Good morning everyone,
Looks like it will be a cloudy day! Currently it's 59; the high will be 77.
I woke up at 5:30am and had been tossing & turning in bed so I got up and fed the birds. Now I'm doing breakfast.
I think it will be a long day but I have laundry, starting a new book by Nora Roberts called Of Blood and Bone. This might be a surprise for me as she usually writes love stories. Either way I'm sure it's good.
Have a great day & stay safe with some masks starting to disappear.

Good Morning All
Emily - You might try reading J.D. Robb (aka Nora Roberts) books. She has written 52 of them and 53 will be out in September. I've read the 52. ___________ in Death is the title of each. Mystery, a little Romance and Future. Fantastic Fiction is a web site that lists all of hers (and other authors).
No plans for me till Wednesday for my hearing test and check my hearing aids.
Have a Super Sunday.

I just finished watching my church service on line. I am amazed at what I can get done in the hour between the time I get up, take my thyroid med, check my blood sugar level, and get dressed. Today I got the laundry started and vacuumed the entry way and the living room. Nothing else is planned for the day. It's sunny and 64 degrees outside. Maybe a walk is in my future.

I like JD Robb and have read all of them as well. I do like Nora Roberts when she writes a series. Usually 3 books so not long series. I do post her new series and JD Robb novels on the Reading Thread when there is a new one coming out. I really don't keep up with the romance ones but will pick one up now and then just for those times when I need a short romance in my life and we all have those days don't we? Calgon take me away afternoon.
It is to be in the 70's and the sunshine is warm today but the breeze is still chilly. I brought the hanging basket in again last night. especially the begonia. they are the small ones but they don't like the cold. Kind of stunts the blooming. It was 48° in middle of the night. No frost anyway. I did have to close the window here beside me, that air is still cold.
I wet swiffered the kitchen floor this morning. I always go over it with the dry swiffer cloths too. new place mats on kitchen table and all the wooden chairs and table were wiped down good. I liked the avatar of the book case and the old radio. Neat like displaying an old Singer sewing machine. Lot of people around here have one of them them. but the book case right up my alley. I have a book case that is not really old but has 5 shelves with glass doors and is Oak. the top shelf is my wine bottles and some fancy liquor bottles yep with alcohol in them. Have a miss mash of things on the other shelves. Books, fancy flower vases that are really old ( most cut glass) and a couple of pictures in fancy frames also. Probably looks like a mess to some but I like it.

Good morning all,
Weather will be sunny and 69* today. It got hot in the apartment yesterday afternoon and we turned on the AC to cool it off and then turned it off for the night. I did get my laundry done yesterday and there is something wrong with my washing machine. So now I am going to have to buy a washing machine and a dishwasher. We are slowly replacing all of the appliances in the condo: heater, AC unit, hot water heater, dryer and refrigerator. So these two and the stove and microwave are the only ones left. I was going to go to church but I didn't feel good today so I didn't go. Ed did go.
I am looking for some patterns today for children's clothes. Ami asked me to make some sundresses for the baby. She is allergic to rayon and had a terrible reaction to the outfit she had on on Friday. I found two that I had purchased for another grandchild. I am such a hoarder. I really need to clean out things. I think I will go on the internet and look for fabric today. I have purchased fabric from a site called Bug Fabric and it is really nice material. Usually I like to touch the fabric to see if I like it or not. I also need to pay some bills today.
Have a good day.

Good morning everyone
Hope to hear from Betty this morning.
Today will be a high of 64 and cloudy. Cozy day inside. Slept in one hour later.
Not sure what I am going to do today. I feel like continuing to purge the house. On a mission. Lol. The mentality I have right now if we won’t use the item or we don’t love it….out it goes. Even with it being an antique or sentimental. Being careful to not unload anything without asking sister or daughters if they want family inherited stuff.
I was so happy to see the radio of my dads to be used in decorating. Really had no idea how pretty it is. Most of his radio stuff was ugly. He was a Ham radio operator and had tons of stuff. it’s in my picture area. Guess I liked it when bringing it home 6 years ago. Had it covered with a cloth in cabinet in the hall. Never looked at it all this time. Glad I have it.
It is unbelievable the stuff in this house. Was mainly compounded bring home items from my moms house and MIL house. We have not bought anything deco in at least 6 years. That’s when my mom died and stuff came over here.
After it’s cleared out Hubby and I both want new art work. We still plan on getting the adjustable bed in a couple of weeks.

