Haven't been socializing lately because of the pandemic, but looking back I usually wasn't focused on the food in social situations. If I talk to myself I could control my eating. My main concern in social setting is are they having dessert type food (have a sweet tooth and since I don't have sweets at home I think it is okay to indulge when I go out).

It was a big focus when we got together each Wednesday to play cards. We looked forward to seeing what the hostess would cook and enjoyed eating together. That said, it could derail weight loss, that's for sure! I have a feeling that with the economic crunch in the country the meals will be less elaborate/expensive and food more basic BUT the main thing will be to get together again. We have always said it is not important WHAT is served but to be together is the ultimate joy of the day.

* Food to me in social settings is not real important because of the pandemic and I don't eat out that much anymore only when my kids are here. When my kids come home I pre journal food to be eaten out so I can stay on plan because it's really important for me to stay at goal.

The only thing important to me at that point is that itβs worth the points. π. My main focus over the last couple of years has been to enjoy celebrating the occasion/having the conversations.

Super important. DH and I are both foodies and so are all our friends. I enjoy finding great tasting food that fits my health and calorie requirements. And I love trying new foods.
