Good morning.
This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here.

Good morning everyone. I decided to take a mental health day today. I will probably regret it later but I swear I just need a break. I am getting a pedicure later on this afternoon and do the Sam's club shopping afterwards. I am really looking forward to tomorrow and tomorrow night. Fingers crossed that nothing major happens to keep us from going out. I talked to Dsis and she is coming as long as she can find gas. As of yesterday 70% of NC was out of Gas. I did talk to my Dson and he is on standby if sis can't make it. He said he would come stay with Dad. That will work but I am not 100% sure he will know what to do if there is an emergency - I don't THINK there would be one but I guess you never know. HP welcome to our little group. I hope you will post with us often and I am looking forward to getting to know you. Dad doesn't have a UTI. They check him for everything when we go into the VA. He is an alcoholic and he hasn't been drinking so we are going through withdrawal and he has the shoulder issue. You aren't overstepping - all advice and comments are welcome and appreciated. You never know what you might over look being close to a situation that someone else might see. I am happy to report Dad has only had 1 drink in 11 days. I am over the moon excited about that. He has done so well with not drinking. I know he is in a lot of pain and he still craves the alcohol. He is so much more alert and pleasant to be around. He says he still wants to drink. Once he stops taking the oxy for the pain there is something he can take for the cravings but we have to wait for him to be off the oxy for at least 10 days. Lora sorry for the delays with the kayaks. I completely understand wanting the water to be warmer I am experiencing the same sort of thing with the gas. My little stations near my house have gas but when I go into town a lot of the stations do not have gas. Sorry for the poofing post - that is so frustrating. RobinMD sorry for being shorthanded at work. Enjoy your weekend off. Janet enjoy your WFH day. I am finding more and more that I don't get as much done when I am working at home as I do when I am in the office. I am so much less distracted when I am in the office. I plan on trying to work some this weekend to do my best to catch up some. I may not even open my email until I catch up so I won't be distracted with incoming emails. Waving to everyone. Hope you all have a fabulous Friday!

Thank you to everyone for the kind welcome. Jarmstrong, I'm glad that they checked your dad for a UTI. I just always want to warn people because I never knew they could do so much damage and about the dementia. I'm sorry to hear about his struggle with alcohol. I've had addicts in my family and I know how hard that is. I hope you can have a night out. Hpeterson is my screen name because that's just my email. My real name is Heather. I'm an Autism Support Middle school teacher in Central PA in my late 40's. I lost around 50 pounds 9 years ago. My father died of direct complications of morbid obesity, he was 600 pounds. I went to WW immediately and lost the weight mostly out of anger. I finally got over my anger and slowly got into old practices again. I used to be on the old WW boards to and came over when these started, but didn't really explore a lot of the different threads. I look forward to getting to know everyone

Hello Everyone....got up and went to my outdoor ex class. I have nothing else planned today until HH at 5:30. I am thinking about going to a WW meeting tomorrow just so I can WI and update maintain my FREE lifetime status.
Jana - I surely hope your DS can find gas and get here to stay with your Pops. How wonderful that he has only had 1 drink. IF (and I know that is a big IF) the fall ends up causing him to stop drinking, it will have been a "God send." How are you and Robin doing? Enjoy the get-away!!
Heather - nice to see you back this morning. This is a great and very supportive group!

Hello ROs, Happy Friday.... I am so happy to have the whole weekend off! I don't usually get excited about Friday, because of work. I did leave a little bit early yesterday, but there was a tractor-trailer fire on the interstate. Luckily, because I left early, traffic hadn't backed up to the one exit where I could bail out and take a different way home. It is a little longer, but a pretty drive, so I opened up the sunroof and enjoyed the trip! I might leave a few minutes early today, too. I am doing a covid clinic (a few J&J shots, but the rest are getting their 2nd Moderna). A steady stream of arms today! Heather, hello and welcome! Boy, have we all been there....thus, the Repeat Offenders name. I'm starting a new diet plan on Monday, with a coach and a lot of support, so I am encouraged to be mixing things up and making the changes I need to make. Susie, hope you can make it to your meeting tomorrow, to keep your FREE status! Are you bothered by pollens at all, when you exercise outside? I am a hot mess with my allergies right now. Jana, glad you have a back up person for tomorrow night, so you can have your time with DH! I hope your "mental health day" was a good one for you I need to get things caught up a little. I might be back this evening, but definitely tomorrow. Everyone have a great Friday evening! RobinMD

Hi Everyone,
Had a good day at home for the most part. Cassie kept me company. The training was good, etc. My non-partner as usual a pain but what else is new ..
Jana, hope that you can get away for a break and that either your sister or son will be okay with watching out for your father.
Robin Md, enjoy your weekend without work.
I talked with my sister in Isreal this morning. While she and her oldest daughter and family are ok one of their sons live where there is all the destruction going on but they have gone to the north where there are volunteers who shelter them in their homes or nearby. They have a standing invitation to live with my sister or nearby with my niece's family.
That is about it. I started another book by the same author as the one I just finished.
Have a restful night!
