start on the pantry project. I did find out that the largish pictures and items was going to donate to specific place is not a local drop off, so those items will go to Goodwill for expediency sake. I'm not driving a long distance to donate stuff, especially into down town Seattle either.
I did move boxes to upstairs MB to begin, DH ordered his magazine storage boxes from U-LINE, don't ask, but at least they're being stored appropriately, progress and that type of box keeps it from getting to heavy. THis is Sports Illustrated subscription he's been getting since he was in high school and that used to be weekly magazine, not monthly, now it is monthly, so just imagine the number of magazines being stored in total here.
More later.
Hoep your day is off to a good start.

Excellent day for me today! I managed to get my wind socks replaced which was a much needed project. Also got my deck flower boxes installed and filled. Lots of bird items and all of those got completed. Took the girls to their class and something exciting! We were able to have class mask-less. Also we can shop now without masks. The class made sense since our social distancing is necessary to keep the dogs from socializing. Even though we don't have to wear them shopping, most people still are. There is light at the end of the Covid tunnel!!! Yesterday I did my errands and ended up so exhausted that I just collapsed and that was the end of the day. Today I am more rested and have made up my mind that the world will have to march to the tune of MY DRUMMER from now on--instead of me working 12 hour days to keep up with what is considered my responsibilities. I am doing better to let jobs that belong to other people alone. I have been working on this for a couple of months and I consider any tiny victory a huge accomplishment. Another exciting thing! It rained!!! This will help the odious dust problem for a while. You made me laugh about the magazines but only because I have done the same type of thing. I had many boxes of books I had read down in the basement. I can't imagine why on earth I was keeping them. I think we have made serious Clutterbuster progress. On the negative I have been procuring clothes--bad girl (unsmiley face). This out of control shopping is a sign that I am overwhelmed to the maximum. Hopefully, there is an end in sight.
Tomorrow I need to do a few homemaking items before I start working ont he audits. My plan is to not shop! I mean business.
Hope you are having a pleasant evening and were able to get something done. I am partially derailed and hoping to calmly and serenely get back on track. In FLYing terms--I am on the ground flapping. Hmmm..... You are not behind, begin where you are.---Flylady really has helped me.

Streaks Beginning and catch up: Exercise "E" - 5 Eating Plan "EP" -5 Weight "W": 167.5 (this is down quite a bit actually from 2-1.5 week ago, too much sugar consumption was going on, cut down considerably, plus the other two things, makes things go the right direction.) Hooray for rain and mask-less classes!!! We don't know what is happening here. Most shopping establishments are required that customers wear masks. Someone had an idea that it should be on shop/restaurant owners to check Covid Vaxination cards prior to allowing patrons entry. This is ridiculous. THese business have enough challenges without having to use an employee for that. So I just keep make sure I have the mask with me. Fun for flowers being in, so nice to enjoy over summer! Sorry you got so tired though. WIshing you good progress on your jobs today. This is house, same builder, same neighborhood as us, around same time built, same type of cabinetry, floors, etc. same square footage for sale: www.zillow.com/homedetails/7326-232nd-Ave-NE-Redmond-WA-98053/48846167_zpid/Main differences are, though we do not have the bonus room, our master bedroom, master closet are larger, our den is just as nice with 2x the number of bookcases/possibly larger, our entryway is grander/larger and formal living room is larger, HUGE windows we have in there to very high ceilings. Our homes are also similar in that they have not updated kitchen, cabinetry etc. THeir outdoor space is nicer. but our yard is more private. Photo Shoot: Friend did the photo shoot for us in her yard, this went well, so happy to have these photos of our family and the kids. Yesterday: -did the church sound system volunteer -got in about 15 k steps -yesterday morning, unloaded pantry completley sorted into three types, donate, trash, keep, very tough work. DH and I are in disagreement about what to do with excess trash right now. He wants to wait to take to dump but doesn't know when he'll go. I want it gone now. He's worried about the crows getting in it, I don't care, I'll clean it up if they do. -taped off the pantry for painting, I also had to tape off the lengths of the backs of and ends of the wire melamine shelving as to not slop paint on them while doing, with goal to make look better not worse. -was told I had all needed to paint, incorrect when shown the supplies, no paint tray/cup liners for dried paint-caked trays DH used, so a run to HD had to be done before starting. -painted pantry ceiling, walls, sides, backs, between all shelves to the floor, with the left over paint used in kitchen/family room area, looks GREAT!!! Very Fresh/clean. CB: related to pantry purge -4 boxes of food to donate to food bank -3 kitchen bags of trash/expired food, this is what needs to be set out for pick up IMO. -updated: Just did this moved 4 large kitchen trash bags to 2 larger black trash bags and set at curb for pick up. Three of these were from painting and pantry purge one was a garbage bag I had going already from Entry way. I will watch for a murder of crows and shoo them with my broom. -Sent two follow up e-mails regarding work we need to have done, and how that will work. Between the church, walking, purging, prepping, painting, this took all day. I've still not boxed any craft working materials or sellables yet from MB area or DS room. I need to work on DD's grad announcements this morning so we can mail those and take care of some home project e-mails and appointment settings. I will try to get my walk in this morning, it is cooler today. Drop off food donations, clean off the wire melamine shelving itself, replace food in pantry, but box some of it I know we won't be cooking with right now. Z.

