Thanks for the start June.
Bee enjoy your houseguest.
Once again thanks.
Tomorrow it's not supposed to rain so the plan is to get some walking done. Also need to make a trip to Walmart and Hannaford.
Sweet dreams and prayers continue.

June, thanks for the start. Bee, enjoy your company. You’ve become a social butterfly. Ann, I’m glad your weather is better and hope you get all your errands done. Susi, I just can’t get into this season of Big Sky as I did the first one.
It will be 91 today. I have no plans so I will weed the garden in the morning. Flower beds need weeding too but the garden takes priority. Dinner is grilled branzino, cheesy cauliflower purée and salad. I’ve been tracking all week.

Today is MissMilla's birthday. Our 1 and only DGD, she was born at 2:34 PM on 5/6/07, weighing 8#. Hers are the baby stats that are easy to remember, eh?

I will: track, hydrate, move, stay positive, focus on the endgame
Lunch today will be all the ingredients used in stuffed zucchini without all the work of coring and stuffing the tiny things. We will have garbanzo beans instead of meat in the pot and add some labneh or laban on top either both times we have it or just with leftovers. Dinner will probably be a lentil-spinach-vegetable soup of some kind and I might try making some bulgur dumplings to add into it...need to find a recipe for them.
The scale is holding for the 6th day at 166.6 and that is fine. My sister said she had trouble breaking through to the fifties, too, so perhaps it is a genetic thing It will happen eventually (or not) and I am enjoying what I am eating and how I am feeling so...that is win-win situation and good reason to stay OP.
I sometimes wonder why Cinco de Mayo is celebrated in so many places besides Mexico. I can understand why they would celebrate/commemorates the unlikely victory of the Mexican army over French forces during the Franco-Mexican war but am not sure why others would party unless they just want a reason to party and eat Mexican food I am ALWAYS up for Mexican food <hee hee>
ANN: I am thrilled for you to finally have a pooch to pamper. I am eager to hear Benjamin's story and hope he finds his forever home without trouble. I m sure that Benjamin will sigh with relief when he gets away from the children. How interesting that he and Lula were born on the same date!
SUSI: We eat seasonally here, too. I depend on what my husband brings in from the garden and what we find at the produce market only augmenting with a few processed goods. Mostly beans and grains, fruits and vegetables, and basic locally produced items are available and fresh so that is what we eat. It must be nice to have that cushion at weigh-in!
LADONNA: I am not sure what my water intake was before I started WW in 1984 (first time) but it has become a huge part of my life since then. I guzzle it throughout the day only slowing down a bit during winter.
AUDREY: I think my weight loss at the moment is more like a snail...turtles move quicker than some might think! I am fine with it, though, and I am enjoying looking back at the weights this time last year...figure no matter how slow the losses are I am going to always weigh more a year ago than this year till I read goal weight and am a year beyond it! It sounds HOT there. My husband is anti-melon because we had a bad one that seemed to have e. coli or something else that made us sick. The irrigation water used locally is not always unpolluted. He has tried to grow melons but is not successful usually. I miss melons BUT we have plenty of other fruit so make do without it. I hope the pain specialist will have ideas to help your husband. Fingers crossed surgery will not be necessary on Bob's back.
JUNE: Thank you for starting the thread!
BEE: How fun to be expecting a visitor! Enjoy!!!
MJ: How many grandchildren total do you have? How fun to have Milla's birthday to enjoy...what plans are there to celebrate?
I am soon going to be doing my thirty minutes of walking and other exercises...it is a good day!

Good morning friends. Slept well and woke up refreshed. It's been a long time since that has happened and I'm most grateful So far it's dry and overcast here. Sun is supposed to grace us today and I hope it makes it. MJ I didn't realize that you were blessed with 7 GK. Enjoy the bday party for MissMilla today. Becky good luck at Walmart with the exchange and browsing around. We are going to the larger one as I want to get my second pair of glasses adjusted. They keep sliding around. Cathy You are right...the scale will move when it' ready to. So long as you are feeling well eating well and remaining OP it will happen. Waving...and will CBL

LOL I am not having a houseguest, she is coming because she wants to study the book of Daniel with me. We meet once a month to chat and catch up.
I am not one to entertain houseguests except my family.

Thursday’s goals Check for student work. Today is the target deadline for submitting work. I left a bit of a buffer in case of a frenetic last- minute e-mail. Was pretty interesting to discover more about how Med. Advtg. works. Did not take much time at all.
Going to enjoy a nice bubble bath.

Still pretty nice out there. Coffee is done day is planned and tracked and in a bit we'll 'hit the pavement' for a hood walk. After that we'll run errands. Carl is going to mow our neighbor's lawn later today. I'll see what mischief I can muster up while he's out doing that MJ I hope the 'other shoe' drops very quietly June enjoy that bubble bath. Bee enjoy chatting discussing and catching up with your friend. Waving...........
