Happy to say that the roof is all done. They did a nice job and I'm sure Paul will be pleased. Two of the workers were Marines and Carl enjoyed talking to both of them. He gave them each key fobs.
Susi so happy that your tree guy did a good job. Nice they took out the stump that was bugging you. Happy planting.
We took a walk earlier and came back home. Carl just left to pick up something at Walmart. I didn't feel up to going to I chose to stay put with Benjamin. He is by my side as I type LOL.

LOL. . . This was my mindset regarding the printer I would systematically approach the printer issue. If I did not resolve it before going to bed, then it would be one more attempt. After that, I would donate it along with a note that the black ink catridge was new.
I did get it to accept both cartridges and happily mailed off the copies that I wanted to send a good friend.
Ann Nice that the coffee is extra good this morning. Hope the roof job is finsihed quickly.
I would love to tell you that the printer did not stand a chance, but it was involved. The PC issue is likely evolving I guess from Norton. The Blackboard IT consultant turned off the taped session and spoke to me privately about how own experience w/ software. I will see what I can do. Then if I am not successful, I will speak w/ Norton. Then also work w/ the university Tech desk next week. The other possibility is a new PC. We will see.
Cathy I am sending you some extra love and light and positive energy. You gooooooooo girl!
Yay on easily filing your taxes. I couldn't be mistaken, but I think the free filing was part of the American Rescue Plan. Susi Hoping that you find some really great plants at WM! Your vegetable garden seems to produce such a bounty of peppers and tomatoes.

Ann Love the story about Carl. Dad was a Marine, too. Happy smile thinking of Mr. B by your side as you type.

LOL June I vote for donating it along with a note Yes I do remember you mentioning that your dad was also a Marine. We just got back from another hood walk. Our weather is nice at times until the wind picks up and blows way too much pollen around. Luckily it didn't happen until we were under the carport where I made a bee line for the front door LOL. Now I'm 'safe' Mr. B surely does attach himself and follows us around. Too funny. I guess he's still a little insecure. That will fade in time I'm sure.

And, Cathy, I forgot to mention the Devil Horses or lubber grasshoppers, that show up in August.
You have to kill them when they are small, or they eat everything they can get to.

Bee You certainly have lots of swarming insects.
June I heard about the lottery but didn't know it was in Ohio. People shouldn't need to be bribed to get vaccinated. There seems to be problems with people going back for their second shots. I see the CDC has lifted mask requirements. It will be interesting to see how businesses adjust. It was nice to walk outside this morning even though it has been cloudy most of the day. Hope you were able to make the copies.
Ann It has been nice not to have not much pressing to do. We did go to Walmart. It was so nice too because I moved up to a self checkout register an employee rushed over there and asked if I would like her to clean and sanitize it first. They are really trying hard. LOL on Mr Meet & Greet. Glad the roof is done. That was so nice of Carl. Mr B loves his mama.
Cathy Congrats on the scale going down again. It has been nice. Not too cool and not too warm.
MJ Glad it's a good busy.
Susi Thanks. I have enjoyed today. That was nice of your tree guy to remove the tree stump. We should have gotten tomato cages before we planted because one was all over the ground but Kenneth put some metal stakes and tied it all together with the twine. We had to go to our local nursery to get tomato and cucumber plants. Our Walmart hasn't had a good selection and today they didn't even have very many flowers to plant.

Yesterday at Walmart, Becky, they no longer required masks.
Yes, we have lots of critter and swarming insects down this way.

The CDC is no longer requiring masks on fully vaccinated people except for crowded indoor places, planes and hospitals. Since there is no way to indicate a person has been fully vaccinated we are all now just on our own.

Audrey same deal here in MA and I was wondering the same thing. I just hope that with these new 'regulations' numbers don't start to spike. Just color me very afraid!
Bee I don't envy you your flying insects. We have enough of our own but I'm sure nothing compared to what you have. I tend to be a mosquito magnet...they just LOVE me and my blood.
Becky that is wonderful that your Walmart is taking care of business and putting safety first.
Going to take care of a few more things and then sit and read a bit.
