Thinking Mistake #9: Exaggerated Thinking
“I can’t stand this craving.”
“I have no will power.”
Do you do this?

I do exaggerate things in everyday life so I probably do it in my weight management journey, but can't think of any examples right now.

Exaggerated Thinking. Do you do this?
* I go several weeks without sugar, the craving gets so bad I just can't stand this craving for sugar and then give in, so yes, I do exaggerated thinking but not very often.

I don't usually fall into this when truly focused and OP. It is also easier NOT to have this happen during the pandemic as many times it would happen with friends "celebrating"... Also, cravings that cannot be fed because the craved item is not in the house...well...that helps, too

I do this at least once each week. Now that I think about it, this may be what’s causing me to maintain instead of losing.

Yes, I crave salty things like chips IF they are nearby. It’s easier to say no one time in the grocery store than try to fight off those chips multiple times a day in the pantry!

I can cave into a craving much quicker than I would like to. No choice doesn’t usually win out. But if I keep carb and sugar treats out of the house, I’m usually ok.
