Hello Everyone - Hope you've had a good weekend sunrose - Hope you enjoyed your walk I was disappointed with my weigh-in. I didn't lose any weight, but I guess I"m happy I didn't gain This past week is when I ate around the same number of calories each day instead of mixing them up with high and low days. I'm going to go back to mixing the calories up this week and see what happens. I'm sure my metabolism isn't that great after so many years of dieting and I think at my age just eating the same amount each day lets my body adjust to that and not lose - at least that's what I'm going with Hope you all have a good week!

Hello! cj59 - I think that doing physical activity for the health benefits as opposed to weight loss is the best approach; it's just good for you. sunrose49 - I hope you had a good weekend! I've not been tracking or even remotely OP. I would have liked to have gotten back OP this week, but I wasn't willing to sacrifice my plans for the weekend to do it. Tomorrow is WI and turnover day for my points, so I will WI in the morning and go from there. I do feel like I've maybe gained a bit these past couple of weeks, but that's ok. Hope you are all doing well!

wwlurker - I'm glad you enjoyed your weekend and didn't worry about the points. Hope this new week is a good one for you I'm still walking, tracking, drinking a lot of water, and eating pretty well - hope I can continue that this week Hope everyone is doing well.

Good morning!
I did my WI this morning and it was shocking. I've gained 8 pounds in the last two weeks. I knew that I had gained a bit, but not that much.
There are several factors at play, so I'm hoping that by refocusing, I can bring it back down to a more reasonable number over the next week.
I'm really trying to see this as just a normal blip. My weight is going to fluctuate depending on what I have going on in my life.
I hope you all are doing well!

Hello Everyone wwlurker - Sorry to hear about the gain, but I wonder if some of that was fluid. Hopefully you'll have a good week and see a lot of that gone next week. I admire your attitude to accepting that your weight will fluctuate depending on what's going on in your life - that's a good way to deal with gains. I haven't done well this week. I know that seeing no loss at my weigh-in on Sunday set me up to feel unmotivated. Along with that I had to go in grocery stores twice this week and did buy a few junky foods that I've tried to keep out of the house. I don't feel like I've overate that much, and I've made sure to keep walking, drink my water, and eat fruits and vegetables each day. I know that weighing myself can cause good and bad behaviors from me. I'm very goal orientated, so when I work really hard for several weeks and don't see any loss I feel like my hard work wasn't worth it. I know that's not true, but it's difficult to change that mindset. But I'm not sure if I stopped weighing myself if that would be good for me. I'm wondering if I'd do better weighing every other week? Hope all of you are doing well and staying on plan. Take care

Good morning
Wwlurker, sorry about the gain. I think you have a good attitude about it and will be successful in turning it around.
Cj59, I think you have a good attitude too. You seem to be doing all the right things. Do you weigh weekly now?
I know I’ve said this before but I want to be better about checking in daily or at least every other day. I had a loss this week at my weight watcher meeting so I was happy about that. But I’m still way too high on the scale just got to keep moving on and not given up.

Hope everyone is doing well and had a good weekend. I signed up this morning for Denise Austin’s free summer challenge. I’m hoping that will get me back into exercising

Hi sunrose - I'm glad to hear you had another good weigh-in this week. I hope you like the Denise Austin challenge for the summer. I find doing challenges help me too. I've been struggling since last week. I'm still walking each day and tracking my food but I'm overeating portions and eating some junk food. It's amazing how quickly I can get off track and how difficult it is to get back there. Hope all of you are doing well. Take care and have a good week

Hi everyone! I've been struggling lately. I've not gotten back to tracking regularly. I've not been doing as well at taking care of myself as I would like. I have been super hungry for some reason, and I've been struggling with overeating in the evenings. I did WI today, and I'm down a bit. I'm going to try to get back on track and pay closer attention to how I am treating myself. sunrose49, I really need to figure out a plan for regular activity. I really struggle with that. cj59, I hear you on how hard it is to get back on track. It's like the stars have to align. I try to pay attention to how I'm feeling and what I feel my body needs in the moment so that I can honour that, but it's difficult. Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning
Cj59, I’m the same regarding trying to get back on track. I’m kind of half on/half off.
Wwlurker, that’s good you were down some on the scale.
Nice weather today so I will get out and do some yard work.

Good morning! cj59 and sunrose49, I hope that we all are able to get fully back on track soon! I did ok for my first day tracking yesterday. Today is a bit more of a normal day for me. I am big on routine and I like when things are normal. I'm going to try to get some walking in on my lunch hour today; it's a nice day out, I'm wearing an outfit I can walk in, and I actually have the time, so there shouldn't be any excuse! Have a great day everyone!

Hello Everyone sunrose - Hope you enjoyed the yardwork in the nice weather wwlurker - I'm glad you had a loss this past week and I wish you success with tracking this week. Hope you were able to get out and walk. I had a little binge last night eating up the last of some cookies I had brought into the house. I really can't bring in sweet things, I have no control over them. So I hope I can keep them out now. I haven't been counting my calories/points for a few days, but I am writing down what I eat. I think sometimes I just need a break from all the "counting", it's just so frustrating to know that I have to measure and count what I eat. I feel like I should be able to eat a normal portion without doing that, but I know that my "normal" is not a real "normal". Hope all of you are doing well on your plans

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well I'm not sure how I'm doing really. I've been tracking, walking, eating healthy foods, but also eating some junk and a bit of overeating. I'm afraid to weigh myself because I think I'll see a gain and I worry what that will do to me. I'm going to try to get rid of the junky foods (mostly the sweet ones since I can usually control the salty ones better) over the next 2 days and then I'll be ready to start a new week on Sunday. I don't really have a lot of sweet stuff in the house, so it isn't a lot to eat. I'll just have to remember that I can't control these foods and I need to stop buying them. Have a great weekend!
