This thread is for all of us who have been on the weight loss merry-go-round quite a few times. We have banded together to make this our FINAL time. We offer support & motivation, WEIGHT LOSS TIPS, food ideas – whatever you need to make it your FINAL time. If you start the day’s thread, please copy and paste this paragraph, with the following 2021 Goals:
Carole: 1.) Journal Daily, thoughts, feelings, ideas 2.) Track daily, Good, Bad, Ugly, HONESTLY 3.) Move every day, 10-30 minutes, as able 4.) Limit/Reduce Alcohol, All of it! 5.) Be thankful for something - every day.
Gabrielle: 1. Wellness--take steps each day to address better wellness (moving, attention to my eating, getting sleep, etc.) 2. Debt-- continue to take steps to eliminate debt (including the kids college debt that we are covering) so that I have no debt when I retire. 3. Connectedness-- each month have a plan to stay connected to those who I care about (maybe dinner once/month after COVID, Zoom, phone calls, etc.) 4. Creativity -- seek out projects that keep me using the creative side of my brain (knitting, paint parties?, etc.) 5. Journaling/Self-Awareness--find a way to journal my thoughts and to think through challenges and opportunities
Sue: 1. Get moving - plan to utilize my Cubii 3-5 times per week at least 2. Moderation - limiting junk, snacks, wine and all things I know that sabotage my success 3. Daily Gratitude - continue our November daily gratitude. 4. Start a journal - my "Life & Apples" journal will arrive later in the week. 5. Be more "present" - in life, in my journey, with family & friends, in all aspects of my world.
Jenny: 1) I'm moving to a clean eating plan like more veggie dishes and less red meat 2) I pulled out my Bob Harper from the Biggest Loser's " Yoga for weight loss DVD" and do that in the evening since it's pouring down rain here. 3) Cut way back on the wine at nights, they sell those tiny little bottles that have 5oz in them and limit myself to only 1-2 per day, that can work right? 4) Track everything even if I'm in the negatives and hold myself accountable
Christine: 1. Cardio exercise daily (walk, stationary bike) 2. FOLLOW the WW Plan using Honesty. 3. Daily gratitude - Say something NICE each morning
Karen: 1. Take one step at a time and be kind to myself. 2. Move by getting my kayak on the water at least one day per week... it will be more as the weather warms. 3. Stick to my intermittent fasting schedule. 4. Try to sleep reasonably.
Shelly: 1. Be more organized at work. Never leave with stuff on my desk 2. Be there for people when they need someone to lean on 3. Stick with WW plan!!! No matter what!!!! 4. Be a better influence on those around me.

Good morning ☼ SENSIBLE SATURDAY!! I need to save some sensibility today - Zoë requested spaghetti for dinner last night! UGH! I need to track it, but KNOW I will be over my carbs for the day! LOL With a 4 year old, you don't try to mix in the healthy stuff! Oh well, one meal...
Meanwhile, yesterday was a good day! Work was OK, and eating drinking went well. I moved a little more than I had been, took a short walk on break. It was a beautiful day, and after dinner, DH & I just SAT on our back porch. We have not done that in a very long time! Tracy & Zoë were working on her letters - as she "goes to school in the fall" - LOL I guess she needs to be ready! Anyway, it was a nice evening to just sit & talk.
Slept in until almost 7 this morning - here it is almost 8 and Ken & Zoë are still sleeping!! Tracy & Eden should be along shortly - so I am enjoying the quiet of the morning for now. I will refill my coffee and be right back ♥

We never did get our T-Storms yesterday, but that's OK with me!
Gabrielle: YES, Thank goodness you have 2 days of NOT being out there on the running trails, or waiting to pick up DH! You deserve a weekend to re-group. Sunday will be nice - a BBQ for the family. ♥ What will you serve? Oh yes, tracking is so much easier when you eat pretty much the same thing each day.
LOL I too am a creature of habit. I was getting used to the early morning hair cuts - then she went back to after work, now this. LOL I will go and enjoy the haircut - going a little shorter again for the summer - and then come home to see what the day will bring! I think Ken and I will take the girls home, and then stop to (try to) buy a new dryer! Heck maybe this is the day to just get all the new appliances we want - and not waste time getting them one at a time?!
I can say - the thing with Emily, it's different than K, only because K used to waste her time and then complain about having to work at such a fast pace! Emily, admits her day is long/boring due to not enough work! It's just so strange how this restructuring has made most of us feel like we don't have enough work to keep us busy all day!
I will try to just put it aside... but the fact he said "she isn't really mean.." that rubs me the wrong way! I am quiet - I don't do well with meeting new people - but I hope I don't come across that way with everyone "new" that I meet - or God forbid WORK WITH! I do keep to myself a LOT... I hope people don't misunderstand that and think of me as "mean" or "rude" - whatever... gotta move forward.
Good luck with your organization of the support stuff for Ed's run. Major undertaking there! Almost like a 2nd job!
Jenny: Oh yeah, slow days at work do NOT help when we don't sleep well! Thanks - Yes, Bob is very shy and quiet too. He came up to the house yesterday. I was at work, but I guess he told Tracy he was nervous about coming to a new place! He was just out of his element!
Oh My - I'd have wanted to take the Monday after graduation weekend OFF! LOL Definitely going to be a long one for you. Are you having a party of any kind to celebrate after the graduation?
Sue: Ugh, sorry you have to work this morning. Good luck getting it all done, and caught up, so you can go in Monday to a fresh week!

