166.6 (for another day)
I looked back at my weight loss journal from 1998/9 and see that I hit the doldrums before at a bit lower weight but also in the 160's. I think it won't matter WHICH program I follow as long as I eat healthy and don't go OFF the program I am on. My body is settling in and that is that. It will lose again when it is ready to do so and has stabilized. So...with all the delicious fruits and vegetables arriving soon...hm....
I walked 30 minutes yesterday and today and have started doing some pushups, squats and a few other exercises.

My sister, in her last email, said that getting out of the sixties decade was tough for her, too. So...maybe it is genetic

Wonderful!!!!! We will be picking up Benjamin 9 yr old Boston on Saturday. Benny was born on LuLa's bday...same day same year and I call that 'divine intervention' at its best!!!!! After talking with Stephanie, Benjamin's mom she wanted Benjamin to be placed with us as his 'forever home'. She's had him since he was a puppy and her two boys are much too active around him and she is afraid that something will happen because of it. It's heartbreaking for her to give him up but her children's safety comes first and I can understand that. We told her the rules of fostering...that you are not allowed to keep your first foster and she said that she was going to call them and explain that she wants us to be his forever home. Long story short it all worked out. We got a call from the Fostering place and they are not upset with the process as their main goal is to place Boston Terriers. They said that we will still be on their 'list to foster' but that won't happen for 6 months as they want to give Benjamin and us time to bond. They would not accept an adoption fee so Carl and I will make a donation instead. We are looking forward to meeting the cute little guy. Another wonderful thing is that it falls day before Mother's Day...being childless I shall now have another Boston to love God is good! Sorry this is so lengthy...aren't you happy you asked??? LOL
