Jennifer, that worked! Thanks, I would have never looked there! And, truthfully, I only use the barcode scanner which may be why it appears on the initial search bar. bbbearsmom, if you have this on your phone, click on the last option, "saved". That brings up a page with saved foods, activity and posts. On the Saved foods page, the word "filter" is located to the right where you can filter your foods, recipes or meals by Smart Points. The Save Posts option is for things saved from Connect.(never done that either!)

linda72, Not there. I selected "Saved" and on the new page at the top is the back arrow, the word "Saved," and then to the right the word "Select," with the magnifying glass icon on the far right.

Jennifer thanks for sharing about the new calculator scanner. I tried it and it didn't work for the 2 items I tried because it couldn't get a good picture. One was a jar, and the label goes part way around the jar, so the photo didn't capture the sides of the label. The other was a plastic bag type package that was pretty flat. The NI label is a long narrow box, and the photo didn't get the full image from top to bottom. I think this scanner is of limited value.

Ok DUH!!!!!
You can now scan the nutritional facts in when go to enter something!!! (So it automatically populates the nutrition fields when you are adding a food in the calculator.)

Sorry I thought you were talking about the barcode scanner. (They both used to be on the same page.)

I just checked the WW app and it updated again this evening. But, I didn't find anything different so I don't know what that's all about!

Just got an update here too linda72 version 9.14.0 which explains why the nutritional scanner just showed up. Plus, "We've added a "see all" button!" (And we've hidden it so well we get you can't find it!🤣🤣) that might be what the original post was talking about. *Yes, I am just joking about the "see all" button being hidden. I realize they have you download the updates, then they flip the switch and turn them on at a later time for certain things.

On Connect, the @wwofficial page said that "all was fixed" now except I still had the bell in the upper left corner. I messaged them at: @wwmembersupport who wrote me back and told me to do a forced stop of my app and then reboot it. That did nothing so I was told to email them at: resolutionsupport@ww.com We'll see what happens now!
Did everyone get the 3 lines in the upper left corner or are you still showing the bell? If so, contact them and let them know. Many people on Connect are having this issue.

linda72 , Thanks for posting the contact information on the Menu, much appreciated! Linda, do keep us posted if they get it fixed. Good contact information to save if needed down the road if you have problems with the app.😊 I have the Menu on my android phone and android tablet now. Wondered if the rest of you have the Menu now on your app? I plan to join the app academy one day soon, will post about it.

Connect, the @wwofficial page said that "all was fixed" bwhahahahaha well then we know it must be true 🤣🤣🤣 did what they suggested and bell still showing *shocked face* 🙄 There never was a bell on the phone app (iOS) so not sure what the change is supposed to be for that

I just wanted to update everyone based on what I could see on Connect after checking where linda72 mentioned. It seems to be that for ANDROID users this update changed their bell in the top left corner to a menu bar (or hamburger as they called it 🤦🏼♀️). Then it changed it back to a bell for some. This seems to only be about Connect notifications. No one was asking about anything else. BUT, as with any WW update, some people had lost their "saved" foods and/or weight history. My absolute favorite comment on the thread was..... "Please cancel my account." (Old message board members will remember when random people would show up on the message boards and say that, I think we have had a few here too. Needless to say these threads always devolve quickly.)

linda72, DebDoesWW, I did the forced stop and rebooted and still have the bell so I'm waiting to see what linda72, finds out. WW's IT is so frustrating. I liked the menu and I hope it eventually comes back.

Here is the email I received from @wwmembersupport. I did all of this and nothing has changed!
Hi Linda.
Thank you for reaching out in regards to this. We apologize for the issues you are experiencing with your notifications. I would like to try and trouble shoot this with you.
First, let's check your phone and OS for updates. Here's how to do this:
Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi.
Open Settings.
Select About Phone.
Tap Check for Updates. If an update is available, an Update button will appear. Tap it.
Install. Depending on the OS, you'll see Install Now, Reboot and install, or Install System Software. Tap it.
Next, try updating your WW App. You can do this in through the App Store (google play) by searching for "WW Weight Watchers", open for a detailed view of the app, and tap Update.
The final thing I would like you to try, is to opt out of the beta testing.
To do this:
Open the Google Play Store .
Find the WW app.
Tap the app to open the detail page for the app.
Scroll down to find the section on beta testing.
Tap Leave Leave.
Uninstall the app.
Reinstall the app.

I received another email from resolutionsupport@ww.com I've stumped them! They have moved my "issue" up to the engineers to solve. Guess the jr. high kids are still playing video games this weekend so maybe I'll hear something next week. I'll keep you posted! HA!

borntexan, I've only had the bell until 10 days ago. Then, we had an update and I got the menu choices and the 3 lines in the upper left corner. After a couple of days, there was another update and the hamburger (lines) went away and now I only have the bell. BUT, WW thinks they fixed it and said I should not have the bell. I frankly don't care, as long as I can track accurately. We'll see what the engineers come up with.