Z, Great!!! job on the pantry painting and decluttering. I checked out the house for sale. Yours will be incredible!!! You have so much to do and you are getting it done. Hooray! Accomplishments for me: A.M Routine: Played bed marble ball with Buttercup, fed birds, fed dogs, picked up yard, Trained the girls, played Cars with BC and Clair, took the gang for a run, and then two more. Fixed the dogs veggie packs for the week.
Bed marble ball---No dogs are ever allowed on the bed so BC gets up on it anyway to play ball about a foot away from me. Object—shoot ball into dogs mouth which can only be accomplished using the marble technique since she is so close. She loves this game.
Also started reminding the girls how to play “Choose this one”. I hold up my hands with say three fingers up on one hand and a thumb up on the other and say “this is what they look like”. Then I hide them behind my back and just bring out one of them—say a thumb and say “Choose this one”. Then hand goes back behind my back and then I show them the two hands again and the correct hand is tapped by the dog using her noise. Well this game gets very complicated and also all the verbal commands are eliminated. So the dog will play it and select the right one each time. This absolutely floors people when they see it. My old Lab could play it lightening fast and we used to do it while waiting for the vet. All the vet techs etc would come out to see it done. Mostly I want to get BC trained since she gets bored in class and starts barking (oops) at me demanding food or else. Yikes!
Working today on simplifying the process for getting ready for audits for next year so all will be done now instead of later one. One more day on this and I will be done. Next is getting the junk dealers in the office. I have AA working on this project which is not too complicated for her. I think I will be able to set the appointment for Thursday. And I need to schedule the movers after that.
That's about it for me. Not many steps yet so I will have to walk the dogs tonight.
Hope you had a good day!!!

Good MOrning,
Your dogs are adorable and smart and lucky to have such a great care taker! THat "choose this one" game is something I'd like to see!