Mar, My DD is so sorry they didn't get the bed that adjusts on both sides of the bed. Her DH put the head up high and also likes the foot area elevated. She has not gotten a good nights sleep since they got it Did tell her to call the store and tell them they wanted to exchange it but guess I don't know their money situation as she said no that she would get used to it. UMMM I'm going to keep quiet now!! I actually thought that Is the one they were going to get. Must have changed their minds.

Connie- yes we are getting a split king adjustable beds. That way we can each have it the way we want. Basically 2 extra long twin beds hooked together. Same width as a standard king bed. They are expensive. Hope we like it

Things don't appear to be going in the right direction. The procedure done yesterday didn't accomplish what I thought it was going to. His urine is still quite bloody and the one doc that was in this morning talked about a blood transfusion if his hemoglobin kept going down. Not a good thing. He looks very sick right now. Color is not good.
I had a whole house full of company last night. DS #1, DDIL, DGS and his family plus DS#2 and his family. They ordered supper from a local place. Not so good. I'm sure not use to a 2 year old in the house. Ozzie was scared of her.
Cloudy and cool here. Can't tell if it's raining or not. The view from here is a brick wall. 😍 lovely

Happy Day All!
Went to the grocery store this morning for a few things. Will have to go later in the week so stuff for the weekend will be fresh. Yesterday actually walked a mile total - 1/2 on the road. I have to start getting back to some kind of exercise.
Betty - so sorry about Dave. I wish I could do more, but can only continue the prayers, virtual hugs and warm thoughts. One of my BFFs from high school is in essentially the same situation you are. They just can't figure out what's wrong with her DH. So frustrating. I agree with Ozzie - 2 yr olds can be really scary!
Mar - love the bookcase with the radio on it. Made me think of the huge radio my folks had when I was little. Was as high as a bookshelf - probably 4 feet. Haven't thought of it in years. Sigh...
Emily - I've always liked Nora Roberts, but J.D. Robb even better. It's been a while but I may have to look for some now.
PeggySue - will definitely look at the Fantastic Fiction website...although I think I'm registered there and get emails when new books come out by authors I've selected. I subscribe to Book Bub, and they send me emails periodically with lists of new books, as well as cheaper books. Have read some great series lately that were 99 cents on Amazon - sometimes for a whole series of 4-6.
Connie -going to try to remember to post on "What Are You Reading" tomorrow when you start a new one. I'm reading a totally different kind of book right now - a series of three books. All about South Africa in the 1800 up through WWI. May go into WWII, but haven't gotten that far yet. Tune in tomorrow!
Becki - an inquiring mind wants to know... how is Ami pronounced? Is it like Amy, or like Ah-me? I have a DGGD whose name is Ahna, and people still want to say Anna.
Realized today I don't have a nice new outfit for the anniversary party. Am headed to Hamricks first thing in the morning. It's about 30-45 minutes away, but I always find something nice at a reduced price.
Must go back to trying to declutter. Just hoping I don't mess it up again before next weekend! Doesn't take long.
Cheers all!

Just a quick check in - unexpected visitors this morning! Kind of screwed up the tempo of the day. Betty thoughts and prayers for you and Dave. So scary when they cant figure out what's causing the problem.
Be back tomorrow when things get back to normal.

Ohhh Betty. Hopefully the bleeding will stop and won’t need the transfusion
I think I ran out of steam. Been on couch most of the day. No purging. No decorating. No cleaning. Soooo today is a day of rest. Well needed.
