Hello everyone
Been busy in the house. In a decorating mood. Worked on china cabinet. Looking so much better. DD#1 wants a couple of items I don’t want any more. Posted on roll call what I am thinking about doing.
Also got out a vintage wood table top radio that was my dads. Its 15” wide and 10” high. It’s been in the hall cabinet for 6 years with a cloth covering it. I never really looked at it. Was shocked how beautiful it is. Put it on top of my moms bookcase and it’s the same wood. Looks like it belongs together. My moms bookcase is only 4’ high with a cute glass door with wood panes. Love it. She got it for her 8th grade graduation from her parents. This was exciting. Lol. It’s in the avatar photo.
Cleaned out my closet today. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was. Didn’t find much to get rid of.
DD#2 texted hubby to remind him to watch the horse race today. Glad she reached out and contacted him. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon.
Lin- we are not hot here. Was misty this morning. Today was 68. Tomorrow 64. Weird weather.

LIN - your temps are way high - stay safe. Your dinner sounds good to me, do you use Canned Chili? Portulaca are a favorite of mine - my grandfather planted those and Pansies in his flower beds. MAR - an old radio - sounds like you have a good spot for it. I have my mom's - wood, table model and uses tubes - slow to warm up naturally, nice sound and a small record player can plug into it. NO, I don't use it - there is a Radio Club I contacted some years ago, they have members interested in the radio- tho it is not rare. It is old, late 30's. They have tubes too if you need them .
The 80% rain failed to happen - so did not start the planting - very impressed with the fabric pots tat arrived from Amazon today...will put the Nasturtiums in 2 of the pots - set them inside the tree ring. Have the new mulch - still sitting....must get started on flowers, mulch and get shrubs trimmed. Waving to Betty and Phyl... EVERYONE sleep well and have a Sunday full of blessings.