Avatar: This is the second side of the Celtic Cottage block art piece. It has two cliffs and the more modern roof with different celtic border wood burned below. All of the thick dark lines are wood burned and the rest is primitive acrylic paint and wood stain. In my closing note for Etsy shop I said why closed, that clicking on "118 Sales" would show examples of what I make for now that can be viewed and that when I open in later September I will have more pieces, ornament, holiday items in shop. I hope to create more designs of this type block art with simplistic holiday images, double sided. I can sketch these in notepads during the moving process and have ready to make later. That's all I can do really.
Everything is taking a bit longer than anticipated, which is par for the course, good thing we've started early. There was a panic, and I was awoken from dead sleep, last night about what I did with a box of cords DH had packed from his carp corner of dining area which was where he'd packed all the camera stuff also. THis cord necessary to charge DD's graphing calculator for school, which was DEAD, and all this at 11:00 PM at night, stress level high. For the life of me, I do not remember closing/labeling a box of cords only, yet I am asking questions, trying to recall. Then I see a box, a regular size (this means banker box sized" full of cords, still open, next to his carp corner, filled with cords from his carp corner, and I'm like, "this is all cords, and there are more cords, (unboxed still lying in the carp corner itself) why would it not be here, as I don't remember sealing/boxing a box of cords only, of that type, from that corner. THen it was found, thankfully. The randomness of have you seen, what did you do with, etc. etc. is what will drive me "BSC" right now.
Yesterday TaDas: -put the four extra bags of kitchen/food purge trash into two larger black garbage bags at curb with regular garbage, no crows, no protest from DH, they are gone. -drove the food to the food bank place. Was accosted by volunteer there while bringing said boxes of food after my 4th trip about all of it being not expired, I siad it was not expired. In reality, 90 percent or more was not expired with 10 percent being "barely" expired, I unloaded the last bit of it and drove away quickly. THankfully I will have no more trips there. I held back the really old stuff to dispose of here. I hope you don't think me terrible on this. There was 4 boxes of food and a half case of chicken broth, chicken broth...new...not expired! -I drove to another GOodwill drop off DH suggested cause they take some electronic components he said. My friend said, problem is it's never open, so I ended up driving to the main one I've been going to and dropped off the globe, 2 large pictures, a cork bulletin board and a mall shopping bag of carp. -got a good snack lunch, those STarbucks Roasted REd Pepper Egg white bites, love those things. I will treat myself every day to those if necessary to help me stay focused with good food choices. -drove to HD and made a $20.00 return of unused paint supplies -made muffins for breakfast, and cooked a Costco Premade manicotti thing for dinner -got over 11K Steps in -used a damp towel and wiped down all the wire melamine shelving that was marked or had grody stuff on them, this looks great and I'm ready to put food back in there soon -went to post office and got stamps for DD's Grad announcment mailings which I've gotten nowhere with yet. -stopped in at the orthodontist and made yet another appointment for panoramic XRAY, wisdom teeth and Invasaline consult, all this being a repeat of last year's consult, don't ask, this too shall pass. Maybe this time we actaully get the teeth taken care of. -FINALLY got through to the pediatrician office our records were transferred to last fall!!!! This has been a saga and DD needs to have one more, two shot series immunization, and we got the first shot booked!!! Holy cow. -removed many items from family room builtins after walking through the open house at the other house, I could still needed further editing down, done! Some of this type item might be in Den still, I will have to see.
That's it. TOday's focus should be waking, grad announcement, kitchen cleaning, pantry put away, box extra food I know I'll not be cooking with in immediate future, possibly purge more and get my walk in before it starts raining.
Evening Update: -ended up running round this morning taking care of errands, paper work, returns which was unplanned -got all of the food back in the pantry, purged one more kitchen trash bag of old food, while at it. Pantry looks good, can see what's there, though not over full, it's full and this is surprising to me based on the amount of food that went to donation and trash already. GOal now is to eat the food from the pantry, not buy more/new and overstock it. NOTHING is on the floor! Floor is hardwood and part of refinishing job coming up. -got the hand wash dishes that needed done, done, was big build up here, running DW -DH found large tote in garage full old cat stuff, we emptied all of that and put in trash bag, I've grabbed more packing materials from what I know not, and also stuffed into that trash bag -I have a calendar filled out with important dates for things, coming up. -DH emptied one den lower builtin cupboard, these are shallow in depth, 11 inch book shelf depth, 28" wide (14" each cupboard door). There are three more of these to empty purge/pack.
I'm heading up stairs now to start packing MB craft supplies while I watch program I've watched umpteen times, BBC...PBS..?? "Sense and Sensibility" 3 part show, 2008. Seen it so many times, I can work while I listen/watch well. Would be fantastic if I could get all of this in hand from MB area and closet tonight. I will try!

Z, You are doing fantastic!!! I know I tell you this everyday but it is completely and totally true!!! The avatar reminds me of Ireland, it is wonderful! Those expire dates are not when the food is bad--it says "best by" on most of them and I found out from the Preppers that this food actually lasts and is very edible for years. Best by means that some of the taste diminishes after that date or possibly there is a slight color change. Other wise the food would have to say something like--If you eat this after such and such a date something dreadful is going to happen. This would be to avoid lawsuits. Today I worked on getting the office organized via phone umpteen phone calls for the junk haulers to come tomorrow and also the movers. I need to be there in the morning since DH has an appointment. Probably best I am there since furniture is going to be moved and I need to make sure that it all makes sense.
Otherwise I spent most of the day working on this huge organizational project and I am glad I did as something important was going to get overlooked that pertains to the peer review we have every three years. Actually it was a very big deal that I noticed this so no matter how long it takes me to unscramble this stuff it will be more than worth it.
Glad your pantry looks so great! If people only knew how often we bite our tongues when they want to watch us look for stuff they could look for. Or ask really ignorant questions--like where is the vacuum cleaner. Or this was perfect--in the grocery store in the veggie section I said get me a bag and the response was--where are those. Hmmm......
Hope you are enjoying your movie!

Good Morning,
EX -7 EP- 7 W-167.5
I hope the junk hauling and furniture moving goes smoothly today. Great work spending time on the organizational project and coming across the important items. Yes, the cottages are Scotland/Ireland inspired, thank you. I'm excited to do more of these.
Yes, I agree with you. I'm hoping food donation place has protocol to be able to use that type of food if slightly past the "best by" date.
Late last night Tadas: -3 large, 4 small boxes packed from MB outer area, brought down this morning and stored in craft closet for now. TOo much other stuff around main walking areas right now.
This morning I will work on grad announcements and then start on what's in the MB closet, craft and clearing floor area, which means boxing clothing in the two drawer containers, removing the containers, shoes and other. This should go faster than what done last night because a lot of that stuff Etsy stuff is already in boxes as it it is completed product items shipped to me.
More later.
Z.
