Ann I can just imagine how excited you must be.
June Good luck with submitting grades. Kenneth does love to grill so when weather is just right he loves to get out there.
Thanks LaDonna. Have a great weekend.
Cathy I hope you enjoyed talking to your DD.
MJ Enjoy your day.
Audrey Yes I'm still helping with all the cattle. It's really hot and humid out there today so I hope they come when called.
We went to Walmart this morning and they didn't seem that busy while shopping. I was in the garden center for awhile but didn't find anything I liked. Everything looked pretty well dead so I told Kenneth to meet me and we would check out. The lines were so long even with associates helping people(One helped us last time so I know they are willing) that I wasn't willing to wait in line that long and left everything in my basket. I didn't have anything cold in it so I didn't feel bad about leaving it. It's not their fault. It's the day before Mother's Day. We went to the local nursery and they had good looking plants but they also had a long line although not as long as WM. I told Kenneth we would just go home so I came home with nothing. I have been off today anyway.

Good to get the schoolwork out of the way June. Smart to buy the roofing supplies now while on sale. Since COVID, building materials have been skyrocketing in price, at least around here. Enjoy your not do much day. The rescue has a private FB page where we upload pictures and updates and hear about the latest adoptions. I get lots of comments from her previous foster and the 2 gals that run the rescue. Audrey - Beautiful flowers! Enjoy your walk. What an annoyance about the delivery. Ann - Happy and safe travels. I can't wait for a follow up. Becky - Shopping for plants on Mother's Day weekend around here is a frenzy. 45 years ago I got married on Mother's Day and my biggest headache was getting flowers and that was a year in advance! LaDonna - Enjoy the birthday celebrations. Sounds like a nice easy plan for tomorrow. Cathy - Enjoy the time with your daughter. MJ - Happy transplanting. I hope you have a truck and rollers to move the fridge. Lily and I got in a 3 mile walk this morning and the handyman came early. Lily is quite nonplussed by the red gazebo cover and doesn't know how to get to it. LOL. The funeral mass was quite beautiful. When we got to the repast, one of my besties was surprised to see me. She forgot I am close friends with one of the daughters as she is with another one. So we sat with her and her husband and their friends whom I have known casually for years. Food was a lovely buffet but far from healthy. It's one meal so I just enjoyed it fully and will move on. Dinner will be a light salad.

I hope you have a truck and rollers to move the fridge. Son#2's pickup truck (GMC Canyon). Contractor's hand truck (borrowed; it was still at their house). SonIL's 2 brothers to help move/load at the MousekeHouse, Son#2 & DSonIL to unload and bring it in at Son#1's house. We supervised. Yes, really. After they left, we took the Kressling and the Zigster to Home Depot to get the first round of mulch for Son#1's yard - and to get parsley and dill and basil for the Zigster, who wants to grow "plants that grow FOOD." The tomato and pepper plants will come next week, and we will also share some of our butterfly garden specimens with him. Of course, after lunch we and the Kressling cleaned and re-organized the whole garage. T-G it's only a one-car, although used as a storage room.

OMG Benjamin is such a love We feel both blessed and grateful to have such a wonderful addition to our home. I can tell how loved he was as he came with toys bowls leads leashes food treats a sweater a coat and a Boston Monopoly game. Also a Boston Terrier candle and two Boston terrier dish towels. She had her daughter and son with her and the baby was left at home with her husband. All were crying when they had to give him up. (Carl and I as well) We stopped on the way home to stretch our legs and Benjamin performed very well. We walked him twice so far and already he is a big hit in our retirement community. He's a lot smaller than LuLa and Luigi. He loves playing with his toys and wants you to play ball with him. He will most definitely keep us on our toes. I'm very tired and now going to sit and relax. I need to read over the medical papers that Stephanie also enclosed. She thought of everything. We've been in touch via text. Sent her a few pictures of him adjusting as she wants to keep in touch. Sorry for no personals. Having a hard time concentrating Sweet dreams all.

Got some sad news today, so just been in my own little world acclimating to it. (Nothing wrong with me except sadness.) Life is short, live it to the fullest. Had a nibbling day, not sure what is for supper.
Praying ALL have a good evening.
