We've made it to Pensacola beach and it is just beautiful. Ft. Pickens Gulf Islands National seashore later in the week to see the Blue Angels. I enjoyed Montgomery Ala much more than I thought I would. We toured the Hank Wms museum and memorial where he and his wife Audrey are buried as well as saw so many beautiful historic buildings(such as Union Station) in the downtown area. Lots of music venues, bands playing, etc. Very cool place.
June, enjoy the fire. you and R sound like you enjoy a lot of the same things Randy and I do. Also thanks for the start I also posted this yesterday but it may have been too late LOL hope everyone is well. Hard for met post from phone.
Bee, I am so sorry about your friends daughter. I know you can relate to what she is going through. ((((HUGS)))) and prayers.
Ann, I hope you can get info On Benjamin's eye.
SUsi, I bet your dad's cousin will enjoy the risotto what a treat!
Cathy, I knew the scale would start up again!
Becky how awesome your neighbor could repair the lawn mower. That grass can get out of hand quick.
Mj, enjoy the bday party.
Audrey, how awful about your groomer's house. wow!

June, thanks for the start. LaDonna, it sounds like you are having a wonderful trip. Becky, Iβll KOKO too. Yesterday I weeded the front yard and today Iβll work in the back. Thereβs more to do so I may not get it all done. Laura is joining us for dinner because Jeremy is taking the kids to visit his parents, the first time in in 16 months. Bob is grilling petrale sole and Iβll make English peas with mint and Greek salads. Yesterday was only 77 and Iβm hoping for the same today.

Good morning all. Another great night sleep.
Thanks for the start June. Hope you enjoy a wonderful Sunday.
LaDonna I am familiar with Pensacola. My dear friend and her husband lived in a mobile home park there and Carl and I visited them for a week many years ago. Such a pretty area. I remember the Blue Angels putting on an amazing performance. Enjoy.
Becky I shall KOKO right along with you.
Audrey nice that Laura is joining you for dinner. Sounds wonderful. Hopefully your temperature remains in the 70's.
Waving and shall CBL

Prayers continue for you and your loved ones, and thank you for your prayers for me and mine...

And for all who mourn the passing of Bee's friend's DD...

Yesterday's YM drill was long and active - 8 AM to 1:30 PM outdoors in Merrill Park. The YMs did their quarterly PFT (physical fitness training/testing), including running a mile. No, this Diva don't run (for a variety of reasons) π€£ππ€£. But I am somewhat sun-kissed (fortunately not sunburned) and was on my feet and moving for all that time, so I did earn some APs. Son#1 & DDIL didn't leave for Nugget the Dachshund's birthday bash until 4 PM so we were able to take the Kressling home after feeding him and not to Bayonne. And we even caught quite a bit of NASCAR Xfinity's race at Dover DE, including some wild (but driver-injury-free) crashes.
Today? We'll be heading to the MousekeHouse to work on two more evergreens. We'll see if the Mice want to help us. Our goal is to get that area stripped out so MissMouse & Spouse can start to visualize the changes they want there. NASCAR Cup series (Dover DE) starts at 2 PM so we'll try to keep an eye on the clock. I'm not sure what's on TV tonight but I know we can find something, and I expect that we'll have an early bedtime (can't imagine why...).
Dinner tonight? No idea.
Right now... coffee... βοΈβοΈβοΈ... and morning prayer...
πππ¦ππππ¦ππππ¦ππππ¦ππ Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! πππ¦ππππ¦ππππ¦ππππ¦ππ

Goooood morning
LaDonna Loving that that the first leg of your Gulf coast trip was better than you expected. I felt that way about Nebraska when we travelled on the aoregon Road. I can just picture my dad listening to HWβs record βYour Cheating Heartβ Cannot wait to hear more about your much-deserved road Trip.
Susi Wow... that is a terrific promotion at your gym. Nice that Carol will join you for weekend classes. The more the merrier! If I spoke βdog,β then I tell lily that she will have a lot of outdoor time & fun,
Becky Am glad that you can walk more comfortably than last year. I had hoped that was the case. Thank goodness for willing hands to help fix the lawnmower. It is hard enough to keep a lawn under control in the spring. R mowed twice this week. Bee Will continue to hold your dear friend and you in my thoughts and prayers. Mj How was the YMβs event LOl. I thought of you & Toots. Later this week R will take one of his dillies to his sisterβs house to move an old stove to the street. Hope there is a NASCAR race and a lounge chair in the mix for your Sunday. Posting- just in case to avoid any βproofingβ

Mj- see that you were typing as I was βtalkingβ to you & others. You will not have any trouble sleeping!
Audrey- nice that you and work out a way to help your dog groomer. What an insane twist of fate for her & her family to suffer because of someone elseβs alcoholism. Enjoy your meal w/ your daughter.

Ann Nice to hear that you slept well last night. Yesβ the two fire spots are funny. I should have explained that the back back fire pit one is for burning large branches and such. Far less work to burn a whole branch rather than to cut it into small pieces. Yesterday he burned large pieces of branches from tree trimming.

Internet was gone and now is back. Did manage to talk to our daughter last night though not on a free service. Hope to talk to our son and his family tonight. Will be doing some grocery shopping soon...or sending in an order and having it delivered. Scale is 165.2 one day and 166 the next...eager for it to head on down but it will when it is ready.
One of my Greek friends has spend a year and a half with her daughter in Dubai - the daughter had a baby and wanted her mom to be there while she worked. The husband of my friend was in Australia, developed an infection, was in ICU, had system failure and nearly died. He is back in Lebanon on oxygen and she has returned to take care of him. Life is crazy...don't think he had covid-19 but still was in ICU and very sick. Still is not really well, I don't think. It makes me realize how fragile life is and to make the most of every moment!
BEE: SO sad to hear of the passing of your friend's daughter.
ANN: How fun that Benjamin was a hit at your evening soiree...and how fun to have another to look forward to next week! I hope the vet has ideas for Benjamin's eye.
JUNE: It sounds like it is spring gardening weather where you live! Does your husband enjoy being outside doing the work?
AUDREY: That is CRAZY about the drunk driver plowing through the dog groomer's home! I hope they get it sorted sooner than later!
SUSI: I bet Lily has enjoyed the day at home and outside with you! I wonder what she will think when the pool is filled with water and people are there to enjoy it with you?
BECKY: Glad you could get your two mile walk in. Sorry your leg is still tight. How often does the lawn need to be mowed?
LADONNA: How nice to be away from home and enjoying where you are and what you are doing!
MJ: Sounds busy. How often do the YM have to do fitness tests?

MJ sounds like you had a wonderful day outdoors yesterday. Have fun today at MousekeHouse. Enjoy NASCAR Think of all the Vitamin D that's in your body June I hear you on the chopping and burning LOL. I bet that's a lot of work either way! Enjoy whatever you end up making with your cooked chicken breast Cathy you are right. At least you are bouncing around lower numbers. Happy your internet is back up and running. I agree...life is crazy at times. Keeping your DF DH in my prayers. I am going to hit the pavement soon. It's a beautiful day out there. I need to walk before it gets too hot (for me) LOL. Waving...........

June, that was a great price on the chicken breast. MJ, sounds like your weekend mornings are very busy but at least you can relax watching NASCAR in the afternoons. Cathy, I hope your friendβs husband gets better. At least she was able to get home and help him after helping her daughter. I weeded the vegetable garden and am taking a break with a big glass of water before I do the rest of the yard. The bending up and down is tough but it is only 70 degrees. I have two loads of laundry waiting to be folded and then Iβll wash the towels.
