Good morning friends. Slept well and grateful. Nothing pressing on the agenda today. I shall do a little of 'this and that'.
Nice and sunny and I don't see trees moving or the flying monkeys so walking will happen.
Waving...and I'll CBL

Day is all planned and tracked. Had a veggie omelet for breakfast with a half Bay's English muffin and a clementine. Lunch will the the other half of the muffin with laughing cow light cheese and a cup of veggie bean soup and supper is loin pork chop the rest of the potato salad and French style green beans and carrots.
Such a pretty day out there.
Our new neighbor is having his roof done. They are almost finished just doing the clean up work. Mr. Benjamin will be happy when they are gone. He doesn't play well with loud noise.

Hi Ann,
I am with Benji. I don't play or work well with a lot of noise. LOL
It is a beautiful day and I hope to get out for a walk with D&D and also sit on the deck at noontime.
I had a weekly call with my boss. Looks like he is leaning towards having everyone back in the office in September. He's not too keen on the WFM long term idea. I understand where he is coming from, I guess.
We will head to the Cape on Saturday to see progress on the house. We haven't been in a few weeks. I wish I could shake this tired feeling. I went to bed early last night but have been feeling draggy today, too. I could literally fall asleep quickly if I sit down in an easy chair. I am going to check with my doctor because this is not normal for me. Thanks for the tip, Pam, on the COVID help.
DD in CA sent me some wonderful photos. She was modeling for a photographer friend who is building her portfolio. The "shoot" took place in a the Arizona Cactus Garden on the campus of Stanford U. They came out so beautiful! I'll send them if you'd like to see.
Bkfst was an egg and 1 slice of WW bread with a 1/2 tsp butter. I had some hummus and baby carrots for a snack and lunch will be a cup of leftover chili with a bit of shredded cheese on top. Dinner will be the cauliflower soup and salad. Drinking my water, too!
TTFN and have a good one all. No flying monkeys here yet, either, Ann! :-)

Hi Judy. I don't blame you for wanting to check with your PCP. Perhaps blood work will be scheduled. Your meals sound great. I know when I get 'run down' like that a steak will sometimes help. That may be worth a shot. Happy to say the roofers are done. Two of the brothers are Marines and Carl enjoyed talking to them. He also does up leather key fobs with the Marine corp signature on them and gave them each one. They were thrilled He went off to Walmart to pick up something he needed for something LOL...and I decided to stay put with Benjamin. He is beside me now as I type. We did get a walk in earlier and will go again later on. Speaking of tired.....I am. I'm sure it's from all the stress that I've been under. Tootles

Hello friends!
Judy - I would love to see the pics of your DD. I am with your DH on DGD's moods. I find Madison gets moody sometimes, but it usually turns out to be over something trivial, but important to her. I hope your doctor can offer some reassurance regarding the continued fatigue.
Ann - I am sure all will be happy when the neighbor's roof is done. The constant hammering is very irritating.
Sue - Waving and hoping all is well in your little part of the world.
DD1 and DD2 arrived safely in Detroit where DD3 met them. When we chatted they were at lunch, having Prosecco and a wonderful time. It did my heart good, though I wish we were with them.
DH's wound care appt. this morning went well. There was a lot less drainage than before and if it continues, we will move to one appt. per week, which would be great. The doctor suggested he kick his protein intake up a notch and see if it helps speed up healing, so DH will be adding lots of protein powder, protein bars and Muscle Milk to his diet.
After DH's appt. we stopped at Rouse's for groceries and sushi for his lunch. I am not a fan, so had a ham sandwich, veggies and an apple at home. I also got my walk done, grateful for sunshine and a cool breeze from the north. This afternoon I plan to get floors cleaned and mopped before heading to yoga class. Tomorrow is Grand Jury duty, so lunch will probably be provided, but limited in choices. DH and I have tentatively planned to go out for dinner tomorrow. Tonight's dinner will be leftover pork roast. I opted to have mine with brown rice and gravy, while DH plans to have his with bbq sauce and over a baked potato.
It seems all my volunteer work is gearing up for face-to-face by requiring all sorts of online training. I also have to get my CPR updated this year. I am SSSOOOO happy the CDC has finally decreed we can ditch the masks!!!! It's the best news in a long time!

Doggone it, I just my entire post when I was bumped off my VPN. Oh well...in a synopsis, here I go again.
Pam, great to hear from you. You must have a happy heart knowing your three girls are together in MI. I am sure DD#3 must be over the moon to have her sisters with her. How great! I always wanted a sister so I love hearing about them. I wanted a "big" sister all the time growing up. :-)
Glad you DH is doing well with his wound healing and the protein supplements, too. You inspire me to do some volunteering when I do retire. I will need to branch out and meet folks when we move and that's a great way to start. I am glad I am bringing you three with me as we women need our "girlfriends." My women friends mean the world to me.
I will email you the modeling session photos. There are many of them so don't feel you have to look at all of them! I love the background of the Arizona Cactus Garden on the campus of Stanford.
Ann, enjoy your time with Benjamin.
I am feeling a little perked up now but I did have a rest at about 1 pm. Just a few minute nap. I am listening to music now - Taylor Swift. I know folks make fun of her, but I enjoy some of her songs. She livens things up. I think she is very talented!
Hi Sue - hope you are well!
TTFN...

Pam good to see you. Nice job on getting your walking in with a good cool breeze Our weather is running 'hot and cold' which is typical for us. I started out with a light sweater and took it off and put it on several times the first time around. Just got back from a second walk where it's beautiful. I was sitting in the screen room and the wind started blowing too strong so I had to go back inside. Like I say...very strange indeed. Good luck with Grand jury duty. Carl had to serve and he enjoyed it...up until there was a brutal murder case. I hope yours isn't that gruesome. I'm also not a fan on sushi. Your supper sounds delish. I agree with Judy...so wonderful that all your 3 DD's are together having a great time Judy sometimes a little cat nap perks you up. Happy it did the trick for you. Absolutely HATE losing a post...especially a lengthy one. Sue hope all is well with you and DH. If I don't make it back into the cafe catch y'all tomorrow and sweet dreams
