Good morning WW friends. Again I slept well and woke up refreshed. Feeling both grateful and blessed.
Today shall be a nice laid back day with absolutely no agenda. That has a nice ring to it. Going to take a few walks as it's nice and sunny out there today. Rest of the day will be spent getting our hearts ready for Benjamin.
Need to plan and track my day.........but that'll happen after coffee
Waving.

Sunny day...and it's nice to see another good one. I was up early and going because the painter came over early to look at work to be done. He's going to send an estimate for the three upstairs bedrooms and he also knows a guy who refinishes the wood floors upstairs. I hope his price is reasonable - if so, he can do it in June. If we can list this palace (hahaha) by the end of June, we will be very happy. In the meantime, we have our work cut out for us. Now is the time we wish we owned NOTHING! Decisions, decisions on what to donate, what to dump and what to take. It's a lot to think about. The bedrooms will all be a very light gray. We should have done our own bedroom a long time ago, but we never got around to it. It still has dated wallpaper on the walls. Oh well...not for long!
I am going to head to the grocery in a few minutes. I am out of F&Vs as Sue calls them. No bananas, no apples and no berries! No good! Plus I need salad ingredients. I'll hit Stop & Shop. It's practically just a walk away. I will miss this convenience when we move with 4 stores within a mile or two. Again, oh well..I will just plan better and the stores are still convenient there - about 3 miles.
Ann, wasn't there a movie with a Benji in it? The little terrier of some sort? I forget now! Sunday will be here soon. I don't think I know a better dog lover than you - well, we might be in a tie! :-)
TTFN and have a good one all.

Judy sounds like you do have your work cut out for you. It will all fall in place. I'm excited for you guys.
I did the F&V's yesterday. Great feeling. Today is low key and shall remain so.
We enjoyed our second cup of coffee listening to BJ Thomas via Alexa. Nice trip down memory lane.
I think there was a Disney movie Benji. Yup we do love our fur babies.
I will walk in a bit. Looks like such a pretty day.

Back from a good hood walk. It's nice out there today. After lunch I shall either curl up on the sectional with my kindle or hit the screen room. Either way it'll be relaxing Just what the doctor ordered. Will CBL

Good Afternoon, WW Friends ~
TGIF!! I have been busy, busy this morning and included a pedi and updating our local newspaper on DH's tablet for him, and took a walk in the sunshine. It is promising rain later, so it was now ....
I have some errands to run but wanted to get walking and everything behind me first. I will do some more when I return. Breakfast was FF Greek yogurt & blackberries w/F1 on top. Lunch is Veggie/Bean soup. I haven't had any all week and it is really hitting the spot!!
Ann ~ I know you are getting excited about your new family member!
Judy ~ I am so delighted for you having someone else do your painting and floors! Yay!!
Pam ~ Hope all is well with you.
I better get moving or I won't get my errands done in a timely fashion. Later .....

Sue you've been busy. Hope you get all your errands done.
I am so enjoying my laid back day. Carl is outside chatting with our new next door neighbor Paul. He's an auto mechanic and Carl worked as an auto body man back in the day so they are sharing stories. He bought Harriet's house. It's nice to have good neighbors.
Yes Benjamin is coming at the perfect time. Mother's Day.
I went freezer diving and found meat sauce and a few meatballs. I pulled that out as it will make a perfect meal on Sunday. All I'll add is a salad and garlic bread. And pasta of some sort of course 🤩

Hi All~
I have been out today and wouldn't you know it? Our weather has been on-again-off-again between sunshine and then rain and wind. My DH was doing a big repair job up the road at a bakery called Klever Kreations. They make cakes and cookies and lots of specialty stuff. He invited me to come up and keep him company while he worked (outside) and I did. First I went to Meijer and grocery shopped then came home and put everything away. Then I did a test run to the Park 'N Ride where I'm supposed to meet my VBF tomorrow morning. I kinda knew where it was, and DH kinda knew where it was, and I didn't want to be searching tomorrow. So I drove there and it was much easier to find than I anticipated! Then I went back to the bakery and spent a couple of hours visiting with DH and with the owner and her niece (who was working on specialty cookies. When the third round of storms kicked up I decided to come home.
Tonight I am making Tuna Macaroni casserole for supper. It will be a nice cold, wet night supper.
Good night to all!

Sue so happy that you did the 'trial run' so tomorrow you'll know exactly how to get there. Very wise of you. Out weather was sunny then it got very cloudy and windy. We didn't get rain and I was grateful for that. At one point I thought for sure the sky was going to open up. We were quite a ways from home and made our way back in a hurry. Wouldn't you know, as soon as we got in and got settled the sun came back out again. Oh well....I am 'jammified' so that was our last walk of the day. Nice that you got to visit at the pastry shop. Your Tuna Macaroni casserole sounds wonderful. I too am going to call it a day as far as posting is concerned. I want to get back to my kindle Sweet dreams and see y'all tomorrow.
