June - Glad you could sleep in. Hope you found some good produce. Becky - I hope you got your walk in. Audrey - Can the teacher be reported? It's one thing to dislike a teacher and quite another to be afraid of the teacher. Sounds like she should be reassigned. Sorry about your friends. Cathy - Love the visual. Enjoy your stir fry Love the visual of Benjamin, Ann. Charlie was an under the covers dog. Lily is not. Glad he is bringing smiles all around. I think most pets are food motivated. MJ - LOL about 1/2 the chair. Glad you had a "normal" day yesterday and same scheduled for today. Bee - I'm so sorry about your friend's daughter. Waiting for the payroll rep to call. Only 2 employees affected this week, fortunately though not their actual pay. I'm sure tech support will ultimately need to get involved. This is a global change that they made and since we don't have employee onboarding, it's an issue for us and takes extra steps

Susi hopefully IT will get involved and get the situation straightened out.
LOL to Charlie being an under cover dog. Both Luigi and Benjamin loved the covers. Luigi would sleep under all the covers in the winter and wanted a sheet on him in the summer. LuLa on the other hand would only tolerate one blanket on her and when she got hot she would wiggle her way out of it and lay on her back LOL. Like her mom she didn't play well with heat. Funny how they are same breed but altogether different with their own unique personalities.
We did take a short hood walk. It was less windy but still too much for me to handle. Tomorrow is another day.

Audrey I hope Leo's transfer is finalized soon. I just can't believe his teacher is still able to teach. Can someone put in a complaint against her I wonder. I'm sorry about your friends.
Cathy Good for you on the clothes. That is always a good feeling and is a better sign of losing weight than the scale. I don't think collecting dimes was a thing. My dad just liked doing them for the kids when they were young. My dear niece's birthday is today.
Ann Yea on the sunshine. It's been cloudy and windy today with a light to moderate shower earlier. One of our lawn chairs fell over but it didn't go flying. I did get my walk in and Walmart was fine. They had put in new registers that are much easier to check yourself out.
June Thank you for the kind words about my niece in-law. She is very bright. Her husband, my nephew did not get his smarts from his father(my DB)LOL but from his mom who went to the UT school of nursing and is an RN to this day even though she is in a wheel chair or on a walker most of MS. She and my brother divorced years ago and she basically raised their 2 boys years ago so I am so happy he found his soul mate.Glad you were able to sleep late.
MJ I'm glad yesterday wasn't too bad. LOL on 1/2 chair.
Susi I hope they get the payroll cleared up soon. I know Lily enjoyed the extra playtime. Scooter is only 7 but she just doesn't play much anymore. We do have a small yard and have it fenced in but still plenty of room for her to play.
Bee I'm so sorry about your friends daughter. Prayers.

Becky that's wonderful that Walmart installed easier to use self check out. Ours aren't bad. The 'tricky part' is getting their flimsy bags apart!!!!! For some reason they don't allow you to bring your own bags into the store. Glad you got your walk in.

Ann Scooter is not an undercover dog. I can just see Benjamin under the covers with just his nose sticking out. I know he gets lots of loving and I'm glad people have been so happy for you and Carl.
Susi I am glad nobody's paycheck is being affected. Hope it's fixed soon.
It looks like the rain is over now. We can always use rain but we were under a severe t-storm watch. So happy that didn't happen.
My DN posted a picture of her and her oldest daughter on Facebook today after her DD wished her a happy birthday and it's not fair. My DN looks younger than her oldest DD. You would never think she has been through all those surgeries.

Ann Our Walmart does let customers bring their own bags in. There has been talk about doing away with their plastic bags eventually but I haven't heard when. We always take insulated bags for there and HEB. After the previous customer left the register an employee went and sorted out two plastic bags so they would be easier to use. They are really trying hard even though even the managers didn't want to go to self checkout.

Hopefully they will get better bags. I've seen where people try to open bags before scanning and leave merchandise behind if the bags don't open. Your DN must be a beautiful gal.

Becky, our Walmart still doesn't let us bring our bags in. I had them so the checker put everything unbagged into the cart, and I bagged them when I got to the car. Becky, your DN sounds amazing.
