Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Got in a nice walk yesterday, planning another one for today.
Martha - I agree - you do do well with meal prepping. I need to fo that more often. I might make oatmeal raisin cookies sometime this week, sounds good.
A trip to the grocery store is on today’s agenda. Planning 2 chicken meals this week. Stir fry with peppers and onions over brown rice; chicken , zucchini, yellow squash, onions and baby potatoes (sheet pan meal).
Dottie - you are making such good progress getting rid of things. Our recycling pickup is this week and I finally have a full tote to take to the curb. I have some cardboard boxes I need to break down.
And I’ll spend some time in the basement today. Trying to get back to the 1 hour a day schedule. Right now it’s mostly going through bins, still too much stuff. Glad office girl is moving later this month, a few things will be off the shelf.
Enjoy your day

(((HUGS))) Sorry to hear your extended family was unable to buy house close by. Glad to hear the de-cluttering process still motating forward. I soak my raisins in hot water until soft before draining & then mixing in. DH also asked for soft baked cookies. Somehow I did that this time. I planned on finishing baking cookies during lunch. Didn't count on heater guys showing up just before I started. I still baked the last of the dough. Started eating leftovers for lunch. Here the heater guys came & showed me what was up with heater. So, took much longer lunch than had planned. (((hugs))) Glad families were able to get together. What a change the last year has gone thru! work - I have project just about ready for bosses. I'm sure they have more 'projects' for me. (((HuGs))) Off to shower before starting the workday. . . PS - I won't be online tomorrow morning as I have a 7:30am appt to get 2nd vax. (((hUgS)))

Joyce, that’s great that you are getting your walks in. Your sheet pan meal sounds great. Do you use chicken breasts for the meal? We still have lots and lots of stuff even though we have gotten rid of lots of stuff.
Martha, that is great that you can be home when service people come to the house. Since the job I worked at the longest was 5 minutes from the house I always could get home after they called and be there for the service people. Fortunately it usually worked out fine, sometimes the problem was way over my head and then I would have them talk to Bill. Good luck with your second dose tomorrow.
Waving to Ruth, will try to check back later to see if you checked in.
Busy morning so far. I steamed the kitchen, powder room and hallway floor this morning. It really needed it. I also found some dog items in the garage from when DS#2 had a dog and the dog would be with him a lot. I cleaned everything and since I don’t think he plans on getting another dog, I want to ask him if the bowls, collars and leashes can go in the donate pile. Still no new properties to look at, I did go thru the listing yesterday and found ones that met some of our requirements. I want to track them, asking price, how long they take to sell and what they actually sell for. We really don’t want to get in a bidding war, but it looks like that is the way things are happening now.
