Happy Monday, Brenda - thanks for the start. Virginia - I hope your offer is good and NASCAR was exciting.
This morning started with a early walk then body pump. Ted had his second vaccine on Saturday, so far he feels fine.

Hello,
Thanks for the weekly start, Brenda. I hope you had a good weekend and a good Monday.
Debbie, thanks for the good wishes. I’m waiting to hear more about the offer. It sounds like you’re feeling better. I hope Ted has no ill effects from the vaccine. My favorite driver won the NASCAR race. I’m glad I got to see that.
Today was a quiet day around the house plus grocery shopping. A nice bonus was that I saw a dear former coworker at the grocery.
Back to work tomorrow and then the first official HM training session after work.
Waving hi to Lou, Vicki and Lori.
Good night, Ginia

Happy Tuesday, Virginia - yay for HM training. You are going to have so many steps.
Today is happy girls beach day. I had a different group today, two of my pre Covid gym friends came , one regular just for breakfast and we one boyfriend. Very fun even with the scorching day we are having.
Steps are good, I am tired. Debbie

Good morning. Greetings from St. Louis. Will be driving by Evansville at around 1PM today. I don't think the plan has a stop though. Maybe on the way back to Branson.

Hello,
Thanks for starting us, Debbie. It was a scorcher here, too...but no beach, doggone it.
Lou, I hope you waved my way as you drove by the I69 exit as you headed east. Enjoy the visit with the fam and maybe we can catch up on your return trip. Nice picture of the Gateway Arch, BTW.
It was a really busy work day. I met one walking friend early. The conditions were hot and humid. Thankfully we had a bit of a breeze and some shady areas to walk in. We met the HM training group but we were both hot enough from our earlier mileage that we didn't do the entire training route. I was really glad that I had plenty of water in the car. I came too close to overheating. Usually I do a really good job of hydrating during the workday. I didn't today, however. Lesson learned.
I received the formal offer of employment today from the outsourcing company, and I just printed the documents that I need to review, complete and return by Friday in order to complete acceptance of the position. My peer also received his formal offer of employment today. He still has an interview for a position with our current company so we shall see what works out best for him. I am in hopes that the rest of our team who interviewed with the outsourcing company receive an offer.
Time for me to start reading those employment documents...relaxing pre-bedtime reading, lol.
Waving hi to Brenda, Vicki and Lori.
Good night, Ginia

Good morning.
Huzzah for written offers!
We stopped at that terrible Loves/Wendy's truck stop on the way through, Virginia. So we made sure to fuel the local economy for you.

Happy Wednesday, Virginia - yay for a written offer. Please be careful in the heat, becoming overheated happens so quickly. Louis - you are truckin along.
It wasn’t as hot today. I went for a 7am walk then did body pump. I had lunch at a friends house, girls lunch , so much fun. Dreaming of visiting Italy someday. We have our appointment to have our fingerprints done for the new visas, yippee yahoo. Debbie

Good morning and greetings from an undisclosed location that rhymes with Schmooeyville.
I took great delight in waking my nieces and nephew in the most obnoxious way possible to settle an old score from when they wouldn't let me sleep when they were little and insisted that 7AM was a good time to play.
We took them on the bourbon trail yesterday to dip bottles at Maker's Mark. Last night we pulled out the bourbon and got them nice and toasty so my pot and pan serenade would be most appreciated this morning.
Revenge isn't a dish best served cold. It's best left to simmer for about 17 years.

Hello,
Happy Friday evening to everyone.
Lou, thank you for supporting the local economy. I apologize for the substandard coffee. Some truck stop/convenience stores have okay (or even good!) coffee, I am sorry that is not one of them. The revenge story made me laugh. That was a long time to wait, but what satisfaction!
Debbie, I am glad the heat subsided for you. It was hot and steamy for yesterday's walk, also. We got wise and decided not to be overachievers, so we were okay. I still made sure that I had plenty of water waiting for me in the car.
Thank you for the kind words and good wishes. I spent the past two evenings reading, reviewing and filling out paperwork. I submitted all my signed documents around 10:30 last night. Receipt has been acknowledged, so I am on track to have no interruption in employment. Four more team members have received offers this week, two of them occurring today. The original deadline for offers was to have been today. Those who haven't received any word since their interview got an e-mail today notifying them that the process is ongoing and that the deadline is extended. One of my cohorts and I called the affected team members who are on vacation to give them the news. Hopefully most (if not all) of the team will receive offers.
I took an extended lunch to meet my BFF since fourth grade. We celebrated her birthday and talked and talked. We haven't gotten together since COVID. There was lots to catch up on, as you can well imagine.
Tomorrow is HM training. We are scheduled for three miles with the group. As long as the rain isn't too bad and the lightning stays away I suspect we will add on a couple of miles after the group's distance is complete.
Waving hi to Brenda, Vicki and Lori. I hope you are all doing well!
Good night, Ginia

Good morning.
That has got to be a load off your mind, Virginia.
My nieces and nephew were NOT expecting a pot and pan wake up *again* this morning after we were all up until 1 last night. 🤣

Hello,
Lou, thanks for our morning start. Oh, those young adults may be plotting some revenge on you after two mornings of early, raucous wake up calls from their favorite uncle. Watch your back! And yes, I definitely feel that a weight has been lifted. I am still anxious on behalf of those who haven't received word yet.
We had thunderstorms early this morning but all was clear for the HM training start. We added on some distance and then cut that a bit short because rain moved in again.
It should be a quiet weekend around here. I think a nap is in my future later today.
Waving hi to Debbie, Brenda, Vicki and Lori.
Happy Saturday, Ginia
