Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Good day at work yesterday. Sold 10 cars, 3 new and the rest used. I kept busy with scanning, most of it is done. Got a head start on my gas invoice, will finish that today.
Will be in the 79s this week. After today it looks like rain for the rest of the week.
Laundry on today’s agenda. I should probably go to the grocery store too, but might leave that until tomorrow.
Sounds like everyone had a nice weekend.
Enjoy your day

Joyce, it sounds like it was a good day at work yesterday with the sales. We are supposed to get rain this week also but not every day. I’m doing laundry also, the laundry never ends.
Martha, great job on getting things done over the weekend. We were cold most of the weekend, but today the temps are in the 70s and the sun is shining. Nice day outside here. Have a good day at work.
Ruth, I think you do a good job on getting rid of things with having Mara so often. I never found it easy to accomplish a lot when my boys were that age. Some of the boxes I’m getting rid of were the boxes I packed last year but couldn’t take them anyplace due to the pandemic. The money raised at the tag sale goes to help pay for the trip the church takes to Appalachia to work on houses for the people there. DS#2 went when he was in high school, and even then the trip was expensive.
Some of the stuff I’m getting rid of today are wedding presents that we didn’t use much. There is also a box of craft supplies, I kept the c raft items I can use with the grands but got rid of everything else. Also there are 2 boxes of vases. The office I worked in was responsible for planning and being at luncheons and dinners for the CEO. There were always beautiful flower arrangements and we usually brought them back to our office and put them on the desks. I kept many of the vases and pots (don’t ask me why) and that is one thing I won’t be needing and put in the donation box. The box contains at least 2 dozen different types of vases/pots and there are more that I should add to the box.

Good late evening all. Joy, work sounds like it’s going well, even w/o a ton of new cars coming in. Always nice to have scanning and things to fall back on.
Martha, seems there’s always more to do; and you are doing great!!!
Dottie, I’d love to have more energy to get more done. I do some things, but not nearly as much as I’d like.
Stan talked to the sleep doctor today. He mentioned most of my concerns. She put him on gabapentin for restless legs and authorized new hoses, masks, etc for his cpap machine. I’m not a fan of the gabapentin but it’s what she uses, so he’ll give it a try. Our son has a different medicine for his restless legs. I think stress is a big factor with him not sleeping well too.
Off to bed shortly. Will try to get on earlier tomorrow. Taking Mara home before lunch time; then we are having dinner with my fulltime RV’ing DF & her DH.
More tomorrow!
