This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

Martha, I had chinese last night too. I was introduced to lettuce wraps. My kind of chinese food! What type of class are you taking?
I am happy to report that my scale is back down where it should be! I will only get in 4 BD's this week. My goal is to get the 4th BD today. We are headed to my mom's today, so it will be tricky. BUT I have done it before and know it can be done! I think I'll just drink a glass of water or something every time I go to take something I won't have planned. I want to save as many weeklies for Sunday's dinner as I can. I haven't really been working out this week either, so I don't have the usual amount of calories burned. I will have my lowest week ever in steps taken. The struggle is real.
What else?? Instead of going to my WW meeting Monday, I will go Tuesday (On Monday, I have a meeting with my advisor to go over upcoming strategies).
What happened to Melinda, Linda and Kate?
Since many of you are doing WW and have online access, did anyone do the weekly on how to deal with a setback? It really helped me, especially as I had a gain. My calendar also said this on April 10-Giving up on your goal because of one setback is like slashing your other three tires because you got a flat.
GTG. Have a great day!!

Good morning, Frieda, and following CaTs. I need to be a busybusy CaT but am here to say hi and spread cheer on this Good Friday. I have laundry going, have given an early am piano lesson and am officially on vaca until the 24th. So much to do I don't feel it yet. Have to do many chores, and plenty of packing. DMiL's for the weekend and then south to our town first, followed by DSis's new place they signed the papers on this am. Everything is crazy.
I am going down this week w just one blue dot, I feel sure. And nothing to brag about in the loss dept. I am hanging on and semi-tracking but not fully engaged. I just hope my family vacation doesn't put me over the edge of sanity and I can still think for myself. That sounds bad. Truth.
MCat, sorry to hear you've been sick - that's never fun. Glad you're better. What will Easter plans be? Frieda, good BD's for you this week and planning ahead to save weeklies for Sunday. I've heard that slashed tire visual - also, tripping on one stair doesn't mean throwing yourself down the rest, etc. Makes so much sense in the description, yet we do it when we throw away a day to no tracking and a "free-for-all".
I have one mtg left at each of the three I work. Yesterday , even the week, was hard to keep my concentration. I don't know where I am. Mind in too many places. Vacation is def needed. I started the training of new staff member who will be the new me at one post - she'll be great. And people were sad to hear I was going and happy for me. At last there is no one else to tell. I have had it with telling one more person.
What is everyone doing for Easter? Cooking? Going out? Being a guest? I am a guest, bringing an armload of veggies so they are represented at the meal. My DMiL will cook majority of it. DD and DS will both be there, delightfully for me.
Have a great day, All. Hope it's nice where you are.

Hi CATs! Great day at the beach.. sorry to say no BD got me today. A few too many adult beverages while out on the boat. But but no snacking. Oh well, I'll try again tomorrow!
