Good morning friends. Slept well and woke up feeling refreshed. It's been a long time since that's happened and I am most grateful.
Today we need to stop at Walmart so that I can finally get my eyeglasses adjusted. This pair keeps sliding down my nose and quite annoying. While there, I'll pick up a few things. Always something to get at Walmart LOL. On the way back we'll also hit Hannafords for produce.
We have no rain today and right now the sun has broken through the clouds. Win win. I'll also get some walking done as yesterday was a total wash out.
Waving and shall CBL

Hi Ann, I love how I can hear a "pep" in your step these days! Benjamin may have a lot to do with that! Benny and the Jets! :-)
I was up early, showered, doing laundry and dinner is already cooking for tonight. I am making foil packet BBQ chicken breasts with veggies. I started looking through recipes and I was getting into some complicated recipes when I decided to make it EASY! I love BBQ and this is one of Skinny Taste's easy ones. Paprika, garlic, BBQ sauce and frozen veggies in a heavy duty foil pack.
Well, the scale was down nearly 2 lbs today. Cha-cha! Hopefully, I will keep moving it down by doing the right things going forward.
Not much else to report for now. Breakfast was yogurt and raspberries. Have to eat them up since they are so perishable and so expensive to waste. Love them.
TTFN and have a great day. I'll BBL.

Oh, Ann - where do you get your glasses? DH needs a new pair and I thought maybe you got them at BJs or Walmart. Were you happy and which place did you use? He needs them just for his reading and middle distance. He'll probably get bifocals. The cataract surgery took care of his distance/driving needs!
Waving to Pam and Sue! Have a good one!

You will have to share a photo of Benny, Ann! Would love to see him. I'll bet he's a cutie.
I had most of a chicken breast for lunch. So good and so moist and tender done in foil. I'll have a salad for dinner and DH can have chicken. :-) I am never hungry in the morning. I love having a brunch type meal about 10:30 or 11. Do what works, right? :-)
Yes, you were right, Ann! Weight is so funny and I don't mean funny ha ha! It goes up and down at random. I just want to get away from so much cha cha - back and forth and up and down with the same 2 lbs. And I will!

We are back from Walmart and Hannaford's. Both weren't busy and we were able to get all we needed. Only thing is no tomatoes on the vine and I won't get the other ones. To me they are tasteless. Oh well...I'll check later in the week. It's nice that Hannaford's is so close by. Funny I am always hungry in the a.m. If I dilly dally too much I have to eat before coffee!!!!! Black coffee on an empty tummy is rather harsh for me to handle. glad that you enjoyed the chicken for lunch and a salad for supper. I agree..whatever works and if you likeit, repeat the process LOL. Yes I shall take pictures and will share them. I can't wait to hold him

Ann, I just got to thinking...wouldn't it be something if Lula and Bennie were from the same litter? Do you know where Lula came from? Ha ha...you just never know!
And, I only buy tomatoes on the vine, too! They have at least a little more taste.

Good Afternoon, WW Friends ~
I am finished with school for another week. We have only 15 more days! I am ready for a break!
I got a text this morning about some short staffing, so I went in early and helped out then stayed a few minutes over at the end of the day. All in all only an additional hour, but I feel it.
I did enjoy reading. I am reading a Time Travel romance novel and it is very good. I will probably finish it at home this weekend??
I went for a walk as soon as I came home so already got that done. I have a top sirloin steak marinating in Teriyaki sauce, and DH will make his famous salad when he gets home and George Foreman will grill the steak.
Tomorrow I have some chores to do, some paperwork to take care of, and a bit of shopping. It will be a busy day. Saturday my VBF and I are headed to Frankenmuth (MI) for a day trip. We are celebrating her December and my January birthday. Nothing was open then, so we decided to postpone it until nicer weather and when more shops and restaurants are open.
BBL. Make a great day!

I caught the 'cleaning bug' while Carl was out mowing Jean and Brian's lawn. Steam cleaned the floors did both bathrooms sanitized the kitchen ran the vac and dusted. Switched the tarts in the Scentsy burners so when Benjamin comes he can do the 'white glove test' LOL. I was happy to get all of that done. Just haven't been in the mood to do it. Now it's lookin' and smellin' good in here Judy I did think of that. Stephanie is from New York and got him from a breeder there and LuLa was from Arkansas. Just ironic that they have the same bday. Sue sounds like you had a very long work day. Happy that you have a break now. Enjoy your book and especially your time celebrating both bdays with your friend tomorrow. Sounds like a wonderful thing to do ... especially waiting till nicer weather when more shops were open. Win win situation. We are having grilled pork chops homemade sf applesauce mixed veggies and a Rhodes French roll for supper. It's really nice out, so we may dine in the screen room We love sitting out there. After supper we may take another walk. I'll see if Carl is up to it. Waving..............

Back again. Supper is one and done and took our final walk of the day. It's nice out there. We did eat in the screen room which was wonderful.
Forgot to mention...when I went to have my eyeglasses adjusted I mentioned to her about the glasses fogging up from wearing the mask. She suggested Zeiss Fog Defender System. I bought it, sprayed it on and so far so good. Just thought I'd pass on that tidbit of information.
Time to sit and relax.
