lani, I went mask less yesterday when we went to the dealer to pick up my husband's new car. Almost everyone there didn't wear a mask. Hope we're okay.

I see very few masks anymore . I just worked 4 days at a church summer festival, I still can't believe how many people came. Food tents completely sold out. I saw at most 5 masks over the 4 days.

As I have pretty much recuperated from my hip replacement, and I'm feeling generally better overall, I have been more anxious to start getting out. My state (New Mexico) opened up completely yesterday, but businesses are still allowed to require masks. Most only require for those not vaccinated, but some (like the Post Office) require masks to enter. I'm still seeing masks worn, but not as many as before. I find that if I'm not required to wear a mask, I don't. We've gone out to eat a few times, my daughter and I went to the movies a couple of weeks ago, and I've felt comfortable doing so.

#1 done this morning. Pfizer #2 July 19th. Day 1 was fine. Day 2 I woke up feeling like my body weighed 400lbs. Stomach sick. The scariest part was the whole right side of my face felt as if I had been to the dentist and had novacaine and my ear felt blocked. I tried to tell myself maybe I slept of that side of my face or the fan blew on my skin and gave me a draft. Trying not to think it was from the vaccine. All day I kept feeling my cheek and ear and pursing my lips to make sure I was not developing bells palsey. Day 3 I felt the same but not quite as bad. By evening all of the symptoms were going away, I still felt slightly off but near normal. Thursday I felt normal but scared, what the heck was that?? I have anxiety that ramps up from time to time, I still have a low level of worry that the numbness is going to come back.

Jennifer, that sounds scary I remember one of the youtube doctors mentioning (months ago) that people who had chronic sinus infections had that kind of reaction.

Jennifer, Sorry to hear you had a reaction. Glad the side effects seem to have gone away. I can understand worrying that the problem with your face might come back. Have you read anything about people having that type of side effect?
