Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Was supposed to see ENT this morning, she had an emergency so I had to reschedule my appointment for next week.
Will do some laundry this morning. Weather seems to be taking a turn for the better, so I need to get ready for warmer weather wear. Capris are ready to wear, now I need to get my tops all set. Also just need to freshen some things a bit.
DSILs nephew put a bid on a house on my street, Bid way over asking price and we’re not even close. I’m so disappointed, would have been nice to have his family living in the area. Oh well ...
Will definitely get out for a walk later, too nice a say not to. And I’m back to my 3:30 start time so no excuses.
Enjoy your day. See ya tomorrow

Gmorning~ (((hugs))) Heater person coming out today so had to get totally dressed. Was in kitchen yesterday - pork ribs (crockpot), chicken thighs(oven-DH lunches), oatmeal raisin cookies (oven-DH spoiled). Without DH around, I swept all the floors this morning. Hoping to get a load of laundry started soon. Almost time for work to start. Back to the saltmines.....

Good morning all. So sorry I missed posting this weekend. We left Friday right after lunch and drove to DD’s house (3 hrs). They ordered in Mexican food for dinner and that was really good. On Saturday morning we went to see DGD Kira’s house (she & Zach are renting from his parents, a house they lived in for about a year before buying a bigger house for their 6 kids at home!); DSIL’s parents arrived there and it was wonderful to see them for the first time in about 2 years. They are great people and we really enjoy being with them!! Then we all went back to DD’s and one of the twins came for lunch. She had to leave for work and then the other twin and her boyfriend came over for dessert. So we got to see everyone in their neck of the woods. Came home yesterday in the early afternoon. But since I only had gotten about 2 hrs of sleep on Saturday night, I was just wiped out by the time we got home and did not much. I read the Sunday paper and got it recycled. Overall it was a great weekend.
Joy, that would have been nice to have extended family so close! Houses here are going for WAY over asking price also. Hope your work week goes well.
Martha sounds like your typical weekend in the kitchen. I should start doing more prep on the weekends, but I don’t like many leftovers so can’t do much cooking ahead. Hope your work week goes well also!
Dottie, Stan is down at the dealership where we bought the Outback getting a price quote on how much they will pay us to buy it back! He figured if he got 3 quotes he had done his due diligence. Ah, sounds like the garage door is going up, he’s back!
Laundry and some bill paying and some cleaning on the agenda for today. Picking up Mara tomorrow for a few days.
Have a good day all. Will check back later!

Joyce, that is too bad that DSIL’s nephew didn’t get the house. It is a crazy housing market all over. Still cool here but at least it is partially sunny. Enjoy your walk.
Martha, you are so great about prepping food for the week on the weekend. I really enjoy ribs, but not very good at making them. I also like chicken thighs but Bill only will eat the chicken breasts so I don’t cook them often.
Ruth, it sounds like you had an enjoyable weekend with family. I’m sure it is nice to catch up with everyone. Let us know who Stan sells the car to. He is definitely doing his homework on the car sale.
I had a 9 o’clock doctor appoint with my PCP. I need to go for blood work one morning, it is supposed to be a fasting blood test. She didn’t think I needed to come back in 6 months so I have an appointment for a year from now if I don’t have any problems. When I got home I called the town to do another bulk pick up on Thursday. The only problem with that is we are so close to the beginning of the route that they are usually here between 5:30 and 6:00 – but at least it will be some more items gone. Also called the senior center to make an appointment for shredding some more of our documents, that is Friday morning. We went thru 2 boxes of old income tax files (some from the 70s) and also some investment files. It took us both a long time to go thru and take the things with SSN out and put those papers in the shred pile. Our recycling bin is almost full and so is our trash bin-we are making some progress, slow but sure.
