I'm plugging along. I am trying to take care of myself as best I can, and that's all I can do right now. I've been tracking. It's not even the weekend yet, and I am very low in WPs, so we'll see how that shakes out, but I'm really trying to focus on eating regularly and not worrying about the stress eating I've been doing.
I popped on the work scale today (I won't tell you how inappropriate I think it is that we even have a work scale) and I seem to be holding firm.
Hi wwlurker - Glad to hear you are plugging along I hope the weekend goes well for you.
We had a scale where I used to work, one of those old fashioned ones like used to be at the doctor's office. I tried to avoid it It was justified having one where I worked though. I would be offended if it hadn't been.
I'm sticking to my calorie roller-coaster this week and it's working out pretty well. The low calorie days are a bit hard, but go O.K. if I plan for them. I'm also tracking and walking 30 minutes a day. I'm interested to see how my weigh-in goes on Sunday.
I need to catch up. I also need to be better about checking in here. I find a lot of inspiration and I need that. Had my weighin this morning and I lost 1.4 so I’m happy with that. I hope everybody’s doing well
sunrose49, I find coming here helps me keep my eating and activity a priority.
I have not been tracking, and I'm really ok with that for now. Tomorrow is supposed to be my WI, and I will try to remember to get on the scale and record it. I hopped on today and I'm holding steady, which is my goal for the next couple of weeks.
I think I might have lost 1 pound this past week, or maybe stayed close to the same. Either way I had a good week, so I'm happy. I'm going to mix up my calories again this week too. I'm about 1 pound away from where I wanted to be at the beginning of June, so I'm happy with that. Hopefully June will be a good weight loss month.
I've been walking for 30 minutes every day, and hope to keep that up.
Hope you are all doing well with your plans and that you had a good weekend
cj59 - I'm so happy you are getting your walking in. Exercise feels like the final frontier for me - I still haven't managed to fit it in regularly, and I know that I really need to for my over health, including my mental health.
I did my WI today and I was down a couple of pounds. This was surprising, as I've not been tracking most of the last week and I've not been restricting my food, either. I've just been focusing on trying to eat regularly and get some healthy foods in. I've finally crossed my next milestone (5 pound mark), which I was working on since March. I'm hoping that going forward, I will get back to the 5 pounds a month that I was doing earlier in the year, but I'm also ok with it being super slow.
