Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Lots of good news in this thread yesterday.
Dottie - glad no changes in your eyes. Thanks for the reminder on returning shoes, I have a pair to send back. Hope you find something comfortable. I’m lucky I sit s lot. I get away with wearing Sketchers most of the time.
Ruth - glad that you like your doctor. I’m sure he will really help your hand/finger problems. Trust in your doctor is really important, I know that from recent experience.
Martha - I enjoy cereal and milk, can eat it anytime. My favorite cold cereals are Grape Nuts Flakes, Cheerios (regular and multi grain) or Bran Flakes. Bananas and strawberries round off the meal. Putting cereal on my grocery list, don’t want to run out.
Sounds like the office drama is going to continue for a while, Allie went to GM to talk yesterday. Ugh! I tend to just let things go, I’ve had to much real office drama over the years, most of this stuff is childish to me. Just letting you know it doesn’t really affect me, coming in late in the day is actually a good thing. Everyone is talking about the lack of cars situation. I think staffing changes are coming soon. I’m prepared for losing hours, getting extra ones a while back will pretty much even things out. Everyone figures by September things will be back to normal.
Enjoy your day

(((hugs))) Happy Friday! I'm past ready for the weekend to be here. Had plans to work on spare room. Stister/Friend said she might come over. We shall see how much I work on it. Dottie - I hate when they dilate my eyes. Glad to hear no changes. Ruth - Altho, you still have to have surgery. That was a good report from dr. Hoping it relieves your pain. Joy - Shaking head at the office drama. I try to stay out of the drama but kudos to Allie for saying enough! and going to GM. Hoping that her talk with GM will prove positive for you.
Not much planned for today - work. Need to finish grocery list for in the morning. Dinner tonight - baked potatoes.
HUGS~ m

Good afternoon all. Joy, it’s so nice that you can let the drama just roll over and not bother you. How did your boss ever get into a management position? I always wonder that when I hear about / work with people like her. Not surprising if they cut hours with a lack of cars. Apparently that’s an issue with all dealerships now. Computer chip shortages!!!
Dottie, I hate having my eyes dilated. They use the stuff in the morning and my eyes are still dilated about 7 or 8 in the evening. Stuff really affects me. Our long time ophthalmologist learned to use the drops that stop the dilation or else she’d have her assistants use saline to wash the rest away before I got too bad. I explained it to the new eye doctor we had to find and they used a little less and used saline. Reminds me Stan & I both need to schedule eye appts. We usually go once a year and missed last year.
Martha, it’s nice that you can work from home and avoid a lot of the office politics and gossip and all. Maybe your DS can help you with that spare room. I love when DD’s are willing to help me with the basement clutter. I’m going to have them help me this summer!!!
It was almost 80 at 9:30 this morning. It’s 90 in the shade here at 1 pm. Going to mid-upper 90’s later. We got the sprinkler pad, water table, and Mara’s pool up; and the easy-up awning to cover them to keep her from getting too much sun. She was soaked to the skin when we came in and her clothes are out on the fence drying. She couldn’t care less about being cold and wet! Does NOT bode well for potty training!
Harper & Sawyer are coming out after dinner. They are taping Harper’s cello recital performance late afternoon after school and then DD will bring them out. She wants to get in a run tomorrow early early before it gets over 80!!!
I have some laundry going that I brought home with Mara. Hoping for more over the weekend.
Have a wonderful Friday all and will check in tomorrow!

Joyce, you have a really good outlook about the office situation. I guess lack of cars in another problem from Covid. I hope the dealership is back to normal by September. I wonder the same thing that Ruth brought up, how did the office manager get to be in charge since it doesn’t sound like she is really supervisor material.
Ruth, the hand doctor sounds wonderful and your recovery will be very quick, that is always a plus. Sounds like it will be a busy weekend with the girls. I’m sure the older girls are a big help with keeping Mara occupied. I’m able to drive home (with sunglasses) after they dilate my eyes, so they must put something in to stop the dilation. I have to do this twice a year so I guess I’m used to it.
Martha, hope you have some time to work in your extra/spare room. Although visiting with sister/friend sounds nice also.
Last night when I took my hearing aids out the tip stayed in my ear. I felt my ear was clogged so I tried using a q tip and that is when I realized the problem. This morning I went to Costco (where I got the hearing aids from) and they checked my ear but legally are not able to remove anything. I went to a walk-in. They were very busy. I was there over 2 hours and when I finally saw the doctor he removed the tip in less than 2 minutes. No damage to the ear, but it seemed like a wasted morning for me.