OK Tracy & Eden got her a few minutes ago - Ken is up... Eden & Tracy are playing a board game until Zoë wakes up. It is 64 already and the sun is shining! ☼ I will get some laundry going - to hang outside! I expect we will do more pool vacuuming today, and maybe - just MAYBE get the ladder in so the girls can get in if they really want to! Might even get the steps in - we'll see how the morning goes! I have to leave shortly after noon - so he's on his own with the girls until around 2!
Probably won't be back to check in today - my Saturdays usually get away from me
♥hugs♥

Good Morning! I slept in until 6:00, took a shower and thought I would start some work on contract reports but...didn't happen. DH decided to take today OFF because he's just tired and would like to take a Saturday off. Can't really blame him. It's beautiful out today - high of 80s and plenty of sun! Last Monday I worked really hard in the yard and got a good start on planting and mulching. In the process I got poison ivy. Again. Geeze. Drives me nuts that I'm so busy I fail to see the darn poisonous plant! UGH! And this time it keeps spreading - I've been researching it and it said it could 'pop out' 5 days afterwards. Which I now believe. I must have gotten some of the 'oil' on my bath scrubby and it has spread to different parts of my body - very itchy! UGH!! I was using Lindsey's prescription strength eczema lotion which helped so much more than cortisone cream. Today I bought more Calamine. I triple checked my mattress and bedding to be sure it's not bed bugs - yes, that thought was in the back of my mind - but I clud not find any evidence of bugs. Plus, DH does not have any of these red marks that itch. I'm over it - darn it. Yesterday was a fun long day. I worked a half day then Carly and I drove to Butler to see her new apartment! They had an identical unit that was empty for us to walk through and get some ideas how to furnish hers. I had to keep reminding her the rooms are smaller compared to a house. Her and Ben are making plans - it's really fun to be a part of it - after we saw the apartment we drove to a local bank to open an account for her - she'll need checks for Direct Deposit and little things, but mostly wanted a local bank that also has offices in Erie. While at this bank their power went out! And yes, we were locked in lol but worse, the lady had to start Carly's application process all over again. No lie, we were there 2 HOURS to open a checking account. OMG! I could not believe it was taking so long! I laughed and said DH and I took out a mortgage in shorter amount of time! What the heck?!?! lol No idea why this lady was pecking away so so slow, could not spell our last name for the life of her, only her computer was working despite the power outage, and well...it was just a long day. Afterwards we GPS a shopping plaza/Commons and found TJ MAXX, Chili's, Kohls, ahhh civilization! lol

MMS from work....got here just before 7:00am! Gloria was already here, she woke up and couldn't fall back to sleep so she got here around 6:00am. She plans to leave between 10-11:00am and I'm out of here at noon...that's long enough!!
Never did run the errands after work last night so need to do them today before I head home. First stop, Sam's for gas....my light has been on for the last 2 days so don't want to risk running out! LOL!!
It's a gorgeous day so hope to get time to enjoy the sunshine!!

Evening all. I wonder if I will ever get here on a more regular basis. It’s been a pretty rough week 😢. I can’t really go in to detail but all I can do is ask for you guys to keep my family in your prayers. Please please pray as hard as you ever have for us. Divorces can be pretty tough and this one is a rough one. Lots of prayers for Tyler please.
Work is still rough. Need to still find a couple closing managers. The one I have right now goes off to college aug so gotta get some thing figured out ASAP. I think between the stress of the 2 I do t know how I’m going to keep it together. We are supposed to go in vacation the end of July.
Sorry I’m out of the loop but no time for personals. I will try to do better about checking post more often but may not be able to post daily. Hope to be back soon
